I just watched Harry Brown (2009), mostly because it had Michael Caine and David Bradley in it. However, one thing really struck me: all the bad guys in the film are white and it supposedly takes place in one of the gang-afflicted suburbs of London. What's up with that?
Because the last thing you're going to do as a white person is move into a tenement building full of niggers.
You're going to move into a tenement building full of chavs and hope they don't stop/rob your ass because they're just as shitty as niggers with an even less intelligible concept of """""""""English""""""""" .
About to watch Imperium, what am I in for anons?
itt scenes that made you really excited when you watched them in theaters.
How the fuck are humans and mutants supposed to co-exist exactly? Magneto is right and Charles is a cuck for humans
did you like any of these movies and will you watch the 5th? has the bar ever been so low for a sequel?
don't think I can handle the 5th because they filmed it when Depp looked his absolute worst, just look at set photos, he's really bloated in body and face. it's a shame because he looks healthy these days and was looking healthy a few months before filming.
Who /hype/ here? I just hope it will be better than GoT which turned to shit. Im looking forward to Ed harris the most.
"How's about THAT"
The futuristic new meme for /tv/
Is this kino?
>Simpson jokes you never got
Is Kanye the greatest filmmaker of this generation so far?
>that friend who thought Elliot was superior to Carla
Did you guys have any stupid friends like this?
The last time I had a friend was probably when Scrubs was on the air
Carla was the single worst thing about Scrubs, she even made Turk seem more shitty sometimes.
>It's a Carla episode
>It's a Carla's family episode
>It's a Carla and Turk relationship episode
Now that the dust has settled, we can all agree that this was a piece of shit and a huge disappointment, right?
Yeah it is. I just watched it.
It was fine. There were some moments I laughed, but in the main it was just fine.
It's difficult to be controversial about this new fi;m, partly because it's not a finished trilogy, and partly because it's not an absolute disaster like the prequels and TNG movies were.
Sum up the summer movie season in three words.
Would you press it?
Does /tv/ like Scrubs?
What went wrong, /tv/?
It's obvious Luke Cage's not aimed for international audience because most people don't know shit about basketball, black idols and Blaxploitation films. So when I talk about this show there will be things that I'll miss. But I want to learn aimed audiences thoughts, did you like it?Do you think it portrayed Harlem as it is?
HOLY SHIT LUKE CAGE'S DEAD WIFE IS SO BEAUTIFUL.PROBABLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BLACK I'VE EVER SEEN.I WANT TO MARRY HER.
I'm not black but I've seen every episode of Chappelle's Show and my favorite album is Enter the Wu-Tang so I'm qualified to speak on behalf of black people.
Yeah it's pretty good.
If I'd let something like this die, I'd probably kill myself too.Name's Parisa Fitz-Henley.
What was his fucking problem?
>FINALLY SOMEONE LET ME OUT OF MY CAGE
it's pure Italiakino
10/10 would recommend
Can't wait for season3
and Cero did literally nothing wrong.
I'm glad I'm not the only one on this board who just got done watching this show.
>tfw was actually kind of rooting for Genny
Also I find it funny as a fan of The Sopranos how much they say "ohhh" and "madonne"
Times a movie made you throw something at your tv.
>Heat seeking doesn't work, he's colder than the buildings around him
>A literal nuclear powered dinosaur is colder than office buildings
I'm working my way down the list of /tv/ recommended show and I'm having a hard time deciding the next one I watch
I've narrowed it down to two shows: Rome and Deadwood
What say you, /tv/?
watch Deadwood first, because when you watch Rome, you're gonna get really stoked on the Romans and you're gonna want to watch Spartacus and Julius Caesar and movies on the Roman emperors. Basically, you're never gonna get to watching Deadwood.
2. Rome and other Rome related media
What does /tv/ think of the Eric Andre show?
Pure shit unfunny unless your an edgy 17 year old.
Sam hyde is better
He should've directed Luke Cage. Quape-Quino.
I liked it back when Michael Myers was just some insane person who picked some kids to kill for no reason. That's extra scary, because it's just a person who isn't right. It's not super natural, there's no actual storyline pushing motivation, it's just horrifying that this guy is going to kill you.
Who is your favorite "slasher villain" ?
I know what you mean. Especially the intro to the first film when he kills his sister.
Rob Zombie's Halloween films totally ruin this. They give him a generic "bad household — edgy child" explanation why he turned out the way he did and it completely ruins it.
The paranormal stuff on the old Michael Myers is he was born to kill people with absolutly no reasons.
according to some dialogues on the film, is because "the pure evil" could spawn on some human being randomly or some shit like that.
Oh, I took it as the Dr. Loomis being dramatic and poetic rather than literal evil being spawned. Like he didn't appreciate a person can be fucked up from birth and it isn't for a romantic reason like it makes a good story
How was Shelob able to sting Frodo when he was wearing his Mithril vest? His vest was very finely woven and her stinger was huge, it wouldn't have gotten between the links.
so many people love Fight Club. Why? What is good about it and the things it says? What does it actually say, in your opinion?
The film's essentially about not being a slave to the government, being unique, not listening to scoiety, and launching terrorist attacks against major cities in an effort to destroy the world economy.
>Why should I trust you?
>Because if you don't...you'll doe
