What are the best games for LOOTING, ADVENTURIN', and TREASURE HUNTING? Plus points for having tons of collectibles, hoards where you keep your valuables, and having mechanics based entirely around loot.
what the fuck is youtube gaming implying? no wonder why their site is dead
Just about to boot this up. Should I be evil or good, lads? What's the best route?
What game isn't the victim of autistic hate at this point? Every new release is met with the same vitriol and a lot of companies realize how much entitlement there is in this industry and are bailing. Gamers are ruining their own hobby by being greedy, selfish, unsatiable, etc. Finding issue is every single game, using these often times miniscule issues as a reason to "stick it to the devs" ensuring that they won't be making games after this gen.
I'm gonna buy a used PS4. What are the potential drawbacks, if any?
Do you play vidya with your big sister /v/?
>Post YFW you didn't buy No Man's Sky
Just got Dark Souls 3 today. I normally go for a Str/Int build, but I was thinking of trying something different this time. What's a fun build to use for this one?
I went into a university start party. The only nerdish guy I met told his favourite games are Skyrim and Fallout 4, he browses Reddit and 9gag.
Should I befriend him?
>here's your controller bro
So which one of these are actually a must-own?
>have to play as some bratty, kpop looking manlet with stupid hair and clothes
>not this suave motherfucker
What went wrong?
You mean not as this motherfucker?
Can we all agree that he's the patrician Mario Kart character?
>40$ instead of 60 because its a new IP
Not even Nintendo are doing this but MS is. Not to mention new Zelda looks generic as hell.
Really makes you think...
>female protagonist who narrates all her actions despite being alone
>directed by Keiji Inafune
What is /v/ take on Augmented reality in video games? Do you think it will open doors for more inovatives games?
>Will a new technology open up new opportunities for anything?
I think augmented reality is way more interesting than VR, but VR is super easy since it's not really a mechanic or anything. It's like how tons of games have a red/blue or red/green 3D option enabled even well into 2016, it's just a switch you have to flip on and the game has a little more depth to it.
There aren't all that many games where you can play as an undead, are there?
I only remember MediEvil and Stubbs the Zombie, along with the Disciples and HoMM games but those are more TBS related games rather than just playing as a character who happens to be undead.
Is there anything else out there?
Why do we hate Yukari again?
>Boss fights were one of the weakest parts of HR
>Now we get this
Greatest boss fight in videogame history
What's the vidya equivalent?
Is there any game that you really wanted to like but you just can't for some reason?
what do you think of MOBA's?
once i mute everyone in the game, I have fun. What is it about MOBAs that bring out the worst in people?
Typically being caged with people who tend to shift blame to anyone else so everyone doesn't blame them for their weight of the team. Everyone expects everyone to be hostile as shit so when someone says anything it's seen as hostile
First let me preface this with the fact that I've never played psychonauts and only know the game from videos and what people tell me.
What makes this:
Literally I cannot fathom a world where people actually think the line "I am the Milk Man, my milk is delicious." is funny or amusing in any way. Whenever I ask people why psychonauts is so good, they point me to this scene and say "nuff said" and I just stare at them like they're retarded. Is it like a "LEL so randum...

THEN WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE GODDAMN GAME
I'll take an MMORPG, western style, heavy on the lore with a focus on group content and a dash of PVP. and make it fun.
What's the key to making a good game?
Do you try to reach a wider audience by making the game as homogenized as possible?
Or do you meticulously pound your game into something that a very narrow niche will love?
Why is your stupid bullshit graphic mixing up elements from different game genres like that's the key for the perfect game?
Can you imagine every movie trying desperately to cover every genre ever existed in movies?
actual triple a games do that
fucking sandbox worlds
leveling and progression akin to RPGs
inventory management and the same fucking crafting system in every game
like all of those games wanted to make a mini skyrim or something
So this is a thing apparently. How are those games?
they confirmed multiplayer is still there, which is great
Blanc is just an upgrade to U, so it depends how you felt about that game(not counting dress break)
Trillion is apparently a very solid game
A couple things I've noticed after replaying Skyrim for only thirty minutes.
Food is useless. It's just there for looks, even though it does heal you a very small amount. Why is there no hunger meter? Potions heal 3x what food does, easily.
You cannot show mercy to a human/humanoid enemy, even when they ask for it. They will get right back up and keep attacking you.
Despite being a "role-playing" game, you are put into one role,...

Despite how it looks, the environment is not at all immersive. Every hunter is the same person, male or female, human or otherwise.
You can only contract a disease, like Vampiritis, for example, at random. Sometimes you have to sit for upwards of ten minutes, healing yourself until you contract it.
>You cannot show mercy to a human/humanoid enemy, even when they ask for it. They will get right back up and keep attacking you.
That really disappointed me the first time it happened. I even sheathed my weapon and waited to see what happened, but nope, gotta smack 'em down.
I had that game too, good shit, but my first game was GOAT
We can all unanimously agree she's a slut now right?
I have a very important question
Does Raiden have a robot cock?
Raiden has two entirely different bodies, one he uses for work and the other is a civilian model he uses at home.
Since he wears underwear with the civilian model but doesen't with the combat/work-related one it's safe to assume that one has a robot dick.
Raiden is just the upper part of his skull and his spine, everything else is artificial
ITT: Your favorite vidya music.
It's been a while since I've seen one of these. Let's get comfy.
>masafumi takada uses the same studio speakers I do
Tim motherfucking Follin
Look up any of his work, the dude was like 20-30 years ahead of his time.
