What are some games featuring or based around the rescue of a princess? It's a genre that has become somewhat demonized in today's fiction, but I'm eager to rescue some damsels regardless.
Why aren't there more games about cooking and serving food /v/?
I mean, we all do it.
>download game OST
>it's so fucking awesome that you listen to it on your way to classes everyday
So why did space aliens suddenly appear in a UFO for one scene of Majora's Mask, then leave and never be mentioned again for the rest of the series?
because who cares?
they were fucking scary, the whole game sorta deals in "finality" and you have to save the ranch, and in japanese style they take tropes from america like a ranch getting attacked by flatswood niggers
DId your parents ever buy you video games, /v/?
Nope. Back when I was younger it was cheaper to just rent games for a week versus buying them. Also meant I had a small as fuck SNES library though.
Allowance picked up the games I knew were keeper when they were on sale.
so, has anyone played this game yet?
I really loved fallout 1 and 2, people are saying its the closest thing
someone try to talk me out of buying it, I really dont feel like getting the buyers remorse (I am too lazy to do steam refunds)
Haven't played it, but from what I've heard it has good gameplay, interesting characters, and a world that's worth exploring, but that the story is pretty standard, and the dialogue can be wonky at times.
Lets have a chill Smash thread sans the competitive stuff for a while.
>favorite stage for fun
>favorite hitting bag character
>favorite dumb thing to do
>favorite controller (no GC allowed)
>character you want to git gud as but simply can't
>character that troubles you the most when you play against

>Senior year of high school like 6-7 years ago
>last week or so of class
>every class period is essentially everyone just hanging around and shooting the shit since all of school was done with
>someone brings their Wii to class with Smash 64, Melee, and Brawl
>some GAMER GIRL going on and on about how excited to she is to play Smash

I want the truth /v/ and no lies
How many years did you waste on this fucking pile of shit?
14 months. 6-10 hours daily
>pile of shit
Don't lie to yourself, it was amazing
I didn't like this game very much but was determined to beat it. My only Phantasy Star Universe game but since the servers shut down I never got to play the sequel thing and find out what happen to Ethan and the gang
Square's new RPG that looks a lot like Chrono Trigger got a new trailer.

This board is nothing but 13 year olds now isn't it.
Why does nobody talk about this game?
Honestly speaking, do you guys really think these two games would've looked a lot better if they were on the PS4/Vita/XBone?
I don't mean stuff like AA, better lighting, etc. but Bayonetta wasn't a graphically impressive game on the PS3 and it didn't sell that well for it to be a good business investment, and while MHP3rd was one of the best looking PSP games, many of Capcom's questionable decisions with MH suggest that they would've re-used most assets from every gen like they've been doing for years now.
Monster Hunter needs to be better at a lot of things, graphics are one.
Bayo 2 was pretty damn good looking, if only it could run at 60fps, though that's something ps4/bone couldn't do anyway.
Bayo 2 would looks like nothing on the PS4/vita/Xbone because it wouldnt exist without nintendo.
I'd love for MH to do some more console centered games, or even a PC game you can play outside of china. Unfortunately CAPCOM's partnership with nintendo makes both of them alot of money, so that isnt likely to happen any time soon.
So I just started playing this again and I never did get around to finishing it so I just started a new game over. Holy shit, did this game ever deserve GOTY. The graphics, the music, the writing, the facial animations, the weather, the voice acting. It's all so fucking good. Makes Fallout 4 look like a sad joke in comparison. MGS V could have been a contender if it was a completed game. Well I just came here to say that. So... Witcher thread?
I just got a 970 and am able to play it on Ultra at 60fps for once.
It still impresses me how gorgeous it looks.
Is this the best example of the Wave Effect on /v/?
>first few weeks, loved and enjoyed as a unique and earnest game that obviously had care put into it
>little more than a month later, shitposting central
Shit sucks. LISA had the same problem
Kind of. The only problem with your idea, is that the shitposting was being spurred by a couple of dedicated autists. Posting the same copy/pasted topics day after day relentlessly. And getting super hostile at everyone for no good reason.
You have them to blame for stirring so much shit. Notice how little Undertale talk is happening now. Because the autists finally got bored of making the same threads. So now we're back to the normal occasional, even-tempered threads.
Which one has more games coming in 2016? 3DS or Vita?
Probably Vita since it gets PC and PS4 multiplats, but Danganronpa 3 and Stranger of Sword City are the only games I plan on buying. I love RPGs but the Vita has a really poor selection quality wise. I'll get a lot more playtime out of my 3DS with Fire Emblem, Bravely Second, Shin Megami Tensei, and whatever else comes out.
