This is your Game of the Year for tonight, say something nice about her.
>build gaming PC
>too poor to afford monitor so just use old 720p TV
>Want to buy actual monitor
>Know exactly what I want but sites don't list if screen is matte or glossy or not
>Don't want to buy glossy screen because I don't want to see my reflection in loading screens while playing Senran Kagura
Anyone else been in this position?
>buy into the build my own computer meme
>save up money from months of working
>realize wtf have i done
>realize video games are a waste of time
>realize i will never get a gf at this state
>realize I'm in debt because of it
>realize I still have to fucking buy Windows 10 because the pirate one will be hax
that last one killed it...

>I'm retarded: the post
You can use computers for things other than vidya, anon. I know, it's crazy!
>I still have to fucking buy Windows 10 because the pirate one will be hax
What the fuck. First of all,
Just pirate 7 or something. Secondly, it doesn't even have to be Windows, but I guess you're too dumb to cope with anything else.
>tfw just finished my 3 page essay on westward expansion
What video games should I play before I start studying for my finals in two hours?
Is god eater 2 any good?
Yes, it's anime as fuck but fun
>People on /v/ actually bought this
Time for adventure, faggot. Which one of these cuties do you recruit to aid you in your quest to slay the Demon King?
>tfw Silent Hill is over
Who else remembers this gem.
Also 2000's games thread.
Sure do. I also miss P.O.D., Death Rally, F-Zero, WipeOut, DethKarz, the N.I.C.E. 1+2, Interstate 76+82 and so many more. The 90s and early 2000s were the best for fun racing games and then people stopped doing fun things with cars and everything devolved into boring realism.
I recently played some early 2000's racing games and the graphics for that age were amazing.The gameplay was nice too.It's like they don't make games the same.It's like it's solely for profit.Or maybe it's just nostalgia speaking.
if they make another jojo game, which characters would you want to see included? i think personally there could be more pt 4, 5, 7, and 8 characters (josefumi, kira, damo, hotpants, literally anyone from the assassination squad, doppio, yuuya, enigma guy, and angelo come to mind for me)
>hit someone with ball
>they get ataxia for short duration
>it prevents certain button presses
Is this the best Castlevania to start with for someone new to the series? Or should I try some of the older or GBA/DS stuff first?
What are some games that really show the superior power of the PC?
>user is now offline
Maybe they'd literally pressed shut down as you sent that message. I've done that a few times, and it's led to insecure faggots like you going "wahh why did you log out, do u hate me :(((((". No dumbass, I just turned my PC off as you sent the message and couldn't respond.
>main dev hates games & wants 2 b movie maker
Nah, he's George Lucas
MGS = ANH
MGS2 = ESB
MGS3 = ROTJ
MGS4 = TPM
MGS:PW = AOTC
MGSV = ROTS
What happened to machinimas?
Died in favor of let's plays and steaming.
Also filming tricks in the games are incredibly dated because no devs put fun film making tools in their games anymore which sucks since during 2009-11 they were really starting to get popular.
>ignis will forever be blind until he dies
Pretty sad tbqh, but I wish there was more emphasis when it actually happened. Instead of him going up to his boy band and saying "shit guys, my eyes fucked up and I got noct out."
>Playing through ME series again
>Realize space rpgs are a dead genre
Will we ever have another game that builds a universe from the ground up? Were your choices actively influence the world? One that lets you travel from system to system with a crew of highly developed characters to dystopian cities like Omega and alien paradises like the Citadel?
Or will every space game become a repetitive, open-world sandbox with no story or objective, like No Man's Sky, filled with dozens of forgettable worlds and characters...
Makes me sad how Mass Effect is the only game that has touched this niche side of gaming.
ME2 whilst heading in the wrong direction was still a solid game, but ME3 and Andromeda are taking it to a new fucking level and going all action and less about the exploration and the sci-fi setting it's in.
Creating a sci-fi world, even full of cliche and with Star Trek's approach to aliens, is no small task. It requires a lot of time, resources, and dedicated team.
Much easier to cash in on another tactical shooter.
Will this fix the complete a bonus stage to save system of the original? I seriously want autosaves. I mean it's current year after all.
>mfw they let you save after each stage
>mfw /v/ will complain about that
Jack I've got a weapon for you. CATCH!
>create legion thread
>dead within 100 replies after 10 hours
yes, legion is this >alive
>playing any version of WoW that is cataclysm or after that
el oh el
blizzard will either give us legacy servers or will stop making money from this fetid rotten corpse that is wow and that has died years ago
>we rather make this thread daily than start a general on /vg/
>that's how retarded this game's community is
How's that new octagonal map treating you, anon?
I always forget I even own this game. I play it for a bit every time I hear about an update worth my time then forget about it again. I think I'm ok. Level 27 or some shit. I stay away from competitive mode though.
ARC? I prefer it to the RLabs one that came out a few weeks ago.
More compact so its less of a pain than the old one. Not really octagonal, more like a diamond.
Is the other new one octagonal?
Honest question, do you think gaming is getting better?
It seems like big budget games are just underperforming left and right; are normies leaving gaming and just spending more time on social medias instead? Do you think we are seeing a slight shift towards more "core" focused games?
Games with the BEST fanart
My english is shit, have patience with translation:
"Guys from internal sources at Square-Enix seems like the game is almost on-hold, development is going on but very slowly. I can't say for sure but for 2017 I expect infos, nothing more."
This was on response to a user making fun on the fact the game might have been re-scheduled for a ps5 release.
God bless Nomura.
Still wouldn't surprise me if it was in a dev limbo like XV was, Squenix has bigger titles to worry about than a rehash they already know it'll make everyone unhappy whatever they do.
I'm not afraid to admit I'm shit at fighting games. I could probably get beaten by anyone.
But I really don't get why fighting games need to have combo executions like needing to swivel the stick around and pressing buttons at the same time.
Instead of having a move be something like: full circle back + punch, why not just have it be, hold back + punch.
Kind of like how super smash bros does it. And yes, I know, "smash isn't a fighting game". But I'm just talking about the execution here. Why need to press back forward...

So this is the power of PCSX2...
>No More Black Splotches!
His PC is way better than mine and I use the 60fps patch.
This game is fun as fuck. I installed it the other day, and I'm enjoying it a lot. I have some issues with crashing unfortunately, but the game itself is cool. It seems that the chance to hit (at least at lower levels) is pretty small, and my melee dude is wrecking shit, but it's fun and satisfying. The atmosphere is great too.
What do you think?
I loved it. I hate that it always gets overlooked in favor of worse games like Pillars of Eternity when people talk about modern CRPGs.
The graphics are kinda bad, but the gameplay is much more interesting.
Pillars sucks, but WL2 is only decent for a single playthrough.
It has 0 replay value.
Which Sonya do you find more attractive?
