Have you ever left before finishing a movie at the theater, /tv/?
What made you leave?
Memes aside, what is the real reason did didn't any sequels? It was fully intended to have two sequels, and many of the people involved were already under contract for 2 and 3. The movie did alright in theaters (although not great) and was very acclaimed; sequels would've grossed more than the original after the original's home video release, award wins, word of mouth, etc.
Seeing has Ewan is one of the best things ever to come out those Star Wars™ movies.
You are now in charge of writing a Obi-Wan trilogy.
How would you approach this, and between which episodes would you place them?
Also pick a director while you're at it
I'm the biggest contrarian here.
The end of a regime that acquiesces to disorder. At this very moment in a system far from here, the New Republic lies to the galaxy while secretly supporting the treachery of the rogues of the Resistance. This fierce machine which you have built, upon which we stand will bring an end to the Senate, to their cherished fleet. ALL REMAINING SYSTEMS WILL BOW TO THE FIRST ORDER AND WILL REMEMBER THIS AS THE LAST DAY OF THE REPUBLIC!!!
I live in Manchester near something called Media City (other Brits will know). There also a university where most people working for the BBC in the North usually get their formal training.
I have a degree in English and I want to work for the BBC, but I don't know how to get myself in there. I don't even know what career paths are there other than writer, producer and technical staff (camera men, sound engineers, etc.) I would like to do something related to my degree even if I have to take an MA at that uni.
Are Miyazaki movies really that good? Where do they stand in comparison to the Pixar classics?
They are shit. People like them because they lack imagination. The pacing is always off and the artistry underwhelming. Character development is nonexistent. There are no real life parables outside of tragedy. They hold no purpose besides escapism, and for that reason the sense of escapism is dampened.
>instead of Kyle Katarn stealing the Death Star plans it's now a multicultural cast led by a woman
Why the fuck is everyone being so nitpicky? You can't suspend disbelief for a fairy tale about space wizards? Cinema sins has ruined film criticism; people care more about the internal logic of a film than basic storytelling competence.
Autists being autists, people know that star wars fans REALLY love star wars, so they get a kick out of nitpicking every last detail out of the new film as it will make people mad.
Thank you! I fucking hate people quoting Cinema Sins like its a legitimate review of the film. They always do it withmsuch a smug look as well, like they came up with it.
Fuck Cinema Sins.
Actors who are familiar to you but you would have to google their name.
probably "gabe from the office"
pic related, i'm sure he has a name but he's always just "red forman" to me and "also he was on an episode of star trek too wasn't he?"
TFA beating Avatar would be a travesty and you all know it.
Its more than just a helmet. It has the voice thingy and I would guess scanners or some shit in the visor.
So it would probably be part they needed to make space for, or possible a vent.
But really, its just to look cooler.
Is Mark a cunt for this?
What's the best found footage film you're ever seen?
So now that the showrunner has literally said the entire season was a metaphor for Gamer Gate how do you feel about Jessica Jones?
