Use your master plan to finally destroy that blasted hedgehog
Recommend me a horror game thats actually spoopy but isnt a hide/run away fromt he monster game.
Which video game character had the hardest life?
Your opinion on the Namco Museum series?
Never played a Civ game before - should I get Civ V? how difficult is it to get into?
Make sure you get all the expansions if you get V. It's pretty good overall I think, especially for someone new.
And it's not hard to get into unless you have no experience with anything similar, which I doubt. It's one of the easier games in one of the easiest series in the genre too so it's a good starting point.
>Unexpected theme starts playing
>OST is pumped as fuck across the board
>final boss theme is simply melancholic
What do you think of this character?
There's something on her face
What's wrong with her face, what is this?
[DARK SOULS 1]
>Best characters and best weapons
[DARK SOULS II]
>Best PvP and best bosses
[DARK SOULS III]
How the fuck am I supposed to beat 4 bosses in a row without save points?
I've been struggling in sfv and I doesn't feel like I'm improving at all. I've been stuck at bronze for a while and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong I have decent footsies and good spacing I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.
If you really had good footies you probably wouldn't be in bronze. Your problem is probably in punishing then. You aren't maximizing your dmg so even if you feel you shouldn't have lost to bad tactics its your own fault for not optimizing opputunities.
Do you have a good punish game, what character are you playing, have you played any other fighting games, are you anti airing?
That's actually really true I don't always punish or counter poke most of the time
Not like I should be I don't combo into most things bc I think they will wif
Gief Ryu and urien when he's released
Yes skullgirls mvc2
and yes I anti air 9/10 times
9 DAY'S TO GO
Okay, besides gunplay and Power Armor what are things this turd of a title got right?
Will there ever be another Metal Gear?
Nope. Thank God
This guy slaps your girlfriend's ass.
Wat u do
Was /v/ too harsh on Metroid Federation Force?
/v/ wasn't harsh enough on this piece of shit, there are still people defending it.
Metroid only works when it involves a sense of dread or excitement finding a new way to new weird creatures and secrets.
This is cutesy graphic bullshit because no one wants to spend the money making a good looking 3ds game.
10 years old
What wouldn't you do for your favorite video game girl?
You wouldn't marry her?!
Woah, that's harsh anon.
How do we talk about gameplay as art?
All the other components of a video game (music, writing, visual presentation) are in line with other non interactive forms of art, so how do we go about discussing the qualities of gameplay from an artistic perspective? Is it possible, given that (unless it's a speedrun) barely a moment plays out the same?
Pic related: 1 - 1 is excellently crafted, and most of it is with the way the game implicitly teaches you. Does the intenation of the game designer matter?
While these questions exist in other art forms, I...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
videogames are the only form of interactive art that challenges you.
playing games is a form of art, since everybody can express themselves differently thru. moving mario thru level 1-1 is no different than Bob Ross moving his paintbrush across canvasgameplay
I don't see why something can't be art just because it's interactive, but the /v/ hivemind will dismiss you as a pretentious hipster for thinking about this critically
>b-b-but Roger Ebert said they're not art!
Faggot has no business judging a form of media he had essentially zero contact with in his life
What got me to think about gameplay as art was watching speedrunning, something about it got me to think about the technicalities of gameplay and how they greatly influence games as an artistic package.
ITT: Games women will never understand
What did she mean by this?
So many idiots said she's running into the wall when it's so obvious she tripped on the cord and stumbled the rest of the way, trying not to fall. The power of VR naysayers I guess.
That cord really is a problem though. Not sure what they could do to fix it. Hanging the cord above would be just as problematic because the cord would either tied around the head or yank at it.
This game is such shit. I've been playing it for an hour and the only challenging thing is not getting annoyed with the glitches and wonky camera. The characters and story are beyond childish and worse than Saturday morning cartoons. Someone please point out any redeeming quality this crap has. I'm serious; I gave it a chance and I'd like to know.
You basically just have to get used to it to enjoy it. Also, don't play a non-Dreamcast release. They all suck in a bad way.
Left or Right
itt we are in silent hill
>"I would rather look at a girl's pixelated ass all day than a guy's pixelated ass"
I would bet a lot of anons would have game ideas for a Cyberpunk setting.
So come on, give us your best idea no matter how shitty.
I LOVE YOU!; I hope these thoughts reach you~
What's everyone's opinion on this guy and his game reviews?
real life is shit compared to video games
Real life is indeed FUCKING boring. The only time it is not is when absolutely horrible things are happening like getting your head cut off with dull tools, being eaten alive, dying of horrible disease, being killed in a plane crash, shopping at Wal-Mart etc.
So Anon, I notice you play female avatars in every game you play, when given a choice between sexes.
Why is that?
Not always, fag. In Fallout 4 I played as a female because the VA is way better for her, or at least more entertaining. I play as a female in Titanfall because you are LITERALLY at a disadvantage if you play as a male pilot. I don't think I see any remotely skilled players playing as males.
Why are 2D sprite based games more difficult to make than 3D polygon based games? I've heard making a 2D sprite based games are more difficult and time consuming to develop than 3D polygon based games. Years ago all we had were 2D sprite based games, so with the better technology we have today, why are making 2D sprite based games still a hastle for devs?
