Removed comment on /r/movies explains why the Ghostbusters reviews are so positive
Why are old films so autistic,
except Chaplin and Keaton?
They are always full of random crazy shit that makes no sense and serve no benefit for plot.
Old means pre 1960 for those of you unaware.
Well I saw L'Atalante (1934) recently and the plot was as follows: guy marries girl, and they travel on a barge. That's it. But the film is 1 hour 30 min long and it shows literal random shit throughout the whole movie. They just walk around the barge doing nothing, they touch objects you know, eat, sleep, nothing happens. L'avventura (1960) over 2 hours literally nothing happens they just walk around for 2 hours. Take any film it's the same - nothing happens except super random shit like hey...

I think the most underrated might be the small part of psychopath in Taking Lives.

Which movie has the best OST and why is it pic related?
I take two 20 to 30 minute shits a day and I want to do something a little more stimulating than just looking through my facebook. I figure short movies are a good place to start. Any suggestions? 40 minutes length tops.

I like adam driver as much as the next guy but god damn is he fucking ugly
Kudos to him for making it then. All those years of making out with Lena Dunham paid off and he's gotten his success.
And he cleans up okay. When his hair covers his ears and fucked up skin gets washed out he looks okay. His only real imperfection he can't cover is his fucked up jaw (or lack of it).
Damn right. I hate the status quo of only good looking people being allowed on screen anyway. I'm a good looking guy, and I fail to see how that's the only criteria for being the protagonist except for people being shallow fucks.
