ITT: GOAT capeshit
Tarantino is finished.
has /tv/ seen this? I couldn't bring myself to finish it after the scene where Michael flirts with the two girls in the hotel because of all the cringe.
Why does the same actor do the same voice for like six different characters? Does this movie ever get anywhere?
The stop motion is really beautiful, some animations look mocapped (like Michael smoking) and I wouldn't be surprised if they were. I normally like Kaufman but srsly wtf is this
Kaufman realized that if he had made this movie as a regular live action feature, it wouldn't have brought anything new to the table at all. His previous films all deal with similar themes of being lonely and disgruntled and frustrated and all of that typical trust fund babby shit, so by making this one a stop-motion production with an autistic level of attention to detail he dissuades criticism of not being unique.
>I normally like Kaufman but srsly wtf is this
So you were completely clear with everything happening in Synecdoche, New York but THIS is confusing you? The same voice thing is the most obvious metaphor I've ever seen in a movie.
I don't get it.
Just watched Taxi Driver (1976) for the first time, anyone know why he carve crosses into the top of his bullets? (pic related)
I think they did something similar in From Dawn Till Dusk, but that was to kill vampires, so does anyone know why he did this? Is it for show or does it somehow affect the bullet when shot?
God-tier animated shows and/or movies
>you can't discuss a television show on the board for television and film!
Thoughts? Just finished this series, I enjoyed it a lot. Not sure why it didn't take off much
only thing that bothered me is that everyone spoke english instead of going the narcos way with native language + english subs
He got old pretty fast..
I can't believe /pol/ memes are shopping /tv/ from talking about this sometimes. I mean it's no masterpiece but it's still nice. Also don't bitch about the nigger, he's played by a decent actor his boss is as white as one can get and he's pretty based.
Hate me if you will /tv/ but I really enjoyed The Force Awakens and I really couldn't give a shit if it was a rehash of the OT or if it's this huge Disney cash cow.
But I found the Nazi symbolism/Jew propaganda to be a bit too blatant. It was the only thing in the film that I felt was unnecessary and kind of stupid.
Hey anon, mind if I put on your Special Edition Phantom Menace George Lucas signed DVD?
What went right?
all of it went right, it was a work of art, flawless and perfect. revolutions by far was my favorite of the three. they're classics and by far too. they're infinitely better than that garbage the force awakens.
come, debate me, BITCHES!
So all of you are hating on Rey solely because she's an attractive girl, probably reminding you of the dream gf you never had. You don't hate on Anakin who built 3po when he was 8 yet there are at least 3 active Rey hate threads at any given time. It's clearly thinly veiled sexual frustration
Literally 'cucked' the movie.
Nigga he doesn't need no bitch to fuck he got Bubba, damn that niggas fine man, I liked the son of a bitch.
>post yfw Bubba is kill
If a meme happens in a time before memes, is it still a meme?
Objectively, yeah he was cucked. But he was too stupid to realize it, so I give him a pass. I cannot believe Jenny was written to be such a whore. Finally realized she wasn't shit.
Why is /tv/ so full of contrarians?
