There is something really bugging me about this game.
In many dev videos of it they go to planets never before seen, never been claimed/named, never been scanned. But there is always a hub floating about the planet and always a beacon on the surface.
Doesn't this defeat the purpose of giving the player the sense that they are the first one there?
sup /v/, starting playing wow as a human female paladin
What should I name her?
Unpopular opinions thread.
>I enjoyed this more than Chrono Trigger.
What causes people to latch onto the cringiest video games possible?
My buddy gave me this along with a bottle of tequila, what am I in for?
>game has random encounters instead of field based ones
>game has field based encounters instead of random ones
>the best and funniest encounters are only available with a certain perk
>This piece of shit managed to be even more dumbed down than fucking Skyrim
I didn't know that was even possible, how does Todd do it?
How Todd created such a marvelous masterpiece that will be known as one of the greatest game to ever be made?
It's so you can spend more time looking at it, perhaps even search more pictures of it. To look more and more at that beautiful cover
Why is nobody talking about this?
Because it's an updated rerelease of a niche SNES game most of /v/ has never heard of.
I'm pretty hyped for it but you really shouldn't expect any discussion about it here. /vr/ would probably be a better place for this if they've chilled out a bit on the NOT RETRO shitposting that's been plaguing the board the past few months.
BABY FUCK BABY FUCK ITS AWWW-RIGHT
>Metal Gear thread gets deleted
mods are pussies
The dichotomy between Solidus and the Patriots is quite fascinating imo. Here we have two separate bodies vying for power, one in the name of the personal liberty of doing what he thinks is right by whatever means necessary, another who serves as a safety net for preserving the lives of the masses so endangered by the former in his mission.
Who or what was right?
>one in the name of the personal liberty
>doing what he thinks is right by whatever means necessary
>serves as a safety net for preserving the lives of the masses
I don't think you're telling the whole story and I don't remember any of it.
From such a short description of their positions, the Patriots were in the right.
>Fate of the world/Universe is at stake
>Shopkeepers still charge full price for everything
What the fuck
This is the only mouse necessary for PC gaming, anything fancier is just pointless shit pandering to the gaymer crowd.
Prove me wrong, you can't.
>there are a people that have le epic pointy cases with red LEDs everywhere
The eternal vidya question.
What did you think of the Syphon Filter series?
You're given 50 Million dollars.
A full staff of videogame development team.
you can remake one CANCELLED game...
but it has to sell 2 million units worldwide otherwise you and your whole family will die. which game will it be?
I do Legends 3
I take a time machine back to when the 3DS came out
I follow through on the original plan of releasing the paid demo for $5 when the eShop launched
I then release the game the following year, this being right after the major console price drop, and massive increase the hardware sold
I partner with Nintendo to sell it as a major game
Pic not necessarily related.
jurassic the hunted for the ps2 was the shit, i loved it
it was very short and barebones tho. its just for itching that "killing dinosaurs with guns" need.
I wish they remastered it for the new consoles and PC.
Orion: Prelude (not to be confused with the other Orion game by the same devs that got pulled for stealing models from CoD) is actually a pretty fun co-op game. It plays like a combination of Killing Floor and Halo CE.
Looks like China's cashing in on Overwatch hype with Transformers
Wait a sec why the fuck is the protagonist of Persona 4 in Danganropa?
And why is he a huge asshole who hates hope?
Did Yosuke steal his perfect gf Chie or something?
Whats some decent music you like from games you don't enjoy?
I am still mad they completely squandered Trevor Morris' work by under utilizing the score throughout the entire game. Apparently it was a conscious decision not to actually use the tracks that much. Instead, opting to just go with the silent ambience bullshit
Fucking Bioware shitters.
fug forgot link
>move your character up against a wall
>character doesn't put their hands up against the wall and instead just keeps walking into it
>Have character jump over a short barrier
>Character just hops over the barrier instead of grabbing it and leaping over it in style
There are people who think that Grand Theft Auto 5 had a satisfying ending.
What game allows me to play as a high school delinquent with badass hair?
I'm at my girlfriends place she is out cold and I'm bored as fuck. The only thing I have to play on is my phone and pokemon is a no go. What can I play to keep my sanity /v/
Thinking about getting one of this once neo is out just for BB, SFV, I am Setsuna. Are other exclusives I should buy with this beautiful fucboi?
I bought bloodborne because it was $15 at target and I don't even own a PS4, waiting for the neo in hopes it will run at a better framerate but idk if I want to wait much longer
this console gen is kinda weird and there arent really many must have exclusives
whats your "favorite" Overwatch hero? the correct answer is Junkperfect but i'll entertain other answers.
After playing theatrhythm I'm now interested in this series. What's the best game to start with?
FFV - Most fun gameplay-wise. Okay story and music. Teaches you about the jobs and classes known throughout FF.
FFVII - Most well known and got at least 60% of the fanbase into the series. Overall great balance of gameplay, story, and music.
FFX - Pretty easy. Easy to approach with its voice acting.
That aside, which games interested you the most through Theatrhythm?
I really like the main character of II the most but from what I've heard it's not that good of a game.
The ones I'm most interested in are VI, IX and X.
I've actually played a few hours XII a couple of years ago but I never really got into it. Should I eventually go back and retry that one because I see it get a lot of praise here
Luckily, you're talking to one of the only people who likes II. II isn't bad. II's main problem is that it's challenging and it's very different from the rest of the series. I wouldn't say it's a good one to start off with. If you really get into the series, then I would consider it.
VI is really good and not a bad place to start. It's a bit different from most of the series, but not nearly as different as II or XII.
IX is also a good place to start, as long...
