Not really. Call me when they make something actually new.
Eh good enough, just make sure she has a friend if you post some more.
Not quite. Needs at least one more cute gay girl in the same image. Like this.
Still not it. They don't look gay at all. But you're getting there, try again.
Only if I can sacrifice myself to rekindle humanity's faith in yuri.
Now you got it. The pairing could be better though.
I hate new /v/
Too shitty to talk about something old and too cynical to talk about something new, not to mention all the "factions" there are equally as awful and compete on "who's the least shittier?"
And here I thought I was the only person in the whole world who still shipped Hilda/Aurora.
Pic unrelated because you already posted basically the only fanart of that couple.
Yeah it's a great couple and I wish there was more art of it. Like there was stuff of the hair dresser x Serena
There are a lot of them you know?
You just need to search some.
If we talk of Tripple-A-Gaming, try Mass Effect or Dragons Dogma.... or Skyrim with mods. There is a new romance mod out that let's you date girls (which is nice). It adds sidequests where you can romance existing female npcs. It is quite charming.
Minor character pairings are pretty great.
Why don't you go to /b/ if you wanna shitpost, stop ruining shit for everyone else. I just wanna talk about video games you butt.
There's very little good quality pairing fanart of Borderlands, period. I don't blame yaoifags.
First of all, yes the proceeding mass effect games got better (I loved the first one and liara is awsome) but they got better gameplay-wise and storywise... well, you can argue about the ending of 3 thou...
Also, Samantha is best girl
I'm with you sister. Till the end.
I know. Unfortunately, what little art of them exists that's actually gay is of dubious quality.
Alright cool. I guess I should give the first another shot anyway since it's been years since I played it, not to mention how nice it helpful it will be understanding the story going into #2.
And here's another Sam x Laura for the anon that wanted it.
I'm still pissed off. I though Athena/Janey was going to scratch my itch for human weapon that is really bad at the human part on normal girl relationship type.
Sadly it did not really deliver.
I would love if Zelda U gives us the option to play as a female Link. There's literally no reason why Link can't be a girl, so long as a woman has courage, she could inherit the Hero's Spirit.
You can BASICLY "marry" anyone with a name in Dragons Dogma. Now, it is stupid and hidden as shit, but after saving the little witch Selene and playing through the game, I had her at my house and imagined her as my adopted daugther and Mercedes who I romanced and... well... married... more or less...
I like to imagine that. My beautiful, strong and proud wife Mercedes the Knight, my little adopted daughter Selene and me, the Arisen, the woman who safed the land of Gransys. That sounds like the best family in the history of fantasy RPGs
I want to start a "couples only you and that one other guy on pixiv ship" thread.
then fucking start it, I don't see how someone stops you from doing so.
My dreams of seeing May X Zinnia Fanarts... they were the cutest pairring I have seen in a game for a long time
So you mildly excited for DD's venture to the pc come 2016?
I don't know that feel.
Idolmaster is videogames, right?
Romancing Mercedes is like setting her on the ultimate path to humiliation.
Think about it. She
loses her duel with that pretty dude, knowing full well that she was sent to the country because she was the cheaper way to fulfill an old-ass international treaty; she saw an opportunity to finally prove herself with it, but it was ultimately denied. Your intervention causes her to further prove herself as an useless warrior as she gets captured by the dragonand used as another bargaining chip. If you save her, she finally renounces her warrior ways and settles in your house as the powerless wife that destiny set her out to be.
I really REALLY hope that happens.
But, let's be honest, things are a lot more active on /v/ then they are here. Don't get me wrong, I like /u/ and it's "inactiveness" (if you can even call it that). It's just a simple fact. Make a thread on /u/ that doesn't get a reply in days, it's still on here somewhere. Make one on /v/, it's gone in minutes or hours. To the archives with it. Well... who cares.
Have more vidya yuri
There's a better verison of that pic btw.
No I don't mean that, though I fully believe it might be a move by capcom to see if there's interest for it.
I literally don't even care. More dragons dogma means more dragons dogma. You can be sure I will support the everlasting FUCK out of it because that could mean that capcom could make another one.
And yes, I know I'm not being very ladylike but who cares. It is dragons dogma. On steam. I'm just making backflips at this point
I don't know.
I really REALLY don't know.
I mean I did mike most of the characters in mass effect. Even the male once. And maybe it is because I'm not attracted to dudes (Like most here I suppose...) but I didn't feel like I want to be romanticly involved with any of the guys in the game. I'd much rather go and drink something with them or do calibrations or what ever you do in the deep reaches of space to have fun with friends... But I never had the urge to do anything more with them. They were cool and everything but why go further?
It's beyond me.
Different people like different things I suppose...
They assume het fags will play it and love it as much the LGBT crowd. Het fags whined because Dragon Age 2, in result we got Sera (eww) and no Cassandra. Bioware simply don't learn. What was the last time you saw a het fan art of their characters?
Except for Femshep x Garrus, I mean.
Yes, I'm mad. Cassandra was the only one in Dragon Age I really wanted to romance.
Cause there's a plethora of characters that are of either gender and dle hands are the pervert's play-things. I am furious about not seducing Cassandra but oh well, it's not like it's unusual in an rpg.
Let's all try and remember to sage when posting sometime.
I never played Dragon Age but a friend of mine nags me to play it because it is appearently the best thing in the history of anything ever or something.
What is this het-stuff heresy about you are going on about?
I understand, I just get angry every time I think what could it be, I'm sorry. And I really don't like Sera. Sorry again, just my opinion.
Aaand Tali would be a much more interesting romance in ME
I was so angry after I found out you can't romance her as a women... especially since there was a lot of tension between you and her. It's such a shame...
I love Tali! Give me Tali Bioware!
i seem to remember tali was supposed to be romanceable as a woman, but it was cut because bioware wanted to have an equal number of romances for male and female characters or something.
>"Dear me, I didn't mind when we were just different species, but if we're both girls, then it's weird."
Over the course of 3 games, I accepted that Williams was a straight character, but for some reason, I could never admit the same for Tali.
Eh, nothing can be perfect, I suppose.
Because /b/ is even more shit and also boring. And not vidya. And porn dumps. And check this 9.
Going to /v/ to talk about video games is a retarded fucking idea, be it old /v/ or ebin neo-/v/ meme. Don't bother.
shameless self promotion:
True. I'm mad about Cassandra, I'm mad about ME3 ending. And I'm probably fucked for actually expecting a decent lesbian romance after everything they have done, but... I need to.
I don't even play ME for the /u/ and use manshep and I'm skeptical about it. Plot seems stupid, too many humans, and they;re going to have to do a lot of bullshit to make sure the ending to 3 is left ambiguous. Might just get it for the multiplayer.
>/v/ cares more that they don't get to see titties this one time than the ending to Life is Strange.
/v/ has the worst priorities.
Worst part is I can already predict the plot.
>all get into the vault
>todd claims you 'emerge as the only survivor'
>deeper into the main story you find out your family left before you
>forced to get back together
maybe we'll get lucky an you can change the genders of each?
From what I saw in the E3 demo, it looks like you can customize your spouse's appearance, but not the gender. Maybe that changed, but since they have a fully voiced protag, that means they would need 4 different voices. 2 for the lesbian couple and 2 for the gay couple. They haven't said they've done this, so I assume a pure lesbian or gay option isn't possible.
Srsly thou, they would miss out on massive publicity if they wouldn't include same-sex couples as an options.
They wouldn't even have to advertise it. If they just put it in like "Yeah your spouse can be the same sex as you, whats the big deal?", they would get massive publicity for almost no effort.
But then again, it is bethesta we are talking about
>they would get massive publicity for almost no effort
Forget the lesbian stuff, I'll eat my yuri comics if 80% of launch week's "publicity" isn't exposing Bethesda's total lack of effort in making sure important NPCs aren't falling through the floor or erasing all your save data every time you switch weapons.
I feel dumb since I thought it'd be obvious. Why would the player be a android/gynoid when they have a much better opportunity to allow one or two companions be a such things? Companions that that have a, for the most part, concrete story and could help emphasis some of the themes in the game.
Sure the SS could an android/gynoid but it's so blatantly obvious that no one would really be surprised unless there was another twist behind that twist.
It's really only obvious if you've watched Bladerunner. Plus other companions can still be androids. It's not like the PC being a human makes other human companions something that can't be.
I think they already said you could gay romance some of your companions, we are talking about the original partner.
It feels cheap as fuck not letting you being a dyke or a faggot from the start.
There is some speculation you can change the sexes of your starter couple, assuming they really matter.
Also all romanceable companions are romanceable by both sexes. That much is confirmed.
I will take exclusive lesbian romance over copy pasted romance that is the same for both sexs any day of the week.
I don't even like Sera as a character, but the romance was the best bioware has done so far for lesbians.
Gives us something to do that's on-topic for the board.
You playing anything interesting as of late? I kinda lost the will to play anything.
Is this the new game thread? Currently playing Telepath Tactics, I suck so much in this genre (can't past second battle ;_;), but I already love the characters.
I believe so as well, in the trailer there is what looks like an option to change the gender of your spouse. Still pissed off that you're forced into a relationship right from the get-go though.
From what I saw, I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's just for you to switch to which gender you want to customize. Then whoever you exit the customization screen with is the character you play as.
I just had another look, and I think you might be right. There is no button that makes sense to have as a "change character" button other than the "sex" button.
This basically kills my wish to play the game on day one, so I'll have to wait for mods or some other DLC that changes the starting experience.
As a purityfag I can't play a lesbo who is/was married to a dude and who had a kid with him.
It pisses me off so much. In previous open-world Bethesda games we were given what was essentially a blank slate, with no relationships or anything like that, we could just make up whatever we wanted.
That's part of why I'm unconvinced by thoughts that we can't make a gay starter couple or that they are important to begin with.
It's just too much story to leave out of the player's hands.
Not to mention that a lot of the into sequence we've seen is just cuts between different sections and Bethesda is being really tight lipped about shit so it really makes me distrust it entirely.
Ah you're right, it's just been years since I've seen someone use that word seriously. You could still enjoy it, but I can understand where you're coming. If anything though, the alt start mods should help give you what you need even if it's six months late or so.
I'm in the same boat as you. I'll be buying the game about a year or two after it's released. Mostly because it'll be cheaper and I can get all the DLC with it, but also because I need the lesbian mods.
I just wanna be a cute lesbian with a magic science baby in the post apocalypse.
Whether or not alt start mods will help me and my purityautism depends entirely on how integral the spouse is to the main story. I have a feeling he will be gone for a while, and then he and the kid will appear again later down the line and play a big role, trying to tug on heart-strings.
If this is true, a modder would have to make massive changes to the story, and that's just not going to happen.
Let's pray for lesbo-friendly alternate starting experiences added with DLC, Anon!
They definitely wouldn't do it exclusively for us lesbo-lovers, but I imagine there are a lot of people outside of our community that would also like a bit more freedom in their starting scenario.
Maybe they could market it as a proper expansion, complete with a new story.
You ladies made me curious, so I googled fallout 4 on e3. Until 1:14 they talk about face customization and play as female. Maybe I'm dense, but I don't think it's possible to be both wifes.
I'm not playing this game, /u/.
It's okay we still got two weeks and four days until one day before release to have the rest of our hopes crushed. The biggest slap in the face in terms of news is the actual lack of news so far.
You are wrong.
I don't think they'd let us swap the entire character model on this screen anyway.
If there is such an option (but I doubt it), it's most likely selectable before the tutorial even starts.
No, that's to switch to the other character. You press the button and the other character is like "My turn in the mirror." then you customize that character. There's currently no way to have a purely gay couple, very disappointing.
Regardless of the lesbians and stuff in FO4, my prediction is that time travel will play a part. My reasoning is that in the trailer, you can see the Protag behind a fence in his Vault jumpsuit, before he even gets there. Then a single frame before the scene changes, he vanishes.
Screencap this post, I'm 100% sure time travel is in.
>there are people here RIGHT NOW who weren't here when the Summon Knight 3 let's play threads were going on
And that was recent as hell, relatively speaking for me anyway. Time is a scary thing.
There's a Senran Kagura on there, you might want to ask in their thread how relevant this particular game is to o/u/r interest. Nothing else comes to mind - you'll have to wait for the localization of Fire Emblem Fates.
Athena and Janey also have a few cameos in Tales.
To be fair
Cassandra already had a somewhat established het romance before Inquisition. But I still would have enjoyed being able to romance her with my qt Qunari mage
Would it really count if
the sole survivor you play as is really just an android with the memories of the human you, but "you" died i the blasts and at the end you choice whether you want to keep the memories of your past life or wipe them clean in order to become your own person and not just a shell of someone else
No. Janey flirts a bit with a mostly oblivious/flustered Athena during the game and then a short conversation two-third into new game plus tells you that they hooked up off-screen at some point after the events of the pre-sequel.
Just for the lesbians? No.
I mean, Athena and Janey get some cute scenes in Tales (provided you don't fuck up your choices), but they're pretty brief and not the focus at all.
>/v/ liking something
In other news, anyone have any good Mariko x An art?
It is pretty cute, yes.
But I still don't think it'd be worth shelling out the money for *just* those scenes. It'd only be worth the money if you like the rest of the game as well.
I'm wondering if this is general enough, or perhaps too specific in places. Ah well.
Athena is introduced as an antagonistic Vault Hunter. Because she's promised Janey to stop being a Vault Hunter, Fiona can either mess with Athena or cover for her (provided Rhys does not go join Fiona in Episode 2, because if you do there is no scene where Fiona, Athena and Janey all interact - and also no kissing).
Turns out it was all a big ol' misunderstanding and Athena had actually been hired to help Fiona. Fiona and Athena hang out for a bit, during which time it becomes clear Athena's relationship with Janey isn't going very smoothly what with Athena constantly lying about what she's actually doing.
At some point, Athena gets defeated and hauled off to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. When Fiona is forced to 'fess up to Janey about what actually happened, it's advisable to tell her that Athena really does love her.
Also, you should launch Scooter's satellite.
Then you should take along Athena and Janey on your final mission to get some clarity on their happy ending.
I like lesbians and I like good lesbian romances sometimes (See stretch.)
I usually don't like yuri romance though cause it just seems like forced bullshit. Your frozen threads are awful.
While technically game-related do they have ANY appearances or even mentions in the games? I thought it was all the anime and a novel or some shit.
Also they were sadly not even popular back when SIGN aired, much less now. Doubt there's much to be found.
Holy shit, somehow I got to /u/ and saw this thread on the front page so I thought I was still on /v/, and the thread underneath it was Yuru Yuri so I didn't notice it then either. And then the thread underneath that was "Who's your favorite yuri artists?", to which I said "Why the fuck is this on /v/?"
>mfw checking the top of the page
>used to frequent /v/
>constant 'this game is shit' 'this console is shit' 'videogames are shit' threads
>decide to get a ds flashcart and some other games
>actually have fun
>haven't been back to /v/ since
If it was anyone but Bethesda I'd be willing to say the opening bit they showed off was a trick. But it is Bethesda. No way I'm playing it until spoilers come out. Hopefully you actually play as the baby or something.
They killed off the character of a big name actor in the tutorial for oblivion, plus the huge secrecy around what happens in the tutorial for FO4 is just a big red flag for me personally.
That's because /u/ actually loves lesbians, whereas I'm not sure /v/ even likes videogames.
I know that in some of the games Subaru and Tsukasa appear as NPCs, but I don't know beyond that. I've never actually played the .hack games.
I've only read the Phantom of the Twilight manga and //SIGN anime.
It would be bizarre to just throw away characters the player created. I don't believe Bethesda could do it. The couple and the baby have to have some importance in the story.
Especially the baby, they went through the trouble of building a system to build the baby's appearance based on the parent's when they really didn't have to. They could have just made a generic baby model and changed the skin colour to whatever is needed and no one would have cared.
We'll see what happens but I'm not betting on anything really crazy, after all even MGSV's trick character creator had an impact on the story. Either everything is as it seems or you play as the baby, I'm going with the safe choices.
Ok ok ok so you only pretended to like your husband to get $$$ to spend on your lesbian lover. who is also your bff and helped you pick your adopted baby more than your husband did.
Now it's gayer
I've got a question for /u/: in Arcanum, did anyone here managed to romance Raven with a female character?
I've read in several places that it was possible but never found an explanation as to how, other than a vague "you need very high beauty/charisma/persuasion and be nice with her". I've failed everytime I tried, and even taking a look at the game's dialog and script files didn't help. The only line I could find that would set the required flag was restricted to male characters (and only required higher than average beauty and playing a certain race).
If anyone has ever managed to do it, I'd be curious to know how.
Anyone know if it's reasonable to get back into TOR? I'm itching for something to do while I wait for another game.
