What is your opinion of the Assassin's Creed series?
Never really understood the appeal. People always say the new ones are shit but 1 or 2 was good, but even 1 and 2 were both garbage. They have really shallow, unchallenging, uninteresting gameplay, and make up for it in typical ubisoft fashion by just making really boring fetch quests and collectibles and throwing about 100 hours of them around. That isn't fun, challenging, interesting, or engaging, and I am baffled at its continued success as a game design model.
AC1 was fun and neat and one of my favorite last gen games. I never got around to playing the Ezio trilogy but I played the "where's Charles Lee" simulator and the pirate ship sailing simulator, both were pretty mediocre but 4 was a step in the right direction, sort of.
Recently bought a PS4 and played Unity, dropped that shit so hard. Might try Syndicate after my roommate picks it up and lets me know how it is.
I like the premise and idea, but far too many times do the games steer away from...

Good to see ya again, grandson!
Boy do I have a treat for you! Your mom told me how much you like them vee-dee-oh games, and my Avon lady told me this is what all the kids are harping for these days. Hope you enjoy it
what the actual fuck is that
so now that Bodyslide and CBBE is out for Fallout 4 already and the GECK isn't even out yet, how do you feel about the future of modding?
I'm trying to make all my XCOM troopers based on vidya characters, but the thing is I'm having the darnest times thinking of support vidya characters. Care to lend me a hand?

Every guide on the internet is a scam.
Is Star Wars Republic Commando worth playing? It's like 2 dollars on Steam.
It looks pretty decent, but is there anything it can be compared to so I have a vague idea?
So this is available for 10 bucks now
How is it? I heard that Dice LA actually put a shitload of effort into fixing it
You can choose one of these, but BE WARNED! The effects will apply to every game you ever play for the remainder of your life, and you can never change your decision.
Or, you can trade it all for the MYSTERY BOX, contents will be revealed in ten minutes.
green. Droprate is completely irrelevant if you just grind for long enough. A piece of equipment which doubles your defense and HP is much more valuable than droprate would ever be.

Lobby looks like it has some Gregor potential.
I'd play for either team and hard carry them while being a bro tier team player and leave without saying a word.
I'm just going to go with red team. Can't help but feel they got it together a bit more. Mootles might drag everyone down, but if I take out nathan, I think blue team will crumble.
How more difficult than making a 2D game is making a 3D game?
Depends on your skillset and how it was you were making 2D games. Were you using 3D models with a locked sidescroller camera? Were you using sprites? What engine were you using?
It could be anywhere from a minor jump in difficulty to a massive jump depending on your answers.
How can tr4sh players even compete?

What went right?
Do I have to finish the first Witcher game? I'm in the city and it's just become a total slog. I'm guessing the other two games are better than the first one? I really liked the first chapter in the village, but I'm really tired of just running around killing these swamp things over and over. The combat's not great.
