Can we have and asian cinema thread?
What are you favorite recent Asian movies?
What are your all time favorite Asian movies?
Rebels of the Neon God and Peppermint Candy are my favourites
Finally got around to seeing literally Reddit: The Flick. I knew from the spoilers it would be meme but it's really something else.
I don't think there will be another movie with AI as a major feature after 2001: A Space Odyssey that isn't a pretentious neo-Luddite alarmist Redditcore motion picture.
Post exceptional action webms from this apparently exceptional action movie cause I right now I don't understand why this is supposed to be the savior of action movies
/WHO/ LIVES and neonvisual is a twat edition
Is there too much focus on the personal lives of the companions, or not enough? Do personal, including those of the Doctor, his muddled, constantly being added to past, really matter in this type of show at all?
The worst part is not how forgettably mediocre it was. The worst part is how everyone loves it.
>"So this is how Star Wars dies... with thunderous applause"
>I loved the philosophical aspects of this movie
>I turn my brain off and enjoy the popcorn for every movie :)
Why is Indian cinema so shit?
I don't want to start a race thread, but really, is there a logical reason to it? This isn't like Nigeria or whatever where they can't produce content. They make more movies than Hollywood. It's not poorness or lack of resources, because Mexico have made dozens of fantastic films. How is it statistically even possible to strike out so often?
No need for experimentation, when you also have a large poor population that just want a nice movie where everything is typically happy with romance and dancing while your own life is terrible it makes you feel better. In addition it's treated more as a profession for money rather than art for the sake of art.
So now that the dust has settled and it turned out to be great, what are you expecting from the next episode?
ITT: Post your favourite movies.
>He watches Every Frame A Painting
>I love Every Frame A Painting, it's very insightful and always teaches me new things about cinema.
What conspiracies do you actually believe?
>eyes wide shut parties with underage
Can we all at least agree that he was the best character in the movie? Even my wife's son said Finn was great because he looked his 'real daddy', and he can barely sit through most of the movies I bring him to!
How do we save the horror genre?
Understand that CG alone isn't scary.
The less you see the better, and that doesn't mean "the less you can see it, the better".
forget the 2000s happened.
Stop remaking remakes, everyone already knows their schtick so no one will be scared.
CG is a tool. When used correctly it can help make something scary.
Slapping a big CG monster isn't scary anymore, because we're used to having monsters in TV and films since the 40s.
>Literal scene of a naked white man crawling up to Sam Jackson and sucking his dick
