Which CT version is the best one? I never finished
The DS version is ideal unless you're a purist. Even then it's still pretty ideal because the script is much closer to the original Japanese one, instead of Woosley's personal interpretation.
Really as long as you're not playing the PS1 version, you're good. Even the mobile version is preferable - it's just the DS version without a second screen.
Like >>352214215 said though, it's meant to be played on a nice grainy CRTV.
The DS version is the perfect one. You get an optional Magus dungeon, they fixed a lot of translation errors etc.
One thing some people dislike is that Frog doesn't use ye olde English when he speaks - this is because he never did that in the original Japanese version of the game. Pretty much this is the only thing people ever argue about, since besides that the DS version is pure 10/10.

Maple story, good times
Is the PS4 worth a fuck? My brother is considering getting one for KH3. Are there any games on the system that are worth playing that I can't just get on my PC?
Just finished Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, I liked it a lot.
Should I bother playing the sequels?
How will Undertale be remembered? Right now it's seen as the defining game of the generation but I mean in the future.
Will it stand the test of time?
The dust has settled? Can we talk about it without shitposting?
Why this piece of shit was up for preorders in my local game store (maybe the only one in all the capital) while they never had for SMTIV: Apocalypse?!
Just what went wrong
I have 4 steam accounts that are premium in tf2. I don't use them for a long time, and i don't have any intentions in use them. I'll be changing the email to a tenminutemail email, and then share the info in here. First to come first to serve. Stay tuned, I'll post one by one.
HEROINE OF DEATH STRANDING, NORMAN's LOVE INTEREST
WHICH ACTRESS WILL IT BE, BASED ON THE CONCEPT ART?
It isn't Joosten you fucking weaboos
What the actual fuck lads? What went wrong? I still get chills watching this trailer but the game was just...
Man it feels good to not be a nostalgiafaggot. What a miserable life that must be.
What's his name again?
Hey /v/ just picked up the ps4 port of Warband and HOLY SHIT IS THIS GAME IRRITATING.
So can anyone give me some insight on how to not suck at this game because the guides aren't doing it for me. For the past hour I've been trying to level up recruited peasants but every time I try to go get more or travel a longish distance I get steamrolled by bandits or deserters with way better armore/weapons.
Then I'm alone and killed, then taken prisoner behind enemy lines and rinse and repeat. I trying to rationalize that I made the right choice by dropping...

The speed of your party is dependent on the size of your force (as well as pathfinding skill and having spare horses in inventory to carry heavy items if you're carrying any). In some regions the independents are weak and can be managed with fresh recruits (looters, forest bandits) but elsewhere they are much more powerful (steppe bandits, sea raiders). It might be prudent to relocate to safer areas.
However, if you want to have a quick start, you should ignore peasant troops initially and get some money on your own (no enemies can catch you, so you can trade, do...

For the beginning parts of the game your focus is making your character stronger, try not to worry too much about building an army.
Go to the arena and practice fighting until you feel like you've gotten good.
Participate in tourneys, bet money on yourself and accumulate wealth to purchase better armor/weapons for your character.
Once you get a strong main character you start recruiting peasant tier soldiers and start fighting bandits. If you are skill enough try the Nord bandits because they are the most profitable to kill; they are the toughest however.
I don't feel like giving any more tips so good luck.
>character gets mad
>destroys a mirror
>it reveals plot important information
>you have to find an obscure hole in the floor to fall through in order to advance the game
>Obvious betrayer is about to betray you
>No option to fuck his shit up
>Have to watch as me and my entire party get shocked and destroyed
What happened at point T?
>35,000 Damage Blocked
>8mins on objective
>Team still loses
>Not voted player of the game
Why are you still playing that shit if you care about teamplay and winning? It's already fell apart and turned into every-man-for-himself deathmatch shit
RUN DMC RYU COSTUME CONFIRMED
What vidya let me fight with water?
So, how's that Anniversary Edition /v/?
> No Forza thread
It's out in less than a week. Let's talk about Forza Horizon 3.
What car are you going to main? I'm maining pic related.
Dynamic weather with actual difference in driving conditions. Jungley off road sections. Create your own events feature. Coop campaign. Crossplay with Xbone and PC. Graphics that look good.
It's more of the same really, just with a new environment; graphical tweaks, slightly better weather (It now uses the 3D puddle system from Forza 6), more cars; larger map; etc etc.
YOU FUCKING CAN'T[
>complains about piracy
>buys used games
Nintendo NX is another gimmicky tablet with detachable controllers. I saw the presentation video during a closed conference (anyway it's being streamed to public this week), and I must say: they never learn. It's Wii U 2.0 folks.
The video starts with a quick history from NES to Wii U, showing all generations that grew up playing Nintendo consoles. Then the screen goes white with big "2017" gray numbers in it. It stays like that for a couple seconds, then you see the actual console name (which is not NX, I'll keep that as a secret now, it starts with the letter G). Then Reggie comes in, holding its tablet controller, talking about what they achieved with the Wii U, saying how it changed the way we play games and stuff. He says we're about to take a step forward and gently holds the tablet controller in his hands. Some goofy CGI do the job of detaching the screen from the buttons, for a moment it feels awesome, but I couldn't help: it's somewhat deja vu. Then the demo video starts, showing three friends playing on the couch, one is holding the screen, touching it, the other is holding the controller bit which haves the buttons, and the third person is holding his smartphone. They're all playing some new IP which we haven't seen before, looks a bit like Pikmin but it has some blocky robots collecting rocks from a crater (looks like a moon). The demo goes like that for about two minutes, shows some neat charts about its compatibility with 3DS and Wii U (yet unclear) and then it cuts back to Reggie.
I found it nice you can use your smartphone as a third screen for your games. An official app is required and they didn't say anything about compatibility yet, but you can bet iOS devices are getting full initial support like always. This function allows some games to share information with your phone and lets you manage your shared information on Miiverse much easier than pressing the home button and waiting the app to open like you do it on Wii U.
I'm not disappointed or excited, they did a good job, but this new machine definitely isn't a groundbreaking product as we all are expecting. We've already seen a lot of these concepts on other systems.
What's your favorite JRPG series? SRPGs welcome.
Megami Tensei and Dragon Quest, fun games with fast gameplay
EO is good too
Btw when I was kid I thought FF was the shit but after replaying the series again recently, is probably the most boring RPGs I ever played (I can't stand FF PS1 games, especially FF9). Music still is great though, FF4 is my fav ost in the series
YOU GOT ME THE EXPANSION PACK! THE EXPANSION PACK, ANDY! I NEED THE GAME! IF I DON'T HAVE THE GAME, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO EXPAND UPON?
I knew you were incompetent, but I guess I overestimated you.
>wanted game so badly
>so much time has passed since the game came out that there's an expansion for it out
>complains to a person that was trying to do something nice, who otherwise doesn't give a shit
Kevin was a dick.
Why aren't you playing the fighting game of the year?
Will this PS4 avatar ever be topped?
>465 hours on records
Who are YOUR favorite video game villains, /v/?
Nefarious is a blessing and a curse. He's tons of fun in 3, but his inclusion in the remake is terrible.
