There's a strange anon in my bedroom Edition
Series 2-4 is still pigshit
>implied complex past involving Luke as a child
>discovers force sensitivity and develops skill much like Luke and Snikin (likely her relatives
>light saber flies to her instead of Kylo as force theme plays and the whole theater tears up with emotion
ITT we talk about how Rey is actually an intriguing character with a mysterious and complex past
Those things do not a good character make. While I think the cries of Mary Sue are entirely unfounded, I can't deny that the ease with which everything thing came to her somewhat off-putting, and in stark contrast to Finn who basically did nothing BUT stumble. I can only hope that it's a thread intended to hook in and play off of Kylo's arc throughout the sequels, but I hesitate to call her a good character yet.
That said, I enjoyed Ridley's performance and I am intrigued to learn more. Hopefully the next movie really puts her through the paces.
Did they fucking blow up coruscant?
What the fuck was that?
This death star 3.0 thing was the most retarded iteration yet.
>Hey you, turn off the shield
And who installed that shitty walk way with no guard rails where the big plot twist takes place? Why would you do that?
This movie seriously pissed me off and I was not feeling the bern at all while watching it.
>death star didn't work
>sheev: Lets have another
>second death start gets BTFO
>remnant: Guys I have a great idea, how about a death star
>remnant #2: No no no, you have it all wrong, this one will be a Star of Death
>Braga when writing Janeway
>"Let's make a strong female character that isn't just an action hero with breasts, doesn't rely on sex-appeal, uses her brain, can talk or shoot her way out of a nasty situation and stands for values other than 'grrl power'!"
>Braga when writing Seven
>"I'M HORNY, PUT HER IN A CATSUIT AND GIVE HER AS MANY SEXUAL INNUENDOS AS POSSIBLE!"
This man was trusted with Star...

Braga would be better than Kurtzman, and I don't say that lightly
The new series will have strong women for sure, I just hope they write them half as well as the best trekfu
>appears 10 times
>quickly disappears in a cheap sendoff because the actress was not interested in DS9
We get it, she makes your dick hard, that doesn't make her the best thing ever.
I don't watch a lot of shows and TV, who exactly is that Kurtzman and what's wrong with him?
Have you ever had a bad time at the movies?
Who hyped for 2015 Wipe?
Galaxy Quest is better than all of Star Trek.
Prove me wrong.
Let me tell you why I fucking had the worst time at this movie.
>Younger Brother is a film studies major
>Hangs around with a bunch of film student hipsters
>They all want to go see Hateful Eight in 70mm
>Nearest Theater that has it is 2 hours away (They refuse to go see it unless it in 70mm)
>They decide to go see it together at 11:00 am, the earliest showing

>i didnt like it because cinephiles liked it
that is pretty obnoxious, though. my theater was laughing during the BIG, WARM, DINGUS scene, which was kinda funny but also pretty horrifying. The only time someone says "nigger" in the movie and its funny is when it's the first thing daisy says
>Military historian and author Stephen Ambrose, at a special screening of the film for him, had to ask for the screening to be halted 20 minutes in as he couldn't handle the intensity of the opening. After composing himself outside for a few minutes, he was able to return to the screening room and watch the film to its conclusion.
Is there a more based war movie in existence?
>The Omaha Beach battle was filmed in sequence over a four-week period, moving the action up the beach shot by shot and day by day. Steven Spielberg claims that none of it was storyboarded in advance.
>In the German-dubbed version of the movie, one of the actors, himself a German veteran of the Normandy invasion, couldn't deal with emotional realism of the film and dropped out and had to be replaced.
>mfw I have no pics related
So was he guilty?
>Luke just so happens to dump his daughter on the same planet where the Millennium Falcon eventually winds up
Wait, what the fuck? I can ignore a lot of bullshit... but that's just preposterous. How fucking small is this "galaxy" anyway?
This is unforgivable.
What the fuck is going on with the writers of eastenders?
You let the demon child get away scotfree but you
kill fatboyinstead of vincent because ronnie 'screwed up'? Fatboy was consistently one of the better characters of eastenders since he was introduced, and now you killed him?
Fuck this man, I'm visually perturbed.
i don't care until grant comes back
how is the boycott going?
Which transgressive movies would you recommend? I've seen Pink Flamingos, the Troma stuff, and I like Drawn Together.
Which transgressive movies do you recommend? Remember, I wanna be seriously offended. Gimme your most offensive recommendations!

Men Behind the Sun
the most fucked up movie I ever saw though is called 'Night of the Demon,' from 1980. Not the 50's one, not "Night of the Demon*S*". I never knew I'd be offended by bigfoot committing a rape
Tomboy and Ma Vie en Rose might annoy someone from /pol/ so watch them.
priscilla queen of the desert
Think that Gapard Noe film Love has a transsexual in it
Ask lgbt they will watch them more than us.
