WTF? They totally ruined it. These two words make the prequels canon. These two fucking words make midichlorians, Jar Jar and Anakin canon.
You had one job Disney...
The execution was retarded but there's no reason to erase the prequels from existence
Outside of midochlorians, which I'm gonna assume is just some primitive misconception from the age of the Republic
>tfw found a decent camrip of TFA
i've watched TFA 5 times today
What do you think Vader used to look like before he got disfigured?
He could have started as disfigured, imagine Obi-wan finds a little salve boy with only one arm, and is good with the force, but of course already has anexity with his disability.
As the movies move on he gets more and more disfigured in the war.
They could have played on his struggle with the dark side, as he sees himself less and less human, etc. Like when in ep.6 Luke looks at his robot hand and realises he could easily become like Vader.
why do flickmakers INSISTS on using full CGI characters?
After I don't know? 30 plus years of CGI is still look like shit.
Those were the two best looking ones though. Maz was the perfect successor to Yoda, while Snoke was legitimately terrifying and menacing.
The only bad CGI aliens were the tentacle monsters.
>ran and yojimbo both dropped out of the imdb top 100 for literal dogshit like batman and guardians of the galaxy
ITT: Say something you liked about the prequels
So, why not "Darth Kylo"?
Because the Sith have been wiped out in canon (although EUfags will whine about it) and replaced with Knights of Ren.
They don't need the Sith, they are going the OT route, of just using "dark side" anyway.
because he's a bitch tier sith. Snoke's actual apprentice is going to be revealed in the next film which will stir up inner conflict because Han told him he was disposable.
then in the final film he'll sacrifice himself destroying said apprentice thus redeeming himself.
Haven't seen one of these threads on /tv/
Post at least three (3) scenes from TFA that might become iconic (or memetic) at some point in the future.
you really can't
Poe and Finn's escape from the Star Destroyer was a lot of fun and was the point where I REALLY started getting into the characters and plot.
Kylo Ren's mental showdown with Rey marks the point where he really starts breaking down emotionally and where she accepts her Force abilities for the first time.
And then Kylo Ren's meeting with Han on the bridge and him going full blown Dark Side.
Now that the dust etc. Let's get hyped.
They're apparently going to CG The Moff, Avatar style
dead gen edition
>The popular reviews on the front page
Why is it always the same review of "I LAUGHED I CRIED I RAGED I FELT LIFE FUCK EVERYONE IT'S PERFECT" by the same three people?
It's a little embarrassing and puts a sort of stigma on Letterboxd reviewers; they shit their pants at anything with insane amounts of CGI and rehashed characters
>isn't even beating Jurassic World's daily box office numbers
>people thought it would beat Avatar
>Isn't even beating Jurassic World's daily box office numbers
But aren't Jurassic World's box office numbers fucking ridiculously massive?
Hardly a failure if its still getting up there.
Besides, star wars has much more merchandise potential. Its all to sell toys senpai
Time for a "favorite lines" thread. No TRAITORRRR please, we all already love that
"So who talks first? Do I talk first or do you talk first?"
Since when did /tv/ get so rampantly invaded by Disney shills?
>X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Is there anything this man can do?
