I have a question for Persona fans, why bother designing such badass persona for the main protagonist if he just gonna fuse the meticulously designed custom persona with Pixie to get Sandman or other low tier demon anyway?
I get it there will be Izanagi no Okami version of tophat Dante's devil trigger, but 98% of the time you're not playing with the protagonist supposed "main" Persona.
Why is such thing allowed? Also has the protagonist being able to own and use multiple Personas ever being explained in a persona game? I played P3P and P4G and...

Great games that will never get a sequel.
You lose if you say HL2.
Are there any RPGs where the healing characters are the coolest? It seems like in general they're always portrayed as very passive characters who are only important to the plot if they're some kind of female love interest.
Not really. Even though White Mage is based on the D&D Cleric, which is suppose to be more of a warhammer welding Norse priest, the Princess of Moonbroke from DQ2 and FF1's White Mage kind of sealed in all RPG healers as being weak as piss and soft spoken females.
Is there any reason to be excited for DMC4 Shakespearean Edition now that we have MH4U? Monster Hunter is far deeper and more challenging than anything Dante has done.
Going to buy pic related in a few hours but only have enough cash to buy one game. Which game should i buy /v/? Also general 3DS thread.
This thread is for the biggest and most disgusting kickstarter scams.
You know the drill.
So /v/ I'm looking for a new MMO to get into as I've used up all available interest in WoW my 15 bucks a month could spare. I've been looking at RIFT and Tera Rising but from what I've seen nothing is particularity screaming out to me. Any suggestions on what I should play?
>fuck GW2 by the way
>tfw there will never be a piece of videogame music as good as this
Well, that's not true at all.
ITT: God tier trailers
>people fucking love metroidvanias
>indie devs rarely make metroidvanias
Why not? They're a goldmine. they're like puzzle platformers but fun.
Atlus sure is good at designing best girls
Are there any video game series which actually improved after aiming for a wider audience?
Resident Evil 4
the problem with expanding to wider audiences is that they always think that there's better results to be had in that direction, when really they just hit a sweet spot and going further will make it shittier
see: resident evil 5
What video game characters had the hardest lives?
I need more people who deserved it.
