What compels people to do this?
fallout 3 and 4 are canon you in-bread neanderthals
Are RE5 and RE6 worth buying if I loved RE4?
I liked RE4, and in my experience I really enjoyed RE5. I don't think it diverts away from RE4 too much gameplay-wise. As for RE6, I got it with a friend and played through the first story mode and ended up hating it. I think it had gotten too action-y.
RE5 is a good game, especially in co-op. It's not RE4-tier, but still pretty good.
RE6 has some good shooter mechanics wrapped in an atrocious story mode. It's only really worth playing for the mercenaries mode (which is more or less enjoyable depending on how autistic you are about high scores). I wouldn't spend more than maybe $10-15 on it.

how will you get past the knight and get the treasure?
How do your family members react to the stuff you play/stuff that happens in the game?
>Dad watches me play Phantom Pain
>goes "Oh for fuck sake" every time something unrealistic happens
>dad used to play serious sam with me all night

Berserk game when? It should seriously happen. The PS2 games were only decent, really.
If not are there any games that can make me feel like the badass in pic related?
>there will never be an open world Berserk game like The Witcher taking place post-Golden Age where you take on side quests to track and hunt down demons as Guts, there's a day/night cycle and you have to sleep to rest regularly with always a chance of being rushed by something at night or entering a shitty nightmare you have to deal with, a precise gore system that rivals MGR, 3rd person hack and slash combat that changes to over-the-shoulder TPS when you pull out the cannon arm, and meanwhile Puck narrates and chatters in your ear throughout the game
Dragon's Dogma is the game you're looking for if you want the weighty but powerful Great Sword combat. If you want Berserker Armor crazy leap around the screen while being edgy as possible, go for Metal Gear Rising.
>statist and anarchist
and this thread went to shit fast
Should I buy this?
I never played any of those, because I grew up with JRPGs and not with CRPGs. Seems like the perfect chance to catch these games up, but I don't know if they are still enjoyable in 2015?
I don't even know if I like CRPGs in general but I definitely want to try at least one of those games sometime.
There are also Enhanced Editions of BG1+2 and Icewind Dale out there, should I better go for that?
Long story short, I've got a roomate who only plays shitty shooters OFFLINE, we've got a PS3 and Xbox 360 between us, and he wants to play a "new" game when we get back together when he's off from uni.
What game do I get? Puzzle, strategy and RPG are definitely not options, but other things could be considered. He almost got Black Ops 3, but then he realised that the last-gen versions have no Campaign.
I considered pic related, but I've held an interest in the series for a while and wouldn't want the first game of it that I play...

MGSV is mostly disconnected from the rest of the series as a whole and what little story there is is shit. It does not at all "wrap things up" conclusively in a satisfying series end, so you shouldn't worry about that. But it's a real grind of a game and you have to repeat multiple missions to get to the end.
Is Fallout 4 within his boundaries of an acceptable game? It barely has any RPG elements anymore besides perks and stats, roleplaying is all but gone and it has very limited dialogue options.
Black Ops 3 would be perfect if you could get it on a current generation console. It's honestly pretty good for a shooter in this day and age and it has some good co-op modes.

Hmm, that's one candidate then.

I'd hate to say it, but it's probably not. If it's at all RPG, it's a no. To make matters worse, we play with a old school "if you die, you pass on the controller rule" so I doubt Fallout would be wise for that.

Yeah... that's the problem.
Why is /v/ so edgy & shun the only legitimate faction?
Koei sucks at serious storytelling and musou is shit in general
Kessen 2: 2 when?
runs away, prolongs the chaos, plays babyfootball
would have ended the chaos if not for cheap fire attacks, already half finished by the time the other two even start, doesn't kick babies heads
Mouse is starting to double click hard so I think it's time to get a new one.
I'm currently using a G400s, but the Deathadder is half off on both newegg and Amazon, while the G400s is still normal priced.
Is the Deathadder worth $40 or should I just shell out $60 for another G400s?
I used to just get cheap rando $10-$20 mice but they would go in less than 6 months. I put the money out there for a G400s in 2012 and it hasn't steered me wrong until now, probably due to wear and tear.
Just got a Ps4 what games do I need v
