When did Castlevania truly die, /v/?
With the release of IGAvania on the PSX?
With the addition of moeshit in Rondo of Blood?
Or with the multi-whip bullshit in Super Castlevania IV?
Lord of Shadows.
Metroidvania was a great idea, it was just abused to shit and quickly became redundant. I wish they would have made more plateformers instead.
But when it REALLY became complete fucking shit is Lord of Shadows hands down. It's when Castlevania officially stopped being Castlevania.
Whine all you want about how "casual" SCIV was, but IGAVania turned the series into a grindfest animu clusterfuck.
For all that Lords of Shadows did wrong, it at least remembered the root of Castlevania being about fighting monsters on your way to Dracula.
Is this good for a newbie at rpgs? Seems like there is so much to learn in this.

What was his name again?
>daily deals and flash sales are gone
I honestly prefer it this way.
I am an Aussie and my internet is shit tier and cuts out all the fucking time, sometimes for over a day it will be fucked. Now I don't have to have a heart attack that something on my wishlist will have a flash sale while my internet is fucked again and I will miss it. I also don't have to wait till last day to buy everything as well.
how did people even beat this game?
the difficulty spikes from 0 to 100 every other boss and the final boss is almost impossible to beat without the tem armor
ive spent nearly 12 hours with the game and still havent beat it and I play a lot of fucking games..
the difficulty spikes almost ruins what is a very unique game with great personality and superb music.
What game allows me to be a complete badass and murder down a whole mansion including kids?
When does this game get good?
When I got to the slide level i the tree I was more or less satisfied enough from that for the rest of the game, or at least until the
throwback galaxywhich sealed the deal.
Also road to Bowser returning was a really nice touch
What do you mean you didn't donate to Psychonauts 2 crowdfunding campaign on Fig? Video games don't grow on trees you entitled little brats.
How does Cold Steel taste?
Square Enix Humble Bundle 3
How good is it and is it worth getting the whole $8.99+ deal?
If you don't have any of those games go for it.
Absolution is really fun, and that's coming from a guy who has Blood Money in his top three games EVER. Yes, it's not Hitman and has tons of modern game shit problems, but I enjoyed it for what it is.
Tomb Raider was a huge disappointment and not really Tomb Raider at all, just a cinematic third person shooter. It's ok for one playthrough if you're bored.
The coop one is pretty good, just play it with a friend.

>its ok when Bethesda doesn't use a new game engine
I haven't played a COD game since Modern Warfare 2. Would I like this? I've never liked the Treyarch games and I was really only into COD 4 and MW2
