is there some sort of formula that makes a game popular or is it completely random?
Now that the dust has settled and people have actually played through it, what's the verdict on Fallout 4?
I enjoyed it. Played it for almost exactly 100 hours, and the last thing I did in the game was to finish off the Brotherhood side ending. Haven't touched the game since.
I spent the first 15-20 hours toying with builds and mechanics and restarting before I settled for a playstyle.
KOJIMA, SONY IS EVIL!
I was looking in the amazon orders list to find my book rental. Saw this accidentally on the first page.
I'm so excited.
>half of people tell me it's great go buy it for 80+ hours of fun
>other half tell me it'll disappoint and that most of the music will cringe you out of having any fun
this game is a risk I can't afford to take
Its not worth it Anon. Remember all the stuff that made the first Xenoblade great? Well it's either been stripped down or removed
Xenoblade X is to Xenobalde Chronicles as Skyrim is to Oblivion
What´s the best game?
>he actually refers to games he doesnt like as autistic
Smh desu senpai
What are some games where you can trick enemies into fighting each other?
It seems strange that Doom, being the huge influential game-changer that it was, is still fairly unique with this feature; I can't think of any action games where you can make enemies battle each other outisde of mind-control abilities.
Most games nowadays have humanoid/sapient enemies and it wouldn't make much sense for them to fight each other over friendly fire. The real question is why don't we have more games with strange beast-like enemies.
In the old original operation flashpoint the AI will register you as an enemy if you kill more than one friendly soldier.
The campaign of the old OFP was pretty open in that regard. You could kill your whole team and finish the mission alone by yourself if you so wished. But then any other friendly tank or soldier would try to kill you.
I've never tried having an NPC kill two of the same faction to see if other NPCs of same faction will turn against the teamkilling NPC.
Brb, reinstalling OFP.
Need some help /v/. For christmas I am treating myself to the ps4, they currently have a nice deal on for it in argos. I get the PS4 with GTA and two games but I don't know which games to get.
Heres a list of them
Rainbow Six Siege, Fifa 16, Uncharted Collection, Last of us, Bloodborne,Until Dawn and Tearaway.
How'd I do
>Every time I see a FF7 post is shitposted to death by either nintendrones, Chronofags or FF6 fanboys or at least that's how they look like by the way they post.
>Thought nobody liked Cloud neither his game
>Suddenly everyone likes him now that he is in Smash
Explain, was "FF7 is bad and Cloud is a bad character" a meme all along?
Final Fantasy 7 was insanely popular so of course people are going to hate on it , Cloud wasnt hated , the film and everything else made into an angsty , broody type which he never was.
This game is amazing good story reminds me of Cave Story
Riddle me this, /v/.
How come that a 2GB 960 is performing on the same level as 4GB 960? Is VRAM not all that important for video games, or is it just that the games presented do not really fully require that much memory so the additional 2GB are not really necessary as of yet?
In a few cases I even noted the 2GB outperforming the 4GB by a few FPS.
But in the Batman part, the 4GB was performing at one point by tens of FPS better (but then it was the latest Batman I think which is as far as I know quite shitty a port).
Silly me forgot the video.
I'm just researching the market at the moment, I plan on buying a new GPU maybe in half a year when Pascal comes out as I'm hoping the prices will drop a bit (as they will anyway, it's 6 months).
I was deciding between 950 and 960, 2GB versions, but anon told me to buy a 4GB version and I think that he may be right, the prices are not all that different (20usd and even less) and it would be more sensible for future investment.
What kinda game u want?
Squad is selling pretty well on Steam...
Is this about to become a new meme game? Next update will probably add survival elements and zombies
Hearing how mics are required for the game, makes me believe in it.
It is the problem that a lot of multiplayer games face, especially mobas.
CSGO is good because if you're playing competitive you're most likely forced to use mic. While in Dota 2 everyone is a passive agressive faggot that pings your lane which means jack shit.
And I don't play BF games but I value comms.
Let's settle this once and for all
Is Sakurai a hack?
Not really. He just panders to the lowest common denominator which is fine. If I was a developer for a AAA title I would want to make sure my game alienated as few people as possible. No reason to design a melee two because it would never live up to the original.
