>In the increasingly cookie-cutter realm of Marvel comic book movies, a little strange goes a long way.
>Yeah, we all know Marvel is formulaic and boring, but this one is good. I swear.
Why are critics pretending like they don't routinely bend over and spread 'em for the big black Mouse cock? Do they think we're goldfish who don't remember that they heap praise on every almost modern Disney release?
You're at Blockbuster, checking out movies and old video games, when this dude slaps your ass with his baseball bat. What do you do?
Drop my gym shorts do a handstand and blow shart all over his baseball bat and face and the cashier, then I go home to talk about how brilliant Death to Smoochy was. Absolutely hilarious movie, even Jon Stewart was good in it.
I kneel and say "my property now belongs to Negan" I'd rather get taken by ISIS or the spic cartels than go through his taunting
Why hasn't CGI been topped since this?
What the fuck is her problem now?
>Allowed to show zombies ripping off peoples flesh, biting their throats etc.
> Shows people getting shot to death
> Shows to back to back, EXTREMELY violent, realistic scenes of beloved characters getting their skulls bashed in.
> But no fucks are allowed
TV-MA should be the equivalent of R but it's not I guess. Though other shows rated MA don't have any issues with swearing or even nudity. It's entirely an issue with AMC. I think Breaking Bad had a few F bombs but they were bleeped out on TV, and I remember them being bleeped out in the downloads I found which I think were DVD/bluray rips too.
Holy shit Rick got actually got Reeked.
>when you're watching a movie and there are no "bad guys"
>when you're watching a movie and there are no "good guys"
Blue is a fucking GIRL?
>watch film widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time
>bored to absolute death
>find the characters completely inscrutable, unlikeable, obnoxious and unrelatable, can't understand what's going through their heads
every goddamn time
should I just give up trying? how can I be missing what everyone else sees?
no, it's the one with the boring people in italy who are on a boat trip, go visit an island and this one dickhead's lolsorandumb fiancé disappears
he ends up
banging her best friend and then cheating on her with some hooker
ITT: Villains who did nothing wrong
When did the staff at IGN become such triggered fags?
His reason is dumb, but I would say it was also an okay episode.
The pacing was off, Negan trying to make Rick chop off Carl's arm just felt needless and forced.
So was the two head boppers, Abe's in the end felt more saddening, you saw how he was reacting to him being chosen, then he just quickly does Glenn, probably should have done it in reverse.
What the fuck was this shit?
How did they know he would jump off that side of the building or he wouldn't blow his own brains out with that gun? This has to be one of the dumbest endings to a movie ever.
I swear whenever I see a list of movies with "great" twists in them this is always at the top. I do not know how people did not see the twist coming. It was clearly obvious that nothing was as it seemed to be.
What went wrong?
Are there any movies that depict Earth with its true shape?
What's /tv/'s opinion on Luther? I'm on episode 5 of series 1 so far.
I'm glad someone said it.
Your thoughts about this film? I never watched it but heard about it
Hack or misunderstood genius?
What did /tv think of this? Not what I was expecting at all. One guy actually walked out of the theater.
Its pretty sad that the 2014 one surpassed this one. That's what happens when you put the insane evangelion creator as writer and director. That and recycled anime music from the 90s in a big budget movie
>You know anybody who can network 8 connection machines and debug 2 million lines of code for what I bid for this job? Because if he can I'd like to see him try.
I'm not very tech savvy, is this impressive by real-life IT standards?
You could of hired some code monkeys from MIT to do it cheaper
Maybe its time to put down the Chili and Sea Base and do some work you fat fuck so the dinosaurs won't fuck up your shit when you try and steal that mosquito stuck in honey
Let's get it again.
Pic related is Inside Men, a political thriller with Lee Byung-hun in it. Slick big-budget production.
I watch a lot of Korean movies.
Here is a good one, did really well, very famous.
The Chaser. Thriller/Horror/Crime kinda film inspired off real events. Fucking must watch.
(Full movie on Youtube with Subtitles and good quality on Youtube if anyone wants to watch it.
what did /tv/ think of tonights episode?
A very nice one. But man, my stomach isn't the same it used to be. I might be getting old, I had to look away a few times.
That notwithstanding, I'm really liking this second season. Lucy Lawless gets more screen time and she's great. Chet is a total bro. Pablo and Kelly were constant good last season and this one too. It's one of my favorite series right now.
Both William and Dolores will end up saving this asshole.
Episode 5 will be promising.
And /ourguy/ Teddy will be back but with Ford this time.
Also how long until /ourcouple/ Billy and Dolores fuck?
FINE DAY, SUNDAY.
Do you know why that is, /tv/?
How much power did he have again?
I won't deny that in recent years SP has become ever more hit and miss, but fuckdamnit they hit the head on the nail with this.
I can't be the only one who is constantly reminded of the memberberries everytime I read about all that nostalgia crap being marketed. It felt forced when I first saw it on SP, but it just stuck because how fucking true it is.

Nostalgia has always been around in some form or another. In the 1930's it was
>'member the old south
>'member the gay 90's
>'member Gilbert and Sullivan
later in the 1960's-70's it was all like
>'member the 50's
>'member no hippies
>'member murrica winning the war

>watching british crime show
>they call guns "rooty tooty point and shootys"
Jesus, did Ted Kaczynski write this? How come almost every piece of media has this cynical view of technology now?
>inb4 but Twilight Zone had Willoughby and Where is everybody
Yeah, but "evil technology" didn't compromise most of their episodes and some of their episodes about technology still had an optimistic and quasi-charming view of it, like The Mighty Casey and Rip van Winkle Caper.
Is it a reach to say that most media about technology in the future these days is dystopian or is it just hindsight bias?
>implying Ted Kaczynski was wrong
Technology is great, for things like space exploration, solving crimes, curing diseases, saving extinct species, etc. It's fucking stupid to take selfies and post about how you're gonna change the world with your Women's Studies degree. Porn sites are a waste of time and resources. I could say the same thing for this place if it weren't for the cultural impact it has.
ITT post characters that are literally you. I'll start:
Pic related, I am an alpha male leader, with a wicked sense of humour, but if you cross me then dear god you are in trouble!
You and me both
My nicest guy you'll ever meet side doesn't like it when I become a twisted fucking psychopath but once I transform I start laughing uncontrollably because my twisted side thinks it's funny
>just started reading The Hobbit
>everything is well explained and straight to the point
How did they make three movies out of this shit?
Also the descriptions of the dwarves and Bilbo don't match the movie and Thorin war far more grim in the movie
What the fuck
