I'm playing DotA 2 for the first time, is there anything I should know? How is the community? Should I train with bots first?
Do the whole tutorial first, even if you've played other assfaggots before. Dota handles, feels, and flows a lot differently than all the LoL-styled ones (which is all of them except for HoN).
Take a look at Purge's "welcome to dota, you suck" guide too.
Some good starting heroes are viper, lich, sven, and sniper
Play the tutorial. Then play bots on easy. Then play bots on easy with real team mates.
After you find a comfortable character go to All Pick.
There will be shitters. You will be told you suck. Just take what they say and learn from it. Also go to the spectator options and watch the 6k mmr people play. It'll be overwhelming at first, learning the heroes, abilities, items, counters, mechanics, etc. But you'll come to enjoy it after a while.
By the way, carrying is much easier than support. Learn the basic mechanics. Try some carry heroes. When you are comfortable with that try support, mid, etc. The best way to learn is to play every role and every hero
Stay the hell away from meepo, oracle, Visage, lone druid.
Try to play as viper, warlock, silencer, sniper, slatk
Not OP, but is Luna good? I did the guided tutorials with Luna, Sven and Lina but I really liked playing Luna
>Boss is so hard you have to use cheese to win
>boss is a giant mouse
>you have to use cheese to win
>NPC is so hard that you have to cheese to win
That was actually kind of good.
Whoever decided that secret rooms don't count towards map completion is an asshole though. What the fuck is the point of listing an area as 100% complete if there's still secrets in it?
/v/ is usually right. If you like a certain genre and /v/ recommends something in it, it's gonna be good.
/v/ is only 'wrong' when people play games they know they won't like because /v/ recommends it.
If you don't like rts you aint gonna like age of empires ii, that doesn't make /v/ wrong, I know you're out there anon you fucking faggot.
That time that different anons on /v/ said that
Morrowindis better than Oblivion
ITT we say one good thing about Mario, and one bag thing about Mario.
ITT We predict the title, plot, and main antagonist of the next game in this series.
When Neptunia V-2 releases, I'm going to make threads on /v/, and I hope you're going to join me in discussing this game.
You don't feel like the games are kind of barebones games? Like the developers only put the minimum amount of effort in with lazy portrait cutscenes, and a battle system that has evolved since the second one?
MONSTER HUNTER THREAD GET THE FUCK IN HERE
also is attack up or spirit better overal?
Who's your FAVORITE Animal Buddy from the Donkey Kong Country series?
Pic related. Just look at that goofy motherfucker.
would /v/ want a P&S game?
I have a ps4 and a midrange pc (gtx 760, i5), what will give me the superior dark souls experience? The pc version is pretty much confirmed 30fps capped, right, so aside from antialiasing and bullshit reshades there'll be graphical parity we can assume.
The ps4 version has the advantages of: big TV+good sound system+comfy couch (immersion), all my dark souls buddies play on playstation for that sweet co op action, already have PS+ so paying for online isn't an issue
Pc on the other hand will at least average close to 30fps instead of the 25 or so ps4 will...

If the future him knew who the beast was why didn't he just kill him instead of his gf?
Is it worth playing infamous 2 in both good and evil path or should I just skip to the ending and just switch there?
It's kinda boring.
Will I miss anything by doing the 2nd one?
Kessler needed Cole to experience having to make a tough decision. If Cole was going to be the Savior/Ruler he needed to be able to make harsh decisions when it was necessary. He needed to be headstrong if he was going to do what it takes to take down the beast.
As for letting the beast live, I think Kessler wanted Cole to surpass the beast so he kept the beast alive as motivation for Cole to get stronger.
In all fairness though, if you give it enough thought the plot's a bit thin in places
What characters just don't feel like they are not suppose to be in the game they're in?
Not a character per se, but most of Lightning's outfits were ridiculously out-of-place and OOC in Lightning Returns.
>Those little metal things sticking out of the sides of MK's mask where the strap should be to keep it attached to his face
So is the mask just bolted to his face? It's been this way since Brawl.
This really triggers my autism
How do I got gud at pic related. Ive only gotten past 1-2 once
chicken is the easiest imo, the slow shit with the enhancement is retarded strong, but I still die to fucking bullshit explosions
the robot that gets better drops is also rather easy when you get OP weapons and he can eat guns
other than that I don't think you can really cheese in this game
