do you think directors with "actress" wives feel pressured from them to put them in their movies. Rob Zombie mainly comes to mind, I always wonder if he never really wants her in his movies but feels awkward if he doesnt put her in it.
I feel like there was way more directors that seem to have this problem, the only other one that comes to mind is adam sandler and his wife, but he puts her in small practically cameo roles.
I think he just sees her as his muse and it's probably fun to work together.
Are there any more films that deal with depression/suicide/reasons to live like picture related? I'm stuck in a rut and the depression just keeps getting worse. Watching films like these is cathartic to me.
I think I know what you mean, anon. Here's a couple that really comfort me when I'm low. They're both dark humor
If I think of more and the thread's still here I'll post em

I always thought it was more of an older type of horror movie, with cinematography similar to The Seventh Seal. There was an excerpt of the script in The Unauthorized Autobiography that had a Greek Chorus, so it doesn't really fit the Black Lagoon typography.
It's not like that'll ruin the series (book or tv) for me, what will is if K. Todd and Warburton can't live up to their roles as Mr. Poe and Lemony. Warburton has some...

Just finished watching Gone Girl, I don't get it what kind of message are we supposed to derive? That it's okay for women to lie and cheat on their husbands because they got cheated on? Movie left so many plot holes open, no one questioned her not showing any signs of pregnancy? She comes out 2 months later and announces she is expecting again? What the fuck is this movie?
the message is that women are super smart and could do literally anything if so motivated and the media would take their side for literal reasons. Just ignore all the reasons this isn't true and the mountain of evidence against amy for premeditated murder.
When did Family Guy get so lazy?
They keep recycling jokes, the plots make no sense and this scene is literally the same scene they used a couple episodes ago.
Prepared for a masterpiece of cinema, /tv/?
This could honestly be his masterpiece.
>3.5 hour existentialist drama in a January movie theatre
It's going to be so
comfy. Just like how The Revenant and The Hateful Eight were playing at the same time.
>It's a Gordon flirts with the waitress who tells him all the restaurant's problems episode
>It's a Gordon bullies a lonely old lady episode
I can live with killing off Newt and Hicks unceremoniously, sure, that's part of the tone. That's fine.
But was it just me or did Ripley seem characterized almost completely differently to how she was in the past 2 movies? Except for like one hour in the middle where she was like Alien Ripley. She slept with a guy she just met? Not what I expected, but okay, maybe she was still wet after flirting with Hicks or something. She's now not bothering to tell people about the Alien after telling people...
