What's the most terrifying movie you've ever seen?
Brakhage's The Act of Seeing with One's Own Eyes
I remember being a kid and watching TED because I loved Army of Darkness. Holy shit, what a difference. I couldn't leave the room. I had to hide behind a pillow.
what was quentin's most powerful release?
What's the best way to watch these? Are there extended, directors, etc cuts and editions and whatnot or should one just watch all the normal versions in a row and thats that?
ITT: Reality TV done right
I actually thought Nicole Richie was funny at times.
ITT: guess the political beliefs of an actor or filmmaker
Right wing pothead
Apolitical but secretly a nationalistic right winger
Centrist with libertarian leanings
t. my intuition, no source for these
Do you find this a compelling trilogy? Please share why.
I have seen the first film five times over the years and I have never cared for it. I have seen the second and third once each and cared for them even less. (I know, nobody likes the third) But what is so great about the trilogy?
It is well lit and well acted. Not much more I have to say for it. I don't find any of the characters interesting or sympathetic, and nothing in the narrative holds any weight for me besides Michael's first two murders cementing his place in the crime world.

I liked it because I'm big on family. I only really liked the first movie, and toward the beginning when everyone was operating together. When people started dropping, it grew gloomy. I liked Sonny for sticking up for his sister and for pic related, but he was a hothead who cheated on his woman which was disappointing. I liked Fredo for being laid back, but felt bad for him being the older brother who got no respect. I liked Michael through most of the first movie. Don Corleone was fantastic throughout.
i read the book and watched the movies again. its more a miniseries than a traditional trilogy viewed this way. like the original house of cards. 3 movies, a miniseries. not a trilogy. you know?
also puzo is a fucking hack, the movies are better
I know what's going on. I got set up. I got jumped.
>Im going to bury you underground
What did he mean by this?
I want to watch Paul Dano's movies again just for the scenes of Paul Dano getting slapped around
DUDE LENS FLARE LMAO
>It's a "Hank being insecure despite the macho frat boy front he puts on in front of everyone" episode
Robert Downey Jr.: $40 million
Scarlett Johansson: $20 million
Chris Evans: $6.9 million
Jeremy Renner: $6.1 million
Chris Hemsworth $5.4 million
Mark Ruffalo: $2.8 million
RDJ has all that money and he's done NOTHING with it. No production company, so securing rights to amazing scripts, no franchises, nothing. I think it takes every ounce of self-control to not snort it all.
...and the other is Scarlett Johansson.
