QOTD: it is Saturday today
"But there is no smith's forge in this Shire that could change it at all. Not even the anvils and furnaces of the Dwarves could do that. It has been said that dragon-fire could melt and consume the Rings of Power, but there is not now any dragon left on earth in which the old fire is hot enough; nor was there ever any dragon, not even Ancalagon the Black, who could have harmed the One Ring, the Ruling Ring, for that was made by Sauron himself. There is only one way: to find the Cracks of Doom in the depths of Orodruin, the Fire-mountain, and cast the Ring in there."
What's the essential Tom Cruise-core?
>Jurassic Park 1
>Park only went to shit because of Nedry's sabotage

Fucking hell, we could've had awesome dinosaur parks but assholes keep messing it up intentionally.
>we could've had awesome dinosaur parks but assholes keep messing it up intentionally.
Do you not understand the importance of a central conflict, and how having a successful park would probably not permit this? Also, how these parks are entirely fictional, and merely having an "awesome dinosaur park" which is fictional is meaningless?
To be fair. Keeping dinosaurs would probably be pretty easy all things considered and I don't think them going full rambo killing everything in their path is really a hindrance from a real life Jurassic Park forming.
my theater had a bunch of women seeing this. it pissed me off. I can't imagine that they understood what was happening, why, or what they should think about it. It would be as if I'm going to see the barbie movie.
Said the faggot posting on a taiwanese paper airplane web zone.
What do you know about being part of the greatest generation and fighting in the Pacific?

2 actors that you always get confused for one another
ITT well written female character
THE TERMS "WELL WRITTEN MALE CHARACTER", AND "WELL WRITTEN FEMALE CHARACTER", ARE OXYMORONIC; IF THE CHARACTER'S GENDER IS EMPHASIZED, ESPECIALLY IF TO THE DEGREE AT WHICH IT DETERMINES THEIR PERSONALITY, IT IS NOT A CHARACTER THAT IS WELL WRITTEN.
She's an awful person and huge slut. True to her gender.
Do we like this?
What's the most quotable movie ever?
Why does (((Hollywood))) suppress her career?
Don't worry Baywatch will make billions at the box office
So true detective is real?
What will season 3 look like under the new regime?
BILLY REDFACE IS HAVING A DAUGHTER
Why is this movie rated so poorly? I just got done watching it for the first time, this was literally on the same level as the last episode of Twin Peaks, might even be better.
Holy fuck I love this movie.
twin peaks thread
It was rated poorly because it didn't fit people's expectations from watching the TV show. But also because, let's be honest, it is extremely David Lynch, and a pretty gruelling experience - it's genius, but it's not fun to watch a girls life disintegrate and then she dies.
ACCORDING TO SOME, DAVID LYNCH WENT MISSING WITHIN HIS OWN LOWER DIGESTIVE TRACT, WHILST MAKING THIS "MOVIE".
I THINK THAT ACTUALLY, HE REVEALED HIMSELF; HE ACHIEVED FULL ARTISTIC, AND STYLISTIC, FREEDOM —EVERYTHING AFTER THIS "MOVIE" HAS BEEN "PURE LYNCH".
This is honestly one of the best trailers ever made. If the movie is as good as this trailer it's gonna be Oscar-worthy. I didn't particularly like the other Wolverine standalones but this looks like it could be incredible. Is anybody else as hyped for this as I am? https://youtu.be/G0HRx_0fimc

Interesting. I wonder if Neo will appear? And Agent Smith?
Most overrated starwars character.

what are some good documentaries on youtube?
Man S1 Dexter used to be so good, what the fuck happened?
Can we maybe agree that this is the best one?
This was pretty great
No it was not. Lazy characterization, awful pacing, tonally inconsistent writing, they tried to create a poor man's Tony Stark with the incessant quipfest, obligatory forced love interest, Dormammu was trash.
>Its a Sawyer episode
>mfw 400 post LOST thread yesterday will never happen again
Why didn't they just vote to kick Rick out?
what would happen if a visitor tried to stab another visitor not knowing that he was in fact a visitor? He would obviously not be able to shoot him, because the guns don't work on visitors, but in this case a knife could be used to stab another visitor, right? Would one of the hosts go into robocop mode and interfere?
What if
I were to post a thread on /tv/? Would it get replies? Obviously the guest would get fuckin stabbed and that would be the end of the stay for the stabber
I'm sure we'll find out.
I'm also going to take a wild guess and speculate that the park has state of the art medical facilities and any kind of life threatening injury is easily treatable. That, or the visitors sign a disclaimer knowing full well they could be injured or worse while inside the park.
I imagine they sign a shit-ton of wavers, and perhaps they only allow one guest (or a familiar group) at a time to minimize that chance. So far it seems like the hosts only intervene to save Hannibal Lecter, who knows.
