I just saw Episode VII for the second time and it was even worse than I thought it originally was. Long story short, my mom wanted to see the new Star Wars, so I went to the movie theater with her.
The opening credits said "from the ashes of the Empire, the FIRST ORDER was created", but it didn't explain what the hell is going on with the galaxy. What's the dynamic of power now? We know there's the Republic, we know there's the First Order and we know there's the Resistance, but how do they relate with each other? Isn't the First...

Who gives a fuck about the details and the politics of the galaxy, though? These films are supposed to be fun adventures with a bit of focus on character drama. I'm not going to pretend it was perfect but it was a fun, fast-paced, well acted and exciting film, and that's all it really needed to be.
>"No more training do you require. Already know you, that which you need."
Luke left in the middle of his training, against Yoda's advice, and didn't come back until three years later. When he came back Yoda told him his training is complete.
So why is it unacceptable for someone to learn the force through little-to-no training, again? It's like you guys suddenly forgot the magic of the force and how it works. It's not some rigorous school training program, it's a belief system based on spirituality and self-consciousness. The idea that you need to go to school to become a jedi is a shitty prequel concept. To become a jedi you need to resist doubt and temptation and anger, to relax and feel the force. You know, like exactly what happened in TFA.
There's a difference between little to no training and just hearing the word "the force" a couple of times.
The only advice the girl had was just close your eyes and feel it lol just feel it lol and she immediately knew how to do advance jedi mind bending and resist one of the most powerful force user in the entire galaxy.
>JJ moved the capital of the Republic that was destroyed to some literal who planet just so they wouldn't have to show Coruscant and trigger Reddit's prequel PTSD
I didn't even know those planets were supposed to be the Republic until the Republic has been declared annihilated. A+ for completely sweeping the existence of the Republic under the rug until five seconds before it exploded.
Is the season 5 finale the worst one yet? I just caught up on everything, and I was absolutely amazed at how bad the directors directed the season 5 finale.
Stannis is supposed to be a master tactician. How the fuck could he not realize that publicly lighting his young daughter on fire would make him look weak? He should have known his sell swords would abandon him after that. Also, why is he even ok with it in the first place? And marching on Winterfell at half contingent? What a massive let down.
I thought that Jon Snow's death was inevitable, but he literally knew someone would mutiny. Why did he just waltz stupidly into his death? And how convenient that Melisandre, one of the two people in Westeros who can resurrect a dead person, showed up the night of his death. I honestly hope he stays dead because if they resurrect him thats walking dead tier retarded.
Why did Jamie and that other guy let Oberyn Martell's wife kiss his daughter? I knew it was poison the second it happened, and everyone knew that those cunts were masters of poison so why did the king allow her near Jamie's daughter? Also, why was Ellaria not executed? She tried to kill Marcella and the prince.
TLDR they conveyed zero emotion in this episode. Everything felt rushed and there was too much stuff going on. I'm not even going to mention what happened to Sansa because that was a bad move by the directors overall.
Also they made the dragon look like a bitch. How could a dragon get severely injured by like six people throwing javelins?
>and that other guy let Oberyn Martell's wife kiss his daughter? I knew it was poison the second it happened, and everyone knew that those cunts were masters of poison so why did the king allow her near Jamie's daughter?
Damn, you dumb.... Doran Martell actually tell her to not fuck it up (when she kiss his hand) why do you think she fucking cries? because he let her live?. Re-watch the Dorne scenes and tell me he didn't want to fuck the Lannisters up. ''I...

Decent show. Producers made a mistake releasing 4 episodes online? Ratings are in the tank and now their are rumors of cancelation
SyFy doesn't know know they have a good show on their hands even if Scorscese handed them his lifetime achievement oscar and said they made some good shit
SyFy would just be like 'eh, we dunno. let's renew HELIX instead'
>Hamill will never invite you to suck his dick
>black guy is the heavy weapons guy
the look in his eye, you just KNOW
>that one guy at the theater who asks for an extra side of butter with his popcorn
none of you SERIOUSLY do this right?
i work at a theater concession stand and always kek when some lardass gets the bucket and needs extra butter to dip in
>not bringing your own salted Lurpak to the cinema
>putting butter on your popcorn
>taking your socks off before going to bed
Watching the original 3 and heres my theory. Han Solo saved Luke 2x. Once when he almost froze to death on Hoth and the other when Luke fought Vader and was hanging for dear life. Luke has saved Han from the carbonite freezer(similar to Han saving Luke from freezing on Hoth). So in SWTFA Han is falling down and its assumed hes dead. Leia is seen crying but that could also be because she thinks Kylo cant be saved. I think Luke saved Han somehow and Han was also on that island at the end.
TELL THAT TO KANJIKLUB
So what would you rate Tarantino's eighth movie?
Any things you noticed or connections?
Was 70mm worth it?
What's wrong with this guy? Was does Doug feel the need to force these shitty "comedy" skits into his "reviews"?
HOLY FUCKING SHIT IT'S HAPPENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
>tfw you were born in the right generation
All these plebs from previous decades who couldn't properly experience classic films that were recovered/remastered/restored in the 2010s.
