Is this really unacceptable?
What made the Star Wars prequels so bad? This is from someone who never watched a star wars movie. Im thinking of starting from the prequels.
I always felt like the first two prequels played more like a weird assemblage of George Lucas' ideas that were only half-baked and yet pushed through anyway. The characters and relationships aren't really empathetic and the plot is near incomprehensible at times. For my money, the third one feels more like actual fleshed-out storytelling, with humor and pathos and likable characters in situations that we care about.
I don't understand this part. Wouldn't a giant troll stabbing you with a trident still crush all your bones and vitals, even if you're wearing mithril?
Is she funny or something?
Do you skip love scenes?
Is he the finest actor of his generation?
Have you ever had a Seinfeld problem in real life?

What a shitty film.
