Atmosphere depth > Gameplay depth
It's all in the map design.
Second most important thing still isn't strictly gameplay, but TECHNOLOGY. After that come the nuanced core mechanics.
>Atmosphere depth > Gameplay depth
According to Undertale, this is true.
>Second most important thing still isn't strictly gameplay, but TECHNOLOGY.
According to Undertale, this is false.
Well there's not an universal formula but said game created a fanbase through imagery and a foothold in a crowd enamored with a well known Japanese series.
TECHNOLOGY comes second because it bears little importance to most people. Some games with outstanding gameplay have very little TECHNOLOGY because it detracts from the experience - you wouldn't be able to have fun in DMC as the devs intended if Dante just sliced through enemies instead of juggling them incessantly.
OK, so there's this boy from a small fishing village
Why did le enfants terribles happen if you could just hypnotize any chump with snakes memories and they become just as good as the real deal?
nobody knew venom would be as successful as he was and he was a fantastic soldier in his own right before the destruction of MSF
les enfant terribles was one of many schemes cooked up by cipher, so it isn't like they thought it was the only way, and it was done to benefit zero whereas venom was done to benefit big boss
Literally how hyped are you RIGHT NOW?
If you've never played this game you need to get the fuck off this board, normie.
>Hey I'm Grump
>I died on 1-1
>And we're on Easy NG+!
>decide to play System Shock 2 because everyone says it's an amazing horror game
>loud techno music starts playing
There's a healthy mix of fast paced and darker ambient pieces.
I fucking love them
>can't play it because it crashes every 15 minutes
I'm tired of this "let's release early, even though only 1% can actually play it without problems" meme
its been pretty silent on their end but i read they were going to release something during this week or next. Which is pretty shit because ive still pushed through the first two island masses in fluctuating fps which is annoying as fuck.
How long until there's a Star Wars moba?
Well this became boring very quickly
Right about the time where they throw all story elements away
There still is story progression, sexing them changes their personalities over time
Essentially they all get mindbroken
Tsundere asks you to be your bf
imouto wants you to be her brother
weirdo likes you because you're even weirder than here
Then at the end there's this big plottwist that I don't want to spoil because you have to experience the retardedness for yourself
it's like japanese shakespear
>it's like japanese shakespear
That webm is making me want to shake MY spear
Their last good game was artificial academy 2.
And the one before that was fucking schoolmate 2 (homemate was alright).
I don't give a fuck about your shittty story, give me archetypical grills and let me go.
What are these things called again?
Witcher 1 thread NOW
I think the character model is fine, only the lighting of the game is off. That's something I genuinely believe can be improved over time. It's not like MN9 where they just started off with lazy models and animations.
Didn't back either game, just spectating from afar.
I know a lot of you have played the JP version with the English patch of Fates or are planning to do so, but those of you are gonna play the NA version with English voices how do you feel about the English voices in the the Corrin reveal trailer? Some of them sounded a bit lackluster but a couple were noteworthy, like Ryouma who's sounds like Matt Mercer. Should we be worried, or can we blame that on a rush job to get them in, in time for the trailer?
