Can we have a FUN games thread? Mostly games that, to you, were the most fun you've ever had - No matter what it was. And preferably get straight to the point.
My personal favorites:
-Little King's Story
- Katamari Damacy
- Stardew Valley
- Fallout 2
- Brutal Doom
- Diablo 2
LOOK AT THIS CARD
It's a fucking Raden HD 7850, 2GB card
>4 years old
Yet it runs Nu Mans Sky silky smooth 60 fps.
and post in this Wario Land 4 thread
Hahah well memed /v/
So Conception II is apparently coming to Steam in about 2 days.
How was it on the Vita/3DS? Is it worth picking up for $16? Does the story from the first one matter at all, or can you jump right into II without really missing much?
wow, which one of you guys did this? Lol
TUMBLING DOWN TUMBLING DOWN TUMBLING DOOOOOOOOOOOWN
Why have I never heard anything about this game before? It's fucking amazing. It's pretty much programming visualized as building a factory, and "getting it" is so satisfying. "Lesser known" puzzle games thread, I guess.
Picture related is my favorite of the Devil Dice series. Too bad it doesn't have the puzzle mode from the previous games, but the quest mode and the older styles of the previous games (that you can unlock) more then make up for it.
>Game 2 : Subtitle
As the subject says there are multiple reports of GOG refusing refunds for people who purchased NMS and are having difficulties getting the game to run.
I'm not stupid enough to pre-order PC games in 2016 when most of them turn out to be buggy trainwrecks but some people are and fell for this shit.
I usually buy games from GOG first and foremost if they're available there because typically their practices are much more consumer friendly but not so sure after this. Unlike Steam their 30 day refund policy is only valid for technical difficulties and even...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Yeah but people are saying even after they weren't able to fix it they refused the refund and told them to wait for patches.
Others are saying that GOG is telling them that as long as the game launches no matter how shit it runs they wont refund it. Even if they meet recommended specs and whatnot.
How would you do a game about Amy Rose?
Not necessarily with the same Sonic gameplay style
Really makes one think....
Astonishing. You can really see that they worked 4 years straight for this.
There are better looking minecraft builds
Is Danganronpa 2 the Metal Gear Solid 2 of visual novels?
It's friday night, and your mom takes you to blockbuster.
>one video game
What do you choose /v/?
you faggots cant even get 12 commendations
Now that the dust has settled, what's the final verdict?
It actually was an adventure masterpiece
I spent 10 hours exploring the .ini to find out what the fuck was wrong and why my face wouldn't start up
Instead of exploring a galaxy of planets, I explored my PC and learned the entire system ask the way down to the micro transistors in the cpu
SO THEY'RE FINALLY HERE
I liked DaS1 when I played it ages ago. Which is the better of these two/which should I play first if I have limited free time?
Reasoning and comparisons would be appreciated.
Graphics are better (on PS4), it's more unique, has cooler enemies, bosses, setting, and music. It's also more critically acclaimed and already has DLC. You should probably get both though as some people claim to like DS3 more.
Why the FUCK can't anyone make a thread about this game without it immediately crashing to page 10 ?
What games are actually horribly written all around but easily dupe normies into thinking they're sophisticated scholarly masterpieces?
No Man's Sky is dogshit but Goldeneye source v5 is releasing at 4pm est
I have some money. Should i buy Overwatch or Dark souls 3?
Just finished playing this. I'm an idiot for not starting this sooner. /v/ has some pretty good taste, 9/10.
Should I start Invisible War or go straight to Human Revolution? Also recommend any games with similar gameplay/atmosphere to Deus Ex.
deus ex thread i guess
Invisible War is universally considered bad.
However after a few hours of frustration I enabled God mode and simply sped through the story itself and I rather appreciated where it took things at the end.
If you want to see where JC, Paul and a few minor characters from the first game end up then play it.
Just bear in mind that Human Revolution is an actual good game and you should definitely finish it before the sequel comes out, in 10 days.
For a blind pacifist run on the hardest difficulty it took me 30 hours with all side quests.
Make of that what you will.
WHAT A MESS WE MADE WHEN IT ALL WENT WRONG
>finish my HeartGold playthrough
>move on to Platinum
>no more touch screen inventory
>no more default running
>no more pokemon following you
Ugh. At least those infuriating phone calls are gone though.
Anyway, what starter did everyone choose for Gen IV? I went with Chimchar.
Is he our guy /v/?
I'm planning on selling my WiiU, but I'm conflicted. I've stuck the stylus multiple times into my urethra and I think it might be immoral to have some kid buy it pre-owned and then be touching something I'm cum on multiple times. I've cleaned it thoroughly, but I feel like it's more about the principle of the thing.
Do you think it'd be okay to sell it?
What makes a protagonist relatable?
CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES
>tfw want to try it
>But basic integrity refuses to let me pay $60 for what is almost certainly an experience not worth more than $20
>But Sean is the type of idiot that will double down on his self-delusion and refuse to ever lower the price and "devalue his work"
WHY THE FUCK WAS THIS ALLOWED!?
YOU MAKE SOME STUPID FUCKING SHIT GAME THAT'S A GIANT MIDDLE FINGER TO ANYONE WHO HAS ACTUALLY BEEN A FAN OF THIS FRANCHISE FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS, THEN YOU SUDDENLY MAKE A GREAT GAME THAT IMPROVES UPON PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING, THEN YOU MANAGE TO TAKE A HUGE SHIT ON THAT TOO AND MAKE SOMETHING POSSIBLY EVEN WORSE THAN THE FIRST ONE!
HOW COULD ANYONE LIKE THIS SHIT GAME IT'S A GIANT MIDDLE FINGER TO ANY PERSON WHO ACTUALLY SOMEHOW LIKED FF13!
