Fargo Season 2: It's airing tonight, right? Why no thread?
you don't have to wait. the first season of fargo is better than the first season of true detective. td had better moments but it was inconsistent whereas fargo was good throughout.
Can't wait to see how well she plays Sue Falls.
I preferred TD when they aired, but re-watching them after - True Detective aged liked shit, because you're not as impressed with acting the second time and that's when chunkiness of dialogue REALLY shows. People shit on s2, but s1 was no better written, Mcconaughey was just able to sell it.
It's amazing that out of all the FNL people he easily has the best career while being by far the ugliest one. In 3 years since FNL he's been in Breaking Bad, The Master, Olive Kitteridge, Black Mass, Fargo and almost got a major role in Star Wars(i think he's in the running for one of the spin-offs now). It's especially hilarious seeing him succeed while pretty boy Kitsch fails again and again. I guess Hollywood really needs character actors.
Alright, folks, we'd better get this ball rolling. Probably one of the more acceptable scenarios for using a trip on TV; let's keep track of our scores across the weeks.
Tonight? Holy shit. The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Scream Queens, American Horror Story, The Apprentice, The Flash, Ash vs Evil Dead, Fargo, Gotham, how the fuck am I supposed to keep up with all this?
>The Walking Dead
Shlock with waifus
>American Horror Story
Capeshit, but to be fair it's not complete shlock.
>Ash vs Evil Dead
Might be good
There I saved you some time.
Eh. I'm not confident about the old guy though.
No, they're connected, but not to the degree that you need to watch s1. Basically, all you need to know that Wilson's character is a young version of Molly's father from s1 and in s1 he said that something terrible happened to him in the past, that's what this season is about.
Completely independent - no, it features two character from first season, but one of them was far away from action in s1 and the other one is going to be a kid in s2. Same place too, but story is completely unrelated
You should probably leave out Wilson and Millotti, because he's confirmed alive in present day and she's 100% going to die, but it won't be related to the case, she has cancer or something
It works for him imo, he's never going to be a handsome leading man and with weight gain he might actually pass for a creepy adult instead of awkward teen. He's only 27, but looks much older than Dunst
I mean, during Golden Age HBO, 60 min episodes were perfectly fine with me, Sopranos, Wire and 6FU always ended too soon for me.
But yeah TD isn't interesting enough to be 60 min long, many scenes felt like filler, like they were trying to stretch it to 60. Also that fucking S2 finale was 90 fucking minutes, felt like twice that.
>man gets quints, and nobody helps him out
HDTV rips are usually uploaded within a few hours tops. The WEB-DL, which I personally prefer, usually take a day. They're higher quality and don't have the network logos and TV-14 shit on the screen.
He was in an episode of The Sopranos. That's the first thing I think of when I see him
I've been watching AMC's Halt and Catch Fire this weekend(after hearing about renewal) and shorter episodes help SO MUCH, there's only 10 40-minute episodes in season, you can watch it in a day
MBJ is pretty close to him in terms of career, but i feel like he should've been bigger already, but he can't break out into A-list, while Landry already settled into a nice career.
Saracen has been in a bunch of failed network shows(he has one coming up on ABC this season as well). He got a lot of praise for FNL, but i personally don't think he's that got, he can only play Saracen a.k.a. awkward stuttering nice dude
Guy who played Luke is doing well as well, he's a lead in a MMA show, it's actually pretty good. S2 premieres this week i think
im fucking excited!
too many series starts again
cant keep up
proberly minus 10
looking forward to discuss it with you guys
/tv/ is what made TD s1 great
>tfw Pizza gets btfo by a CW show created by Youtuber
The whole season was great. I wish I had a pic of the qt Asian wife.
>believes in you
>didn't bitch you out like your ex-wife
>had to clean poop between two mattresses once
Too good for Lester, I say.
You're both wrong. By far the best scene was Lou and Malvo in the diner in episode 9. It's not on youtube or anything unfortunately but holy fuck that was a masterclass in tension through acting.
Can somebody upload the rip to Mega when it comes? I live on a university campus due to physical disability, in the UK, and will get evicted pronto if they catch me using the big streaming sites or torrents. But the science faculty frequently use Mega for legitimately sharing their own papers so it's not blocked or w/e
