ITT: Things that people claim are hard, but really are piss easy.
Now that the memeing has down a little bit, tell me /v/:
>No guy buy
For PC (obviously)
Which Megami would you Tensei?
Do you feel bad for talented writers who are stuck working on dumb shit like video games?
I'm sick of games that explain their mechanics and controls through dialogue.
I'm sick of games that tell their story through cutscenes instead of through gameplay.
This shit is not okay. What are your thoughts, /v/?
>I'm sick of games that explain their mechanics and controls through dialogue.
I hate this, though I didn't mind it too much in Metal Gear Solid.
>'m sick of games that tell their story through cutscenes instead of through gameplay.
Not too bothered about this actually, just as long as the game doesn't go overboard like MGS4 and become a movie.
You have 10 seconds to post a better intro movie than this:
This is the PlayStation Vita. Say something about it! Anything!
What should I do with this lil piece of shit?
>Final Boss's strongest attack is the name of the game
When is Hayabusa going to get his shit together and kill this bitch already? It's obvious no one enjoys being around her.
APOLOGIZE! Right. Now.

RATING SYSTEM IS LIKED/PLAYED.
>"Man I wish my girlfriend liked videogames"
>"Man I wish girls liked videogames too"
>"I'm bringing my daughter up to play videogames"
We made a fucking mistake...
Coming from a time where video games were mere mb in size, if not a few hundred kb.
In under 30 years that number exponentially grown to some AAA titles reaching 50gb+
How soon until we hit the tb size for a video game?
What will be the cause?
Deeper lore (videos, audio, text)?
Will vidya peak or will it continue until technology dies?
Videos and audio are the main problem.
"AAA" devs like to put the audio in raw formats and tons of prerendered video at high resolutions
just check some ripped releases on torrent sites, some of the +50gb games are 15bg or less when you remove the videos, or just lower the quality of them a bit.
Excellent plot, although main character was a bit of a fuckwit.
Excellent mood, felt consistently spooky.
Excellent ending, leaving you feeling just how an existential horror game should.
Is this the general consensus? Anybody didn't enjoy as much as I did?
Simon is dumb which is kind of frustrating. It's no fun when you understand the plot but your character doesn't.
Also, I sincirely hope no one actually killed the WAU, it was geting better at making humans
So we all agree the cinematic story mode in here is so bad it's good tier, right?
This is a complete laugh, it's so corny and that's just the beginning. The live action film did it better.
Is there any reward (like fight money) for completing story mode? I already finished every character's story and bought two fighters, but I want to unlock them all without paying.
>inb4 survival on hell
I'm not that gud
>AI is retarded
>AI is still retarded on higher difficulties, but get unfair advantages
>AI does nothing the entire game on lower difficulties
>AI advances at ridiculous rate and constantly rushes you on higher difficulties
>no comfortable middle ground that feels fair
>game gives buffs to the enemy at higher difficulties
>game berates you for playing lower difficulties
>easy is "press attack and win"
>normal and hard are a grind fest
ITT: games you won't play because of the protagonist
starting with an obvious one
also this asshole
>le badass weeb
cringe as fuck
Nero's not so bad. Sure he's an anime protagonist but when a human and a (powerful non-human race) breed that's what you're inevitably gonna get somewhere down their bloodline.
>game has a deep and philosophical story that makes you reconsider your life choices
Why don't you have a 1000 dollar chair /v/? Don't you worry about your posture while playing games?
>aliens land outside your house and demand the last game you played
>if they deem the game to be shit, they will destroy humanity
How fucked are you?
How long till CD Project will be taken over by EA?
Mods are asleep
Post cute vidya girls
Why aren't you going to preorder Mass Effect Andromeda /v/?
>Falling for the same shit
Nah, I'm done.
Were have you been when MMOs confirmed saved by Project W?
>Kakao Games today announced it has signed the publishing rights for Project W from Bluehole Studio for the regions of North America and Europe. Project W is touted as a “blockbuster PC MMORPG” led by a former NCsoft veteran, and will begin beta in Korea early next year. It is interesting to note that Bluehole Studio is not publishing the game through its Western subsidiary, En Masse Entertainment.
Today is Halloween lets post Halloween related vidya comics
Tell me this, Captain. If birds are so very important, then why are there no good games about birds?
Because most birds are fucking faggots.
List of birds that are not faggots.
Hawks, raptors and falcons
Crows n' shit (corvids)
A few other cool ones I forget
List of birds who are faggots
Prove me wrong, protip:
Birds are nature's cruellest mistake. Weird enough to be outcasts among vertebrates but not disgusting enough to be invertbrates. They're just colorful football shaped organ sacks that shit everywhere.
I love you /v/...
I had hunch that Heroes of the Storm was doing poorly but not so poorly that Blizz would finally cave in and be a little more generous with their first moba. It was one of the things that turned me away the firs time I played, how everything was over 10$ unless you bought the 100$ + packages.
But it still seems kind of lame to artificially boost your player numbers by getting players from your other popular, and unrelated, games to play.
Though it sickens me to...

Are you retarded? This is not new, they have been doing this since HoTS came out. By the way, it's not unique to HoTS either. Like playing WoW to get a Hearthstone cardback or getting a mount in WoW for playing hearthstone. Or an avatar in SC2 for whatever.
Literally all of BLizzard games have some sort of crossover. That's the entire intent of B.net.
According to this list Wildstar looks to be the last MMORPG that came out in 2014
What happened? 2000-2005 they just started catching on and then 2006-2010 there was like a huge burst of games in this genre but it looks like by 2012 it started to really cool down
Are there any big MMORPGs in the works to look out for or is this it?
>Are there any big MMORPGs in the works to look out for or is this it?
Crowfall and Korean Bless Online.
You aren't looking hard enough or simply don't care anymore. Back in 2000-2010 there was a huge market for MMOs but with all the failing, copying, shit developers and going p2w most just don't care anymore.
