How are some game previews completely different from the actual game that gets released? Are all the NPC movement, "cinematic effects", and other stuff that won't ever happen in game naturally just scripted into the game engine?
Radiant AI is fucking stupid. It sounds great on paper, but in practice it just means the NPC you're looking for has fucked off to another town for no reason and got in a fight with a bear along the way and is now dead and now you can never finish the questline.
What would you say are the "must play" PS3 games?
inb4 ps3 has no games
What are your thoughts on the Jak and Daxter games?
This good v?
Did we finally get a decent new SaGa game?
Play the demo. It's a pretty good representation of the game. It takes about 2 - 3 hours to beat and if you like it enough, you can carry over your save data. The game in general is between 15 - 30 hours per character depending on what you do, and the entire thing is governed by RNG.
That being said, the general consensus, like all SaGa like games is that you'll either love it or loathe it.
How did this win game of the year?!
Why did resolution and framerate become such a big deal? Five, ten years ago, this shit never came up. We just talked about the game.
Now its all about muh 1080p/4k or lmao 30fps 30fps!
peopl stopped caring about the game itself
just the numbers
people argue over who has a better experience, over who has more fun
yet they are too busy analyzing the game to truly have the most entertaining experience possible
>p c u c k
>s o n y g g e r
>a l s o x b o x s u c k s
>n i n t e n D O N T ahaha
but in the end
videogames are shit
Have these guys ever made a good video game?
Alright, /v/, I've been offered a position as assistant manager at a Gamestop...and I'm not entirely sure I want to take it. I'll make more money than I make at my current job, but having to deal with dudebros who don't know about shit but Call of Duty as well as the basement dwellers who only crawl out of their caves to get more games and restock their Doritos and mountain dew supplies sounds torturous. Anyone ever worked at GS and have experiences to share/encouragement/discouragement?
side note, it wouldn't be a permanent career or anything. I am a college student and I major in Journalism and IT. So even if it would kinda suck, it would only suck for about 2 years
What's your favourite weapon /v/? Pic related for me. Wipes out entire Gunner encampments in a few seconds.
This one is my second most favourite. Though it's not as effective as the Savage Rotary in terms of pure killing ability.
>Earth and Wood are separate elements
>Earth is weak against Wood
Hello, people of the /v/. I've been on this big Fire Emblem kick lately, and I've replayed everything from FE6 to FE13. However, Ive never played anything pre-FE6, and I wanted to get started on FE4 because I've heard nothing but praise about the game.
After trying to understand and figure it out for a while, I just can't seem to get how the combat works. I like the fact that the post-FE5 games give you the details without having to calculate stuff, but going back without those is completely game-changing to me.
My question is, how the hell...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
You're gonna have to do some really basic math in order to play FE4 and 5. If you can't do that then you're fucked anyway since those games are more difficult than what you've played so far.
Is this the most unnecessarily long and absurd game title of all time?
Why do people hate him

I live and die by my CECHE01. By far the most versatile console created. Give me one good reason why it isn't.
