I thought this movie was going to have C-wings and J-wings and shit. Instead we get JUST x-wings and TIE fighters...?
Sorry for yet another star wars thread... but not sorry.
havent seen it yet, was Phasma in it much? was she cool as fuck or shit? i dig the chrome trooper look.
who was lupita nyongo (no idea how to spell her name) playing? she was all cgi right? was she recognizable?
i dont give a shit about spoilers, tell me all the juice.
Phasma only got a little bit of screen time and she's shit.
They hold a gun to her head to lower the shield around the death star and she just does it, knowing that they could destroy the entire station. She hardly even complains about it except to say that a whole squad of storm troopers will come and kill them to turn the shield back on, which they don't. Also they can't turn the shield back on from any other part of the station because bad writing.
Lupita was also bad, just a glib fascimile of Yoda without being a bad ass to back it up.
>luke skywalker has to hone his power throughout 3 movies to even get to a level where he can duel a sith
>rey gets enough power in 15 minutes to out-duel and out-force pull kylo ren\ who has been training for 20+ years
how can anybody defend that mary sue
Kylo Ren isn't even that strong, that's the whole point of his character. You're supposed to think he's strong and intimidating in the beginning of the movie, when in reality he's weak as fuck and just has bursts of rage that come off as powerful, lacking in focus
So I told Carrie to bring her dog to the show, she actually did it the absolute madman.
I'm 40 minutes in. When does it gets fun? Do you need to be a "le 80s kid" to enjoy this movie?
Is it safe to skip to the last episode after the big reveal in season 2?
Okay, /tv/. WHAT WAS IT?
>a threat of violence
the part where rey is repairing the falcon
the part where finn begs it to help him bluff rey that hes part of the resistance
finn flashes him a thumbs up after and it gave him a middle finger
>im not calling bb8 a she, droids are genderless
>character wearing a suit with a hardhat while inspecting a construction site/oil rig
Do Americans really do this?
How come there isn't a Counter Strike adaptation already?
>Most known shooter
>Iconic set pieces, Italy, Dust, Aztec, Inferno
They could easily make it exactly like Raid or Swat. It would be recognized as the best vidya adaptation. Why isn't Hollywood cashing it already?
you've gone full retarded
Have any shootings happened yet? No habbeding?
So obviously, not as good as Eps. 4-6. Real question is, is it worse than any of the Prequels?
I say no, but it's closer to that latter pack than the former.
where does 7 fit into your rankings?
so it was a middle finger right?
Oh geez, I can't believe a fatal design false found its way into our super humongous planet destroying base! Whoops! lol
This is literally our third time building one of these things after the rebels blew up its two predecessors and we should really know better but let's just make it EXACTLY THE SAME, but bigger!
There was no design flaw. They were first infiltrated and turned off the shields, and then they had to blow shit up from the inside in order to even attack it.
Stop posting shit out of your ass.
>being this desperate to like the movie
The Death Star also had shields. Are you seriously arguing that a backpack full of well placed grenades should be enough to weaken a base 100 times bigger than the Death Star? A central weak point where they could attack? That's called a design flaw, dumbfuck.
>go to theater
>line is long as shit, as expected
>some cuck pulled a fire alarm or called in a bomb threat, all movie start times now delayed for 1+ hour
This was regal majestic in silver spring, maryland so if it was a bomb threat I'd imagine it might make the news.
But Fuck that. I ain't standing in no fucking line for more than 10 minutes for this nerd shit. I'm literally on my way home right now.
How was your experience? Any spaghetti?
Waited in line for 0 seconds by going to a morning screening. There were maybe 20 people in the theater. Still, $12 for a 3D movie is a bit much, I kinda wish I waited for the cheap seats.
Why do you never or rarely ever go see movies at movie theaters? Crazy costs nowadays? Annoying People? Little/No friends and you don't wanna go alone? Just not ever in a hurry? Nearest theater is pretty far to get travel to? Just like being cozy in your own little awesome home theater setup at home or even just your comfy room with the basic small tv/monitor?
Are theaters really dying or is that a myth because I mean I rarely do it myself.
The constant commercials while I'm at the theater. They play commercials if you're early, the previews are basically glorified commercials, and then they have ads and shit everywhere. They might as well pay me to go at this point.
