What is called when what's going on in the bottom left starts happening?
First I started getting red specks, then this.
Recently got a RX 480, is 71C to hot?
Has there ever been an RPG where a high-luck build is actually viable? What's the point of the stat at all?
RO had 60luk and 90luk builds for critical-based characters.
Luk was also a very important stat for crafters.
Low luk is pretty stat efficient for most characters in that game
The big problem with luck in most games is that it's not readily apparent to the player what the impact/implications/underlying mechanics are affected.
10 luck Jinxed unarmed in Fallout 1 is not only broken as fuck but also hilarious
Jinxed causes critical failures to happen more often, but with 10 luck it's far less likely to happen to you and without using guns
Why don't the pros do this? One hit kills, baby!
>thats not how the game is meant to be played
Consider brawl. In brawl theres knockback canceling, so taking risks was generally seen as not worth it and stupid. At 300 everything is gonna kill anyways, so why not pick a safer option. Plus the risker things are even worse. So sure if your into getting killed by marth downtilt 4 times, sudden death could be fun
Post your all time favorite game, don't be dicks if you don't like the game
yo, your favorite game is fo' fuckin' BABIES man. Fuck you.
I YIELD! I YIELD!
Never should have come here
You will argue over anything.
Please help me /v/ my city looks so awful
also, Sim City thread
Try some landscape variation and follow the shape of the land.
Can I post C:S here? This is my latest clusterfuck... an experiment to blur the lines between road and interchange. Also it's paved over a river for some reason.
>perfect games dont exi-
>mediocre to bad
wat? That game was amazing.
I don't remember much about the original but I recall being amazed by the destructible environment. This was around 2001 iirc
Looking to find a game with strategy/rpg type gameplay with a lot of slots to throw in a lot of armor/weapons/loot and a lot of classes to change into.
Fuck, I spent 20 hours on that game and didn't finish. I was having a lot of fun with it, but I think it was because I was facing a lot of difficult decisions at once. Mainly which classes to pick for characters.
The only other SRPG I've played is FFTA.
I've played it like three times through, the second time getting the good ending, and the third getting all the secret classes. Got an N64 emulator on my phone so I could play it on the toilet cause I love it so much.
Played FFTA as well, preferred the PS one better, but probably because of nostalgia
Yeah, I remember having to decide between which classes I was going to acquire and be able to use.
I just remembered one other SRPG I played for the SNES/SFC called Bahamut Lagoon. I don't remember much about it except that you had dragons you could use in combat.
>that kid who tried to double jump in gym class
>that kid who always talked about video games and did a class presentation on FF6
When was the last time you did nothing but play one game all day?
I havn't done this since WoW was good.
What went wrong?
How quickly do you think you could get banned on a game?
What's wrong with only wanting to play PvE/Co-op servers?
Competitive pvp is scary and difficult!
who would win /v/?
payday in defense, rainbow on offense(all dlcs included)
How would gameplay mechanics carry over?
What difficulty is the Payday 2 guys on?
Do the Payday 2 guys get DLC too?
If the Payday 2 guys are set on anything easier than Death Wish, they win. They tank a huge amount of damage. If they're set to Death Wish or harder, then R6, for their mobility and ability to take cover.
what games simulate the best ninja experience?
>load up game
>stare at the screen slightly out of focus
>play on auto pilot while not paying attention really
whats wrong with me?
The game simply isn't engaging to you. It's a sign that it's either a cliche, safe entry in a genre you've already experienced, or perhaps you simply more pressing matters occupying your focus
What game(s) do you specifically mean?
Metroid and FZero should be pushed by nintendo as their "Mature" series with M ratings, to appeal to a mature audience that otherwise wouldn't play Nintendo games for a reason other than nostalgia.
Zelda and Star Fox should be pushed harder to high school teenagers
Why does Crash music sound like it's from a lost Devo album?
Will Sora finally tap that?
>girl with best personality will finally get an active role
nomura you tease
>Adding the rest of the maps for free this Tuesday
>Also adding Gun Game and Hardpoint
And new weapons that weren't in CoD 4
Why aren't you playing this yet?
I just had a long conversation with my friend about frame rates. He told me that he locks all his PC games to 30. How do I deal with this?
I feel lost. We used to be such good friends. Where did I go wrong anons? Where did I go so wrong?
Will I have to put him down?
Sorry anon, you are in fact gonna have to put him down.
Post characters that everyone loves but you can't stand.
>No Webm thread
Time to fix that
..I've never played a Metal Gear or a Zelda game
I disagree completely.
There's clear ups & downs in both series, but there's a good reason why they're so acclaimed and loved. And this is coming from someone who didn't get to play either one of the series before earlier this decade.
Blizzard Mountain is coming out tomorrow and no one is talking about it?
Forza Horizon 3 bread.
New to Dark 3, is it important to go hollow? I'm worried it'll fuck up my game
Whats the best PS3 emulator?
>tfw it's literally impossible to get into hearthstone without spending hundreds of dollars
yesterday i created the basic deck of each class to see how close i am to each golden hero protrait.
of course i forgot to delete them afterwards and accidentally played a round with the basic deck from warlock.
yes. you've read right. screencap this. my single win on rank 20 proves that you don't have to spent a penny on this game.
i did it. you can thank me later
