>final boss is your dad
The music, the setting, everything was fucking perfect.
>Neighbor comes over today.
>Wants me to help her Christmas shop for her son.
>They have a Wii that someone gave them, but no controllers or games.
>Wants to buy controllers and games for it.
>We go to a local game shop down the road.
>Kid has expressed interest in Kirby and Sonic games in the past.
>No Kirby games in stock.

Oh, mighty /v/, should press the button?
>enemy unknown complete pack
Enemy unknown better come with enemy within, and don't buy stalker. The dev team(s) have been dead for so long because the owner of the series withheld months pay until everyone quit.
Should there be a sequel? (PS4)
Just imagine if Sony put Goku in PSASBR 2. Would they sell more than Smash 4?
Or maybe Sony should leave the PSASBR thing altogether and create something new... by a better developer.
Your thoughts /v/?
A sequel should only be done if they're willing to go all in. The disaster we got was a result of it being treated as a side project. Which is a shame too because it had a good roster albeit missing a few crucial characters.
>A sequel should only be done if they're willing to go all in
yeah, they need to write a blank check for a sequel
I'd like to see them try again
doesn't have to be a fighting game
It's the most fun Moba, why don't you play it /v/?
>simplest teamfighting in the genre
>least amount of character progression in the genre
>forced objectives - go where the game tells you, when it tells you
>slowest and least consumer-friendly unlock model in the genre
>lowest skill cap, lowest depth, most forgiving and hand-holding
HotS is fucking garbage
The ONLY reason i play this dumbed down dota is for the unique heroes like abathur and lost vikings and i play it once every couple of days i enjoy dota 2 more
really cool design that i wish was in dota
not the same as vikings nigga
Because fun does not equal depth.
It's fun, but I can't sink my teeth into it because it's so fucking shallow.
It's basically the Battlefront of MOBAS.
Is it ethical? Does it promote pirating? Is it as black and white as people make it out to be, or is a grey area?
It's been a while since we've had this debate, /v/.
Ethical depends on how many assumptions you throw at it. Emulation is legal, so it is ethical, but if you assume that everyone who uses an emulator is pirating, then no it isn't ethical because they are stealing software.
This also plays into the argument of "If you cannot buy a game anymore is it ethical to pirate it?"
Frankly I don't give a shit and Nintendo can eat my asshole with a spoon, emulators provide a better experience than the consoles they are emulating do through higher graphical fidelity, freedom of controller choice and customization,...

So can we all agree that pic-related is the greatest female video game character of all time?
>sexually liberated strong woman who needs no man, and in fact easily defeats all male opponents in her path
>easily defeats all male opponents in her path
not all of them
This thing was supposed to be hard, right? But in actuality, it was the second boss that didn't frustrate me, after the Zinogre.
>Nomura is trying the make the ENTIRETY of Midgar explorable and add more depth to characters and locations and give the game an online component
>And people actually want square to waste resources on recreating the fucking honey bee inn bullshit and pushing barrels on Shinra soldiers
Is there anything more cancerous?
>is there anything more cancerous
Yea, you FF7 faggots who have 4 fucking threads up already and don't know how to read the rules.
Who am I kidding, mods don't give a fuck about /v/ anymore.
This is a thread for three anons to fight eachother about Superstar Saga
>get cup of water and straw
>blow bubbles into the mike
>"lol duuuuuude wtv man im highhh as fuuuck right now lmao"
If they keep bullying
>"duuuudee lmao chill its a game."
>The most popular gaming device is the smartphone.
Almost made me hurl holy shit. Since when are fucking farmville and words with friends fucking videogames?
So you consider them to be videogames? Are you telling me they fall under the same catagory as metal gear solid and dark souls?
What was the best generation in gaming?
Whatever generation you were 12 years old in.
For the majority of /v/, that's the 6th gen.
For me it's the 4th gen, and it's also the objectively golden age of video games.
Thank god for not having been born too late.
Anyone played any Grim Dawn yet? Is it as good as Titan Quest?
Grim dawn has been the most arpg for me since I was playing d2 Lod with my friends in middle school. It has talent trees, cool setting, respecing, the choice between two different classes talent trees to make unique combos, fun skills, not too complicated. I have put over 100hours in. 50 prob just on my pyro/occultist explode shit build.
Who would win?
From what I remember AM had reality warping powers, but only localized on Earth.
SHODAN almost got reality warping powers without range limits, but was shut down before getting full control of this power.
It's not really correct to pit the two against each other.
Honestly versus are /b/-tier threads to begin with.
