What PS2 jrpg should I play first?
this is further proof that the wrong kid died
>Nintendo NX has a nice ring to it
>The real name is Nintendo Switch
Why are the codenames ALWAYS better than the real names?
ITT we try to list good things about the Nintendo Switch
Reminder Nintendo can make the most powerful console any time it wants to.
It simply chooses not to.
The real reason companies try to push this 'lol power angle!' is because... well... that's all they CAN do.
They genuinely have nothing on Nintendo.
How do you keep all these games straight, /v/? They all look so alike!
5 0 0 YEARS OF MAN EFFORT
So what are people's thoughts on this? Who's been getting to grips with the multiplayer?
Not sure whether to cop or not. Reviews are good but looking for /v/'s refreshing take.
>Implying this will ever happen.
>ITT: god-tier villains
seriously, is there any better villain than a
Mendendez was a really, really good revision of the Blofeld concept.
All these rich fancy high society people in the Switch trailer. Look at his fucking house.
MY DICK IS READY
who are you gonna play as first? and what type of victory will you go for?
irrelevant to the question. answer it or gtfo
In which TB cries about how a Triple AAA FPS is surprisingly, not 100% realistic.
No, you retard, he's arguing about the fact that this is another MMFPS with a WW1 reskin that glorifies the unrealistic individual accomplishments of one person over the actions of the many.
>Switch won't have dual screen or gamepad screen gameplay elements which will make all Switch games easily ported to PS4 and X1 when it failes
>no decent pirate game to play
And don't bring up Black Flag, because at the end of the day that was still tedious Assassin's Creed bullshit.
>there will never be a pirate mmorpg that's like EVE but with pirate ships instead of spaceships
Why aren't you playing this masterpiece?
I stopped playing the moment all 2v2 matches stopped being clusterfucks of fun and turned into both opponents just sitting at their goal waiting for the ball to come to them. Shame because I really liked the game
Let us take a moment to remember all of the "leakers" who have been absolutely and utterly BTFO this morning.
>handheld with fan cooling
What decade is this?
Lads, it started, Nintendo...they won....
>The Russian DLC will feature a Woman battalion.
Watch it happen
It will likely focus on the African American female pilot known as the "black baron" and her campaign in Europe.
Was Gearbox a mistake?
Please tell me what video game platform is currently your favorite and what you think about the Nintendo Switch (the Nintendo NX).
I have a PC, PS4, Wii U, and a 3DS (and I had an Xbox One), and I'm really curious of the honest opinions of people who aren't biased towards Nintendo.
Personally, I absolutely love what the Nintendo Switch showed. My only concern is what the operating system and online features will be like. If Nintendo can have a more user-friendly operating system, with good online features (a better friends list, in-game voice chat, party/private...

I own a PC and some consoles, the PC being my favorite. Personally, I hate what the Switch represents: esports, tablets, mobile gaming, and sacrificing performance for gimmicks.
I want the option to choose my controller and how I play the game. At no point will you dictate how I enjoy it. This is a rule I will not tolerate being broken.
I think it's awesome. But I am skipping it only became it's tablet sized and not 3ds sized and pocketable.
They can easily fix this by releasing a smaller version but I doubt they will want to.
I own a PC and Wii U.
I like the idea for the Switch but whether its aims will be met is yet to be seen - it also may pose some issues for developers since consumers have several control methods to pick between, and (presumably) the system will get a performance boost from the docking station. I'm also curious over whether they'll still be supporting wiimotes, wii u pro controllers, and gamecube controllers at all.
I suppose not, but will the Nintendo Switch be able to play 3DS games? I've been thinking of getting a New 3DS lately
Based on the Switch video:
>no gyroscope referenced anywhere
>no constant 720p streaming anymore
>no stylus (COULD mean touch screen is removed)
>screen should be about the same resolution as the Wii U GamePad (720p)
Apparently Nintendo learned their lesson and they removed the unnecessary additional production costs for the Switch.
This could mean...

Everyone has a smartphone on their camera.
People who want to socialize cia mic own PCs, not consoles.
Gyroscopy was a gimmick and we're all glad it's dead.
Touch screen will be missed, but they need the console to be cheaper to compete. I'd rather have developers focusing on good gameplay rather than accomodating touchscreen gimmicks regarldess; keep that shit on the 3DS.
Does it annoy anyone else they called it Red Dead Redemption 2?
They had Red Dead Revolver, then redemption, I was really hoping for a badass 3rd subtitle, like Revenge, Returns, or if they really want to be cool mix it up and not even use a word that starts wiith R like Red Dead Ends. I just feel the "2" cheapens the impact of the series.
Perfectly sums up my expactations before the Switch reveal vs my impression after the reveal.
Yes your ass can be fit and slightly fat at the same time. Shocking news i know, it must be hard being an american and only having a fat ass in which you can smell the cellulite from 20km away.
Would it be possible for mechanical keys to simulate what happens when you slightly tilt a thumbstick?
Different walk/run speeds or more sensitive turning when driving for example.
Give me one good reason why Nintendo shouldn't discontinue making consoles and become a third party developer for other platforms.
because, contrary to popular belief, that'd be less profitable for them. By creating their own platform, they can establish their own market on that platform such that their own games can be pushed further, generating more sales.
