It is 1977.
Star Wars has exceeded all expectations for George Lucas that he decides to write a sequel.
What would /tv/ have to say about such a sequel if this board were around in 1977?
Admit it, he wasn't as bad as we all thought he would be.
Sorry based Boyega
Give me one good reason why this isn't the greatest piece of filmmaking the world has ever seen.
How would you react if you won a major /tv/-related award?
"The fuck am I receiving this for?"
Walk off the stage, confused and holding some fucking statuette
Is it me or does he look like an ape?
>Ray is such a Mary Sue! She can do anything just cause!
>What? Boba Fett? I love him! Mandolorians are such badasses!
Don't get me wrong, Rey is a Mary Sue of the highest degree, but this is a fanbase that constantly sucks the cocks of an entire race of people who can kick anyones ass ever just because "lol Mandos" and has done for well over two decades.
If she were Sheev's grandaughter it completely change my perspective on her shitty Mary Sue character 180 degrees.
It makes so much sense they almost have to do it but they won't because muh' tweests.
Why are so many Sci-Fi TV shows so mediocre? Like, you get hooked on because of the general idea, the concept, or the source material, but the series end up being meh 3/5? Almost Human, Dark Matter, The Expanse, The 100 all suffer from this.
DARTH VADER IS LUKE'S FATHER
That speech was simply epic! one of the best parts imho.
What does tv think of Rick and Morty? I feel it's the Undertale of cartoons: generally pretty good with some noticeably less good parts, the social commentary can feel a little too heavy-handed and euphoric, and the fanbase is so retarded it turns people away making it into "Reddit: the cartoon"
Meh it's a cartoon basically for stoners and teens. It does have some good elements, but it's nowhere near as funny or creative as I was led to believe. Not a bad cartoon/show but any mention of it here will simply result into reddit obsession.
Will she become a good guy, just like Finn did? I'd imagine that the entire First Order is after her head after she simply lowered the Starkiller shields instead of fighting to the death.
What is the best Christmas movie ever made?
Why can't people get over the fact that the EU is fucking dead?
Can't just people be glad that Mouse killed 3 decades of utter bullshit? The books are bad, the comics are bad. Everything is just bad, really bad fan fiction.
What good we got out of it? Knights of the old republic, back in the days that bioware wasn't shit? And even that they've ruined.
This is not a film, this is not a movie, it's not even a flick or kino or cinema.
This is a Product.
so a movie
Film vs Movie vs Cinema is real, but kino, fllick, etc were added by tasteless drones that were made insecure by this whole thing.
“A movie is made for an audience and a film is made for both the audience and the filmmakers. I think that The Game is a movie and I think Fight Club‘s a film. I think that Fight Club is more than the sum of its parts, whereas Panic Room is the sum of its parts. I didn’t look at Panic Room and think: Wow, this is gonna set the world on fire. These are footnote movies, guilty pleasure movies. Thrillers. Woman-trapped-in-a-house...
