So I've heard a new release of the game is out and I've been refraining from buying until now.
Should I, /v/? The game seems fun but I've heard it has performance and stability issues
My PS4 stopped reading discs after only 2 years of use. I barely used it too. Controller sticks are worn to shit. Terrible build quality from Sony.
Is this video games?
Anyone else play through this episode yet? If so, holy shit? The ending? Let's discuss.
As with the previous two episodes, I really like Telltale's interpretation of Batman. I'm surprised about how much hate the origin story is getting from certain groups of fanboys.
I love the design of Lady Arkham and the twist on her true identity caught me off guard.
I just want to keep Harvey pure.
most likely GOTY 2017 senpai
all that little polish is really cool, feels like it's actually an adventure game that's trying to compliment the open world aspect.
Also the level design seems gated enough that you get the benefits of a normally linear level.
Excited to see open world done right.
After being really dissappointed with World of Final Fantasy, I dived into Final Fantasy 9 for the first time and holy fuck is this sick or what.
Just got to Lindblum and I'm walking around the city, talking to all the cute NPCs and visiting all the attractions. It's unbelievably charming and cosy, two buzzwords I've never used before. The FMVs are clearly quite old but they still look stunning, and Steiner and Vivi are so lovely.
Grinding abilities and just having a really great time.
What the fuck happened, WoFF?
That's the impression I got; that the callback characters aren't only there for fanservice, but also to get newcomers to think "oh, this character looks cool, I wonder which game s/he's from"
Was there a better year for gaming than 1998?
Let's have a comfy Age of Empires 2 thread for a while
OP is not a faggot
Age of Conquerors
Which Sims is the best?
> You must have save data for another game in order to unlock content already on the disc
How did Nintendo get away with this?
It's wasn't that bad.
Well holy fuck. Looks like Bethesda trademarked for a Fallout tv series. What does /v/ think of this?
Will you end up using Switch's most prominent feature?
>inventory items don't stack
last night i made a thread debating the validity of a gaming laptop.
because of the feedback i got there, namely that i could buy a decent laptop and gaming PC separately for 1500usd, ive decided to get a basic laptop for school and build a Gaming PC as well.
that being said,
i must be the billionth person to ask this on /v/ but...
how the fuck do i go about that. pic related my only dream is to run MGR on Ultra 60fps
...You build the PC that meets your requirements yourself, looking for best deals on parts that fit the bill, and then look up some decent enough laptop, be it new or refurbished (=used) ?
What you will want is an Intel CPU + Nvidia GPU, 8GB or more RAM, and a good PSU to power it all up.
>running MGR on ultra at 60fps
Metal Gear Rising? That game's old AND a console port. Borderline toaster of 2010s could do that!
That being said, while a built desktop is ALWAYS a smarter, cheaper and more powerful option, some people hold a stupid, baseless hate towards laptops. You can get a very, very fine, gaming capable laptop for less than 700 bucks nowadays, and with those new models running desktop GPUs coming out now, the line's getting even blurrier. Yes, you will still pay more for the portable form factor, and you will sacrifice most upgrading options too, but they can and do perform very well, and very differently from the earlier "gayming laptops" of mid 00s.
Not OP, but how hard is it to build a gaming PC? Ive never built a PC ever, and im computer retarded (grew up without money so couldnt get computer) and i have about 1600$ dollars. Is it hard for a retard?
Just buy a prebuilt from ibuypower or someshit if you're retarded. You only end up saving like $50-100 at most if you build yourself. Plus they test it out so you don't have to deal with DOA shit. Nothing sucks more than ordering parts and finding out one of your parts is dead.
Why aren't you fighting for the Alliance?
>game cover facing towards you
what if it does fail?
Nintendo can afford it.
The wii u didn't even lose money, it just made very little
I want to like video games again
I want to play a multiplayer game and feel cozy and comfy and just fucking enjoy my time
WHY DO I FUCKING GET BORED BY VIDEO GAMES NOW
Let's discuss the Touhou games. Which one are you currently playing?
What are some games where you cant waifu best girl?
somebody at bethesda realized that if they just don't send their games out to reviewers until right before launch, reviewers might not figure out they're totally broken pieces of shit until after people have bought them!
Preview builds are one thing, but reviewers will temper their criticisms if they think being honest will keep them from getting future review copies.
Consumers really need to learn to wait a week to hear what everyone says, and finds gamebreaking bugs, instead of buying Day 1 and finding they threw $60 at something they got bored of in a few hours.
Hello, /v/, it's story-time. Will you join me?
Dont buy dishonored 2
Are you buying Maitetsu when it releases in the West?

If it wasn't a Fallout game, it would've been far more well received.
You can't refute this.
if this wasnt a dark souls game, people wouldnt defend it like hipster contrarians

Titanfall 2 pre-launch "I am definitely not a shill" hype thread
Metacritic: 88/100 average.
Opencritic: 86/100 average.
>But doesn't the game suck ass due to a lowered overall movement speed compared to Titanfall 1?
In Titanfall 2's open console beta this was indeed the case, but Respawn has rectified this in the final build of the game. Here is an example video below showcasing the much improved speed.
>What about Titans lacking...
