I have a question /v/.
Why is it that nearly every Kirby game always receives good reception?
Of course they put out a few duds over the years, I don't remember anyone really loving Canvas/Rainbow Curse of Mass Attack the same way people love Super Star or The Crystal Shards or Planet Robobot, but compared to Mario, Zelda and Pokémon, who always seem much more at arms when they put out something mediocre.
Is it really a case of "There is no bad Kirby games?".
It's probably more of a case that Kirby's "mediocre" games are no where near as bad as with say Pokémon or Zelda's mediocre. Either that or the other three series you mentioned are held to a higher standard among fans.
>Is it really a case of "There is no bad Kirby games?"
At worse we had Squeak Squad/Rainbow Curse which were just terribly mediocre. At least Mass Attack had some fucking awesome minigames
Well there's the huge amount of care HAL puts into their stuff, but I think it's mostly because there's very little hype and thus not very high expectations for the games. They release with little fanfare so when normies and non-Kirby-fan gamers pick up one of the games on a whim they're pleasantly surprised with it 90% of the time
>draw a girl
>call it a boy
What are your opinions of this game?
I thought it was fun, and a good game. I got bored like 4 hours in and just stopped playing. The "Perk" system is actually one of the worst I have ever seen and the game would be far better without it.
I felt that it was a good game in its own way, but I personally just lost interest with it because I personally it felt a little stale for me. That is to say, I didn't feel that it was deficient in any real objective sense.
I think Civilization is a good game, but I almost never actually finish it.
Hey /v/. What kind of character should I make in FNV? I've only done one play through a few years back as a melee build/Ceasar's Legion and it was ass. Help me make the choice for the Mojave. Or whatever the hell is the most enjoyable way to play.
Is he still mad?
I don't know but is he the better voice actor?
Yes he is, that's a fact
Don't get me wrong, is a good game, but 96 is just a joke of a score. 85/100 at best
What were they thinking?
ITT: times you let /v/ trick you
Am I a casual for thinking that a ranking system like ELO (especially for a team game) is really fucking dumb.
I just hate how I can climb high one night and the next I lose it all, COMPLETELY nullifying all the wins I put in before. I just feel like there are better ways to do it.
well if youre on a win streak you win more points
>hurr durr i lost it all
no dumbfuck you played 4 matches in a row where you lost and you couldnt step away from the computer and take a break
Just picked this bad boy up from gamestop. How'd I do /v/? Thankfully it has windows 10, so it's pretty future proof.

Do you think the Switch should get a racing game that is similar to GT and Forza?
>DS4 PC drivers so shit that someone at valve got pissed and made his own
In the historical society, James is supposed to be travelling through Silent Hill's history, but this is one of those rooms that don't make any sense.
this thread again?
Where exactly is it ever implied he'd be going through SH's history? If anything, he's diving deeper and deeper into his own mind.
The flooded tunnels are his brain matter.
>Point out a cancerous business practice in a game
>No you don't understand, this game is "cancerous business practice" done right!

IT WAS REAL IN MY MIND DAMNIT
Marin wasn't real dwi op
Marin was real, it wasn't "just a dream", it was a real place created from the dream of a deity. If you got the good ending, Marin's wish was granted and she lived on as a seagull after the island disappeared.
Y-you did get the good ending for her, right anon?
Marin was real. She was also trapped in the Windfish's dream.
Did this Link survive after the ending?
He was still stranded at sea. Windfish could have at least gave him a ride to Hyrule or something.
>Outside of the 2D games, Tails will always be the Mission Control/pilot sidekick that can't defend himself
>Shadow will always be the tryhard edgy rival that hates Sonic for no reason rather than just the grumpy, lone-wolf straight-man he was at the end of the Dark Age
>Silver will never be playable again, and if he is, he won't feel nearly as powerful or well-equipped as he was in Sonic Generations' fight

WHERE WULD DA WEPON BE
What did I just waste 4 hours of my life on?
Thank fuck this was free. I fucking hate indie garbage
Easy garbage you mean.
All you do is walk at an obnoxiously slow pace regardless of holding R2, listen to some specters then watch some cunt fade into light after murdering her husband
ITT: Underrated good games.
Name 1 (one) vidya character that can defeat him
>playing warrior since being a little kid
>Baldur Gate, Arcanum, Elder Scrolls, JRPG, etc. Always looking to be a warrior
>getting bored and play mage
>"this shit is fun, why anyone told me about it"
>tfw you play mage because you realize is the best class
>try to play as wizard as I possibly can
>most games won't let me
It's either basic as fuck or unviable, with a few outliers where mages dominate the game.
Magic should always be balanced by simply being difficult to get into and use. If it takes longer to power up and requires a lot of sacrifice in the early game, it's perfectly justified as being strong as fuck.
>Always play tanks and support classes with my friends because they are braindead glass cannons in every game
>When I play by myself I always go as ranged DPS
It's objectively the best choice if you know how to kite and avoid damage. I would play them all the time if my friends didn't need a meat shield to protect their dumb asses 24/7.
Now that the dust has settled, what went wrong?
I've been trying to find a copy of Maxres Default for years. You see screen caps from it all the time and it looks like the most amazing and diverse game ever but I can't find it on Amazon or on STEAM and google is no help. Is there a torrent or is is early access or something?
>4 playthroughs later you realize he's voiced by chandler bing
>trying to justify the idiot proof Yesman ending
It only exists because retards make mistakes yet are not punished for it.

I want to buy a 3ds but switch is so near. What should I do, /v/? What if MH never hits the Switch? What if the system flop and I never get my 3ds? I guess I'm better with a 3ds and buying a Switch at the end of 2017, r-right?
>Want to get N3DS
>Nintendo is bound to announce their newest DS brand at any time

What is the best 2D platformer game and why?
What's a good modern JRPG I can play where I can just sit down and get somewhat immersed in?
I don't really care if it's grindy. I'd prefer if it's turn based.
Are Trails of Cold Steel and Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness any good?
What video game has the most depressing story?
Can we talk about why none of nintendo's most popular handheld franchises were shown/talked about for the switch?
Why pokemon sun/moon are releasing only on the 3ds, 4 months before the new console drops?
I don't think the switch is getting handheld games. I think yakuza-ceo was serious in that interview where he said he didn't think the switch would cannibalize 3DS sales and it could continue in its own form.
Because they literally aren't telling us anything besides "it exists" until January
Nintendo did merge their console and handheld teams a while back though so I'll be really surprised if this thing isn't intended to replace the WiiU and the 3DS at the same time.
>so I'll be really surprised if this thing isn't intended to replace the WiiU and the 3DS at the same time.
They're idiots and it's a WIi U replacement, not a combination.
Why does nobody like Totooria?
