So, seeing how much the Sombra arg sucked, can you give me examples of good args in video games?
Awesome game if you ask me.
What do you think?
How do you pronounce melee?
Just finished this the other week and it's easily in my top 5 for favourite games.
I decided I wanted more so I started playing MOTHER and that has been OK even if most would agree it is grindy as fuck.
Mother 3 looks awesome so I can't wait to play that.
Basically I can't get enough of this franchise and none of my friends give a fuck about it so I am here to enjoy a thread on /v/ about it.
Which is your favourite out of the series and why?
Oh and even though it was borderline autistic I didn't mind farming for the Sword of Kings, took around 6 hours to get it but by then the rest of the game was easy as Ness was 90+ and the others were in the 80+ level range
The third one is my favorite out of the series and downright favorite game of all time so far. Kumatora is my waifu
I guess some people are more lucky than others, I got mine after about 2 hours.
How did this guy go from honest character for new and advanced people in fighting games
To the most cancerous piece of shit in the newest game?
I'm not 100% sure why, but INVARIABLY in videogames the hottest characters are the most cancerous. Mei, Widowmaker, Chun Li, Ryu, Sniper from TF2, etc etc
i guess its because the kind of people who play characters because their dick tells them to are often inherently cancerous.
Last night we had a successful thread, so lets do it again this night with a heavily modded game.
You guys decided what to do.
Should I get this for PC or PS4
both are valid options.
depends on what kind of experience you are looking for.
but be warned, if Titanfall 1 is any indication, you won't be able to play half the game modes 6 months after release.
Isnt xenoblade a single player mmo, why do people recommend this ??
Here's what Nintendo needs to do with their next console.
Make it Animal Crossing.
Let me explain.
Animal Crossing is a huge seller in both Japan and the West. Bundling the game with AC would be their best bet honestly.
But they can't just bundle it with a traditional Animal Crossing game- no, the console has to be literally an Animal Crossing MACHINE. Both Microsoft and Sony have jumped onto the social media boat, with the ability to share shit directly to facebook and twitter. Nintendo could do this too- but with Animal Crossing.

I really like it. Have the whole interface be its own peculiar thing like Mario Paint.
I'd bust a nut if when the system boots up you're in your Animal Crossing room and you have to interact with your little console to play games.
Wasn't the original game like 18mb? That would be nice, press the home button and you're in your animal crossing home, go outside to play animal crossing or stay inside for settings and to set up your house.
You could put the game files as in-game items to display and play when you walk up to them, like the old NES from the first one.
Which client/game/thing do you guys use to play quake?
I want to play a fast shooter.
I haven't even tried Quake 1 multiplayer in years, so perhaps check Quakeworld? Quake Live might not be the greatest game, but it's a faster shooter that plays somewhat like the God king Quake 3 Arena.
Also, remember to set gl_texturemode to 1 to get non-blurry textures.
name a better female protagonist.
pro-tip: you can't.
If there was an active and stable LoL private server running some patch around the season 1 or 2 era, would you play it?
Probably, I joined late 2013, so I'd like to see what it was like back then.
Actually, you know what would be awesome? If Riot made it in the coming sandbox mode, that you could go back to any past patch.
I wanna play something new lads.
>1-2 GB at max
>For a +5 year old laptop
thanks for the help.
I've never played New Vegas and want to kill some shit. I already played 3 so I know I'll enjoy the game; I don't want to change any of the core gameplay or world.
Are there any major graphics mods I should get or should I play the game vanilla? I don't mind last gen graphics (played 3 on 360, just built a PC so I can handle whatever). Is it a buggy piece of shit without mods?
Unofficial patches only if you want vanilla experience.
I highly recommend you play vanilla so you can see all the shills are full of shit and it's not perfect, it's just a really good game.
"In fact...it is very good"
Update: IGN and Gamespot also up. Same overwhelming praise. Are people going to still pretend this game won't be good?

Which one /v/?
I couldn't find the smaller version, so I got the Monster Hunter New 3DS. The screen kind of wiggles left and right. It's very annoying.
Mine's shiny, beautiful paint started to chip off. I hope it never happens to yours. It may have something to do with longer play sessions where the bottom case gets some sweat and precious body fluids
ve been debating buying a Vive since pre-orders opened up almost a year ago...
Do I just fucking buy one or what? Should I wait at this point for whatever new version they inevitably make spring 2017? Or is the occulus better now that the controllers are out?
TLDR: Vive = buyer's remorse or no?
What's worth getting a PS4 for, So far it's just Bloodborne and maybe Infamous and Rachet?
Other than that, I've got nothing.
Yes, I know about Yakuza 0 and I want it, it's the real reason I'm tempted to buy one, but no games that aren't out yet.
None of the exclusives are worth it. I play mostly multiplatform games. BB is good but it isn't astounding. Yakuza 0 looks fun and I want the last guardian to be good but I know it will be shit. Also don't fall for the neo naughty dog meme all their new games post Crash Bandicoot are just abysmally overrated .
What'd you make today, progress? Post it!
I certainly did make progress and absolutely didn't wallow in self-loathing over how shit I am at level design.
>The joke character is the final boss
ITT: Tetris Effect
>be playing stealth run of crysis for several hours straight
>decide to take a break
>take a few steps
>realize i should stop for a second and let my suit energy recharge
>suddenly realize how stupid that sounds
>playing Gran Turismo 3 on an old CRT all day yesterday
>if I lose visual focus everything starts warping and twisting around
>close my eyes
THATS the tetris effect OP. Youre just referring to autism
What games have the most diverse, complex and satisfying realtime melee combat?
So is this Marston's old gang? John would be the only decent outlaw compared to those other pieces of shit.
Should I do it?
Finally finished the true ending. Both endings were sort of goofy and Moon Shadow just sort of felt out of character for most of the true ending.
That last fight was pretty satisfying though, and the one before being a boss rush was neat. Fuck fighting that chicken though.
How long did it take you to get all those?
And how can I do the same without going crazy and bankrupt?
Roughly a week I guess. And the idea is to go bankrupt, as there's a trophy for spending a million points at the printer, which I didn't get cause I'd just bet 100 at a time.
what went wrong?
Nothing really. Black bars were an issue but I guess that was fixed on PC and the story got retarded at the end. I think the DLC fixed that. Also probably high expectations from Mikami fans maybe?
So what's your favorite Resident Evil enemy? Bosses count too.
