>/v/ says a game is shit
>it's actually great
Whats her name /v/?
>pcuck board is buttblasted that their irrelevant platform is not optimized
>shitpost about the game
nothing new desu, the game is actually pretty good if you play it in platforms that actually matters
What games capture the feeling of loneliness?
What's your favorite rouge-lite anon?
Recently got into the genre and need some new stuff to play
Why the heck people dislike fallout 4
The game itself isn't bad, it was just hyped up to be amazing and they downgraded the game in exchange for prettier visuals and cool game concepts.
They should have made a voiced protagonist an optional feature so they didn't completely kill off the role playing aspect. That, and the fact that they took away skill checks was a huge disappointment. Being an autistic sciencefag with low Charisma/ high Intelligence was a fun, unique, and rewarding game experience. They polished the game but ripped out what made it so charming to begin with.

They secretly don't enjoy video games anymore and take their frustration of their only thing they can relate to fading away from them out on triple A game titles because they are the biggest targets.
What happened to vr?
I thought it ws supposed to be the future.
What went wrong?
I don't like this poster, where Jensen is with gun. My Jensen was mainly pacifist, without senseless killing.
What do you like about video games?
Which Castlevania game is good for begginners? I played Lords of Shadow but dropped due to
giant spider enemies.
Also Castlevania thread i guess.
Well if you want the "Igavania" ones that are compared to Metroid then start with Symphony of the Night, preferably the PSP version found on Dracula X Chronicles which you can also get on Vita. For normal ones I'd say the original or III.
Oh and I should have mentioned symphony of the night is also on PlayStation and some other crap but the PSP/Vita version is best unless you don't like handheld having a small screen.
What games do supreme gentlemen play?
What games are you most looking forward to this year /v?
Do they still make hack n slash games? The most recent one I know of is Castle Crashers and that's more like an arcade beat em up. I'm looking more Baldurs Gate and Gauntlet.
ITT: God tier game music
Let's skip the obvious ones, we all know that Zelda and Metroid Prime have amazing soundtracks. Let's talk about soundtracks that people might not have heard about.
Does /v/ have any vidya prints?
If so, what is it?
>It's a hacking minigame that a child could solve
>It's an exploration where you're railroaded from waypoint you didn't place to a waypoint you didn't find
Just doing my annual check-in to see if a better game has been made yet.
Try to guess poorly described games.
>you're a dizzy rodent that has a craving for a weird fruit.
Why is there a severe lack of rhythm heaven inspired flash games?
Let's talk about why some Metal Gear fans are douchebags ...
I guess more specifically what I'm asking about are the "people who ruin it for everyone else" those people.
I respect the games. I've just met people who are really into it and bring something unwanted to the table with their enthusiasm more so than even Final Fantasy fans. Is the pseudo-military element?
I've heard that some people don't use the Red9, Striker, and Semi-Auto. Is this true? Why are they so awful and stupid?
ITT: Space exploration games that are better than No Man's Sky
Supox are cute! CUTE!
This game is really fucking good.
You lied to me, /v/.
It seems it became better. I hated Skyrim and the initial appearences of this game but I've been playing it just over a week now and been having fun.
Far from perfect but better than Neverwinter.
How bad did she fuck up, /v/?
The cutscenes/conversations are so long and take up a huge chunk of game time. Conversations seem to be just filled with excess dialogue that adds little to the actual quest. Anyone else find this tedious? Currently looking for Whoreson Junior, does the story pick up anytime soon?
Find a flaw.
Why are people still trying to defend this shit?
>$60 for a game that doesn't even have all the features the developers promised would be in it
>PC port can't even run properly for the majority of users with $1000+ custom builds and for those who can run it at a stable 60 fps defend it for the only reason that they don't want to admit they wasted their money
>The "multiplayer" doesn't even work properly, even on consoles
>The only selling point of the game is it's "vast size" and that's only because it randomly generates planets. You don't see people jaw dropping at roguelites with randomly generated dungeons, so why was this a big selling point for gamers / idiots who actually bought this?
How people are still buying this and defending the developers are beyond me. They pulled a Peter Molyneux on us and yet people are just ignoring it?
>inb4 "they're only an indie company / this is their first big game it won't be perfect"
For all the purposeful over-hyping of this game from the developers, it should of been a damn near perfect game. Next time they will of learned to of kept their mouths shut.
>Next time they will of learned to of kept their mouths shut.
No they won't.
PS$ orders can't be refunded, so Sony still wins.
For PC, Sony either wins still OR enough people will have refunded that Sony won't consider allowing any SCE published games to be ported to PC again.
How powerful are Doom demons compared to other vidya demons?
Painkiller series had better shit compared to the first three dooms
>Bearing in mind Hello Games’ complimentary DLC philosophy for No Man’s Sky, one might remember the familiar post-launch strategy of the developers at CD Projekt Red, who put out 16 separate packages of free DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. As lots of gamers may recall, the strategy for the Poland-based studio was extremely successful, for not only did it expand the shelf life of its action-RPG well after its release, but also it served as a show of gratitude...

NMS confirmed for best game since The Witcher 3.

What would Zelda be like in a modern era?
>depth of field
Off it goes if it's the full screen shit
>depth of field
Good only when you're guaranteed to be looking at a focal point, like aiming down sights or cutscenes
Some bloom is fine, it was way overdone in the mid 2000s
Sometimes it's acceptable like in Alien Isolation or trying to make something gritty, should always be an option to turn it off
In rare cases, this can work out well in games if it only has shitt post-AA and this re-sharpens it
I honestly still don't even know what this is, noticed no difference in TW3
Sometimes works for gritty stuff like CA, should always be able to turn it off
I accept it when looking at the sun, shouldn't be on every bright light in the game
Come at me with your hot opinons
