>Read about Korgoth of Barbaria
>People go on and on about how "it's a shame it was never picked up"
>Finally decide to check it out
>mfw it's another lame "SERIOUS BUT TOTALLY NOT LE SERIOUS BECAUSE IT'S LE FUNNY" shitshow like Archer or Venture Bros or Rick & Morty
Is this honestly the best American animation can produce? Poop jokes and violence?
I'm glad this shit was never picked up, it's...

ITT: dated episodes
pic related. Im pretty sure no one even remembers Korn exist, let alone think they are "cool" enough to pass for an ironic cheesy scooby doo parody
ITT characters that did nothing wrong
>he took my hand and he put it on himself and I screamed... because he had a clothespin on him
what did she mean by this?
...ended up a disappointment.
Any films that you thought were going to be a great prospect - a director/actor pairing, an adaptation/director pairing etc - but didn't meet your expectations.
For me, The Hobbit movies. Still can't believe how shitty they were considering the talent involved.
Can somebody explain why Jupiter is on the Seinfeld logo?
Looks like a normie movie with some quirkiness shoved in there. But I'll watch it for based Elle.
>ywn watch The Neon Demon for the first time again
So how did Bane eat? And dont even say IV drip or fluids only because theres no way he could get to be such a big guy without eating tons of carbs and protein.
How can DC cucks even compete?
Up...up..AND-ah fuck it Ive reduced to capeshit
What does /TV/ think of pain and gain? Is it kino?
So, MOTY so far?
Pic related for me
What the fuck did i just watch?
ITT: Best Jackie Chan films
About to watch The Nice Guys
What should I expect?
Now that the dust has settled, which one is Our Guy?
> i know superman
what did he mean by this?
The original idea, JD was going to have a "Friend" he talked to on the phone that no one saw.
It would be revealed in the finale that JD as a child was saved by superman and they talk on the phone all the time.
The idea was considered too "Out there" for the show so the creators compromised with the opening song.
>What can i expect /tv/?
Donald Glover did a great job here. Why isn't this being discussed?
Is this the best Marvel movie of all time?
"You can't have knowledge without power, because knowledge IS power, that's an oxymoron."
Feels really true in the information age where people might feel powerless despite so much knowledge of how shitty the world is. The game has just changed and the power has shifted to those who have knowledge of the web before web 2.0. Those who have the cultural capital and institutional knowledge to establish dominance over another.
This is a thread for discussing the content and themes of BvS. If you can't handle an intelligent thread for a change, you're welcome to continue posting in your Marvel circlejerks.
>taking shit like this seriously used to be a joke
What a time to be alive.
No. The mistake here is thinking that any of this is new. You just hear about it more because the internet is the easiest way to disseminate information we've ever had.
All of this has happened before, all of this will happen again. It's just scale that changes.
All of this has happened be
>it's a Murphy narrates everything because the writers are lazy and the viewers are retarded episode
How is this show still running? It's the absolute bottom of the barrel by now
Think of your favorite Disney or nick sitcom
You now must make a porn parody of it who do you cast, hard mode you have to give it a plot that fits te series
At this point Shia would probably eagerly reprise his role, and as for the plot it basically writes itself to be honest.
What does /tv/ think of Charlie Brooker?
Best movie on Afro American life. No question.
>YO WASSUP NOW, PARTNA!
Menace II Society was good and its definitely a classic but I think Lawrence Tate's roll in Dead Presidents was much more impactful and the writing in Dead Presidents was so perfect it gave me chills.
