Can we agree that PSO is the one of the few decent MMOs out there?
DS1 is on sale for £5 on Steam, and so is DS2 for £7.49. Should I buy? Also general DS discussion
What is the absolute worst boss fight in a Western game that you can think of?
Never ever pcucks.
MAFIA 3 is exclusive PS4 game.
First: Replace that shitty Werehog with Knuckles. His gameplay would be a fast paced beat 'em up. People would like that instead of turning Sonic into some Maximum!Furry-Hulk.
Second: Kill off Chip or change his character into something less annoying and retarded. Light Gaia could have just been something Sonic and Knuckles had to awaken to stop Dark Gaia while they put the world back together.
Third: Fucking have the world being torn apart relevant to the plot and levels. Yeah, I know you guys are going to say "Story doesn't matter in Sonic!"...

with dishonored 2 right around the corner, i've been thinking about stealth games.
i never finished dishonored.
now trying my best to get through it.
but to be honest, i really start hating first person stealth.
i just prefer the style of tenchu/MGS/Splinter cell so much more.
anyone else feel the same?
or am i the only one disliking singleplayer FPS games?
I think the first person perspective gives it that spooky factor, makes you a bit more cautious about your movements and in Dishonored's case immerses you really well into the game world.
I'm a huge dishonored fanboi though so I'm biased
Street Fighter V lobby thread
last thread hit bump limit
im an idort
If it was Bayo1 I'd agree, but Bayo2 is easier than 1 and took out a lot of mechanics while adding nothing significant, plus it changed witch time from being a crutch to help you git gud to being something you have to rely on, not to mention it locks characters with unique playstyles behind a dead co-op mode, when they would have added a lot to the single player campaign so I have to give Bloodbourne the upper hand.
Shit accessories from the 90s early 2000s are back.
then i look forward to building the tower of power again
Why do we hate Steam Big Picture again? It looks and works much better than PS Store.
What does /v/ think? Will valve ever release another game? Why or why not?
No. The company is profitable with steam alone. Releasing a game is more likely to harm their image, especially with all the bloated expectations that would come from just being a Valve game.
I think they were banking on VR being a breakout hit and were making hl3 and l4d3 around that but now it has mostly failed so they are revising their plans. Expect something christmas next year
yes, they want to make sure H:L3 is good when its released. also source 2 is barely out
>mario 64 had a working mirror in 1996
>mafia 3 has a 0.5 fps mirror in 2016
>games released this year even had no mirror, just a metal texture
what the fuck? if fucking mario had mirrors in the fucking90s, why the fuck cant new games have them? it cant be that hard if fuking nintendo can do it?
>a fucking 2d game had a working mirror?
lol, why cant modern games do this?
fucking retards these days
>character talks about a creature being a myth
>doesn't actually exist in game
>Supernatural force talks about mythical fight between a daemon and a monster
>It may or may not be a reference to the fact that you might or might not be sum of them both
>Protag's party member was the evil villain all along
ITT: GOAT artstyles
Well I mean if you can keep a higher resolution in some areas without drops, why not do it? Sure it can be kind of jarring, but it's making the best it can out of the situation. Preferably there'd be no drops or lowering of anything, but we're dealing with shit like toasters, and consoles that may as well be toasters.
Is it a coincidence most pigs in videogames are evil?
>Playing Far Cry 2
>get job to destroy a weapons shipment >lie in wait with RPG
>convoy passes >RPG misfires
>rocket just falls to ground and spins in circles on the dirt road
>Blows up right when the third car drives over it
Why don't more games do this /v/?
I don't know if it's just me, but I feel that those small, random chances of failure can really add to the excitement.
YOU ARE THE OCEAN'S GREY
Fire Emblem Thread
On chapter 17 of conquest. The debuffs are unavoidable and saizo just may be the most retarded ninja of all time.
I figure I have to activate the pillars at the right time to impede his progress right?
What does /v/ think about the Xbox One?
I don't have to touch shit to know I won't like it.
It's inferior to PCs and that is literally the only reason you need to not waste your time or money on it. Any other reason is icing on the fat truth cake
What does /v/ hope to see in the Pyro update?
I want something that will give the Pyro a new playstyle. All he can really do is W+M1 or flare combo. Something like a chainsaw primary and a phyco axe melee.
This is a Japanese donkey
Only /pol/ fags will disagree, other than the technical problems, this game is fucking great, both story and gameplay wise.
Fuck this driving is great, and the story is fucking 20-30 hours long.
When the technical problems are fixed, the game will be fucking GOTY
I think that consoles are better than PC for local multiplayer, but lack in the singleplayer and online multiplayer environment. Discuss.
Yo what are some RPGs with political plots on the same level of Suikoden II? It could be either Western or Asian.
>see Uncharted 4 user reviews
>175 negative reviews
>check their profiles
>most of them are nintentoddlers and xbone users
>spam negative reviews on Uncharted
>spam praise reviews on Nintendo and Xbox exclusives
This is the current state of localizaions
so what is the best weapon in chivalry and why is it the halberd?
Let's have a thread to remember the games played as a kid that we can't remember. I'll go first
>combat was like god of war but you used a shield to attack, you could throw it, wack people with it, etc.
>one of the first bosses was a giant statue where you threw your shield at him then once he slammed his fist you hit his arm
I don't really remember anything else besides going up some windy stairs; also never played much of it
>I play games in windowed mode
