I was reading a recent article on Seinfeld that was arguing that the show could not stand the test of time as a classic because younger generations would not understand a lot of the plot devices, an example being when they all get lost and separated in the parking garage.
The author argued that younger audiences wouldn't get this and not find it funny because they would be wondering where there cell phones are the entire episode.
I'm not sure how young an audience the author is talking about I'm 29 and grew up watching Seinfeld starting in grade...

I'm 29 also and I did not start watching Seinfeld until I was about 20.
I loved the show immediately. I get the same type of enjoyment out of it that I get from stuff like Married With Children and 90s Simpsons.
Ultimately, I understand where that author is coming from, but I don't think it would be that hard for younger audiences to get into, as long as they wait until they're 18 or so to start watching it.
It's just a dumb argument. im 23 and watched seinfeld for the first time in 2005 and it was hilarious. i used to watch MASH around the same time and loved that too. good comedy can survive technological advances.
>There are people on /tv/ right now that will unironically defend the prequels
>there are redditors on /tv/ now who unironically get angered by a children's film series from the early 2000's because 40 year old nerds told them to
Why does /tv/ hate Donnie Darko?
Except the fact that it's edgy.
I watched it twice in my life. I don't remember what it was about. I don't remember anything that happened in it.
I DO NOT RECALL ONE THING ABOUT THIS FUCKING MOVIE EXCEPT THE BUNNY SUIT DUDE RUNNING AROUND
Do you think they instructed her to not show her giant teeth during filming?
Was that the actresses real nude body at the end?
They had the high ground, AND had him outnumbered. How the fuck did Sheev manage to pull a victory from this?
>Not realizing that they underestimated Sheev because they had the high ground
>He spins (good trick), while also gaining the high ground at the apex of the spin, thus negating their high ground stat boost
Who are the Knights of Ren?
>mfw the first episode of lost was released 25 years ago
>first scene of the movie is a FEMALE swat agent
wow, what movies have /tv/ seen that took you out of immersion the fastest?
Post actors who instantly make any film better just for being in it.
actually annoyance of stuff like this is seeping into the average persons view now. most people fucking hate political correctness it's just the media and sjw would make you think otherwise
These niggas gay right?
It was obvious the way Finn looked at Poe before the fight
Why arent u faggots talking about this? One of the best movies of 2015 by a long way. /tv/ is becoming full of pseudo - intellectual nancy boys. Move out of your basements u filthy unwashed scum.
>Luke, did I ever tell you that force lightning can be deflected back at the user with a lightsaber?
So do not, under any circumstance, throw away your lightsaber when near Emperor Palpatine.
how is it possible for one person to be so fucking obnoxious and selfish
