>devs can implement always online drm if a custom firmwire ever happens
>modern games already require latest firmwire
>firmwire updates LITERALLY PHYICALLY alter the ps4 mobo thru destroying e-fuses
Modern consoles ended piracy thru a cocktail of anti-piracy solutions

Last time I asked I got 1 reply, and it was to go fuck myself. Lets see if I can do better today.
Used to be the case /v/ agreed on Blizzard and Bioware as "our people" and "the good guys" in vidya dev. This definitely isnt true nowadays, and I thought I'd ask who your favorite developers are. Tried making a poll, but I cant possibly list all without forgetting some, so I'll do free form instead.
Try listing five developers. Here is my top 5, in no particular order:

What are the best lovecraftian video games?
Are there any that feature eldritch abominations like pic related?
You can play as one in skullgirls, though most of it's moveset is it turning into other characters and using their moves.
It's not really represented well in the games but the flood in halo in the lore itself and particularly the forerunner books are honestly some of the best exampels of eldritch elder god cosmic horrors in fiction around..
Has anyone played Squad yet? Is killing dune coons better than ever before?
I'm also interested in people's opinions, how does it differ from PR? Does the gameplay and shooting feel similar?
How so? I prefer PR over insurgency, would I like Squad more?
What the fuck is up with the loot in this shit?
Why make the world such a big place when exploring POIs is fucking worthless?
This is the most fucking pointless open world map I have ever seen, jesus christ.
aside from Read dead redemption and the newly released hard west, can you suggest some old west/cowboy vidya?
i really like the overall theme
What video games did you play today?
I haven't played vidya since starting college this year.
Befor then I only played Stalker, d3 and the Witcher 2.
I don't know why I still come here, I don't even like the memes anymore.
What game could you talk about for 12 hours straight? What game can /v/ discuss to keep this thread alive for 12 hours?
Just built my first rig. Does everyone play their games borderless windowed or in fullscreen?
Is there even a big difference when it comes to performance?
I use borderless windowed all the time because I have two monitors. Borderless windowed lets me click around on it without minimizing the game on main monitor. If you only have one monitor there's no point in going borderless windowed.
Depending on the game you may get worse performance in borderless windowed.

On a scale of 1 to Metroid how dead is your favourite franchise?
What mousepad does /v/ use?
