Have you finished all your
Holidayshopping this year?
yfw you realize x-mas eve is tomorrow and you haven't bought any gifts yet.
>we only have $30 left in our budget for your costume
He just can't catch a break.
Binging through some while im away from uni, do you guys know if this is any good?
Also if you got any recs, I'd love to hear some. Doesn't atter the genre or personal taste right now, just looking for more stuff to watch.
Both, actually. It's a little weird with it's world-building and that takes a while to get used to, but the fights are fucking insane and the story's pretty interesting once it gets going.
I'm on the last episode now.
Is he the best actor of his generation?
Does MAx Landis have no shame, bringing up Hateful Eight when his dad killed its star's father Vic Morrow.
DR. FINN, I'M TR-8R
Does the Big Short tell the truth that the financial crisis is not because of the banks fault but the retarded poor people who didnt read the contracts?
The retarded poor ultimately made the choice that got them into that predicament
But it was the financiers, who knew better, and still offered this shit anyway, who enabled it, and are culpable as well
And yet, the same people calling for the bankers heads will complain endlessly about the redlining of the 60's/70's
Speculation thread as to what the Knights of Ren are. I wish they had expanded on it more in the movie.
This is a good sign. One of the best things about the OT was how poorly explained some things were. It just threw you into things assuming you already knew everything about the universe and hoped you could keep up. This led to a lot of interesting fan speculation back in the day.
The Knights of Ren are a group of young men who formed in the aftermath of the Empire's destruction. Most of them are orphans, space rats, wanderers who have joined smuggling crews and sought after historical artifacts.
They don't have a leader until they meet a young Jedi initiate named Ben Solo who is undergoing his Jedi trials. Luke sent him to a world that was rich with Jedi history in search of a holocron. But Luke never told Ben about the truth of his lineage, and this will forever haunt him.
Solo is searching the ruins of the world in question...

The Knights of ren are led by Darth plagius (snoke). Plagius was palpatines master, which is why he looks so deformed from his botched assassination attempt. Rey used to be one of the sith and was mind wiped and dropped off on the totally not Tatooine planet of Jakku, after she went full an akin and murdered the new batch of young padawans (as hinted in her flashback). That's why luke went into hiding. His main apprentice was his daughter, Rey, and she betrayed him to the dark side (at the behest of snoke/plagius) and he needed time to meditate.
Is Sheev the happiest character in the Star Wars franchise?
Just to switch up from Star Wars threads can we get a top film of 2015 thread going
How butthurt are the Star Trek fags about this new trailer?
This is literally one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. That ending gave me goose bumps.
When I went to see it the whole theatre was silent the whole movie. Absolute respect for this masterpiece.
>kids/teenagers are breaking the rules in a late 90's-early 2000's movie
>AND I DON'T GIVE A DAMN BOUT MY BAD REPUTATION
