What are the best examples of 'Inventory Tetris' out there?
What's his name again?
this is a Japanese PC gamer
Which one, /v/?
that's an interesting question, anon. but first
Nostalgia blinded retard here
I played SM64DS recently, as well as when it was released. Loved it, got all 150 stars and had a great time. The game itself is far superior, but the controls were just not the same and can't stack up to the N64 original.
And don't tell me to use that stupid thumb strap thing
theres no such thing as a perfect conso-
>DUDE ARTIFICIAL DIFFICULTY LMAO
I thought after Itagaki left, they would change their ways but no, Nioh is just as bullshit as Ninja Gaiden.
Fuck this meme studio.
I don't even know what the fuck this term even means, really. Is something difficult or not? Calling a case of difficulty "artificial" doesn't really mean much. The better question is whether it's difficult in a way that's compelling. I realize this is just semantics, but "artificial difficulty" has always struck me as an imprecise term.
So I just beat The World in Conflict Campaign
and holy shit. That was the best RTS campaign I've ever played. Ever.
Why isn't there a sequel to this gem of a game?
lack of mod support kills the length a game survives
playing infantry tho, unlucky sods
try the add-on
What is the Escape From series of video games?

Anyone else think that Persona 5 will have a bigger cultural impact on gaming than Final Fantasy XV?
I'm sure FFXV will sell more thanks to brand recognition and a fuckhuge budget; but in the end I think Persona 5 will go down in history as the more "important game". Square talks about FFXV being some kind of "last stand" for japanese gaming, as if it has something to prove. Problem is that Persona 5 seems to be doing a way better job at making japan seem relevant. Everything about P5 seems "tight", like there truly is a vision behind...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
it's funny you should say that when the interface is unreadable garbage with no font/size consistency and the post-battle screen has the MC literally run around in circles. To me it looks it's been rushed with zero effort put into actually designing anything despite taking the better part of a decade to make
ITT: games that are overrated as fuck
Why aren't you playing Paragon, /v/? It has actual graphics.
I'm too scared to sleep in my room, anon! How about switching rooms? Please?
Oh, its cool, I'm the most generic main character ever so you might as well speak for me as to what my next action is.
Paz > Quiet
Can get behind this
Paz is cuter
How do we revive the turn based genre?
>turn based genre
What genre exactly? I think there's some turn based strategy games coming up.
Anyways, please explain the appeal of suikoden's gameplay to me. Seems like it's pretty shallow and bland.
It's alive and well on PC
There's tons of blobbers with a party of 6
Are kneeling chairs any good for PC gaming? I actually broke the backseats of my last two chairs because of how much I slouch.
Do you actually enjoy doing alchemy and potion making in fantasy games?
I honestly don't have the patience for it. It's not interesting or engaging ever and always tedious. But I've played only 3 games featuring it. How about you?
>Chemist is one of the best classes in Final Fantasy
>have no idea what combinations do what
>can't be bothered to waste items figuring it out without a guide
>never touch class again
The only game I could stomach alchemy for was Star Ocean 3. I could craft a pair of shoes that buffed my attack and move speed, which I could then graft onto a weapon, multiple times, and break postgame in half.
What did she mean by this?
YFW the actress who did her voice is DFC
Finally beat this game. What were your thoughts on it? I really enjoyed the story but felt the gameplay was a bit too long.
Also, as much as I felt bad for Simon, Catherine warned him about the way the brain scans work. Multiple times.
I really wanted to like the game, and I did, but the monsters felt really forced and tedious. I can't get past the first chase scene with the brute (?) that causes that horrific static shit on your screen because it literally gives me nausea on top of being just annoying and grating in general.
As an addendum the monsters felt tacked on because they just weren't scary or really seemed to cause any sort of tension. They were either so easy to get by they might as well have not been there or were a tedious slog. The game did body and existential horror well but the monster sections added literally nothing. They weren't scary and they weren't fun.
Yeah that first chase is seriously frustrating. I completely understand. They have quite a few of those in the game, too. I felt like they could've shortened it up by two, or maybe even three sections and it would have been a much better game.
The abyss level in the deep sea freaked me right the fuck out though. Something about walking on the ocean floor in pitch black, with a raging storm hitting you. Terrified me more than anything else in the game.
Is SH2 even canon?
ITT: We Write a letter to Peter Molyneux
It just won't feel right on PC.
what's the last game you bought /v/? I just bought this and waiting for it to come in.
I just ordered the phsyical version of Rainbow Moon.
I heard the game was decent, so I was like eh why not.
You're in for a treat.
Overwatch was the last game I actually paid for, since all the other games I've gotten since were either free downloads or were gifts. If you count those, then Warriors Orochi 3.
What's the worse example of unnecessary censorship in gaming?
no decapitation on the japanese version of Resident evil 4
What the fuck? This fight is fucking bullshit. This nigger is way too fast and aggressive to dodge and I dont even get a shield in this game?
There is nothing in this game that's too fast for you to dodge.
Your dodge and rolls have I-frames. Invincibility frames. A limited period where you take no damage, and can phase through attacks unharmed. Learn the timing, and you'll never get hit.
Any video games that allow you to woo the girls with swag'n'class?
>check her instagram
>it's full of pictures of her hugging chads
What a whore
Also she has a disgusting scar on her stomach that she keeps showing off
im PISSED the FUCK OFF
I want to KILL SOME CUNTS as viscerally as possible I want to bash their heads flat until my mouse is worn out
I just beat this. Did i like it?
No. You liked it at first because the quests seemed special and the stories were detailed.
But as the game passed you noticed that the quests follow mostly the same pattern.
You lost interest in the main story after the baron died and rest just felt really fucking boring.
