I miss Wild Arms
also other good series you miss thread
I'm have fun replaying 3 on ps4 don't kill me
I always wished these games stuck to the whole western thing more heavily.
The western thing plays third fiddle to the generic JRPG fantasy elements, and that shit's fucked.
WA3 probably did the western theme the best.
What are some PC games with incredible stories?
If you say Undertale I will fucking kill you
Alright, now that we've determined who the superior sister is, it's not time to find out who she belongs with:
-The Purest form of love
>somebody saved an image I posted in another thread
ITT: Helicopter Songs
Now that World of Warcraft is dead, can we agree that this is the best mmo ever created?
what's the most unique game you've played?
for me it's probably the Souls series, never found anything similiar to it
hard mode: something that came out this year
Groundhog Day: The Game on a 5 day timeloop. You spend most of it wandering around a massive city, playing guitar hero and looking for time sensitive events while figuring out how to wake people up to help you fight the big bad. Said events can be ridiculously specific though and if one of the couple of hundred NPCs has a clue, it's probably only said at a specific point in their daily routine and maybe on a certain day if you're unlucky. Oh, and your money and most of your inventory resets every loop until you recruit a certain character :^)
Did this game ruin Resident Evil?
yes, it was a very good game but Camcom was stupid and thought its success meant that even more action mechanics would be good which is why we ended up with chris punching boulders
Hello my swordlings
*drops hat and trench coat to the floor revealing katana*
What do you want, kid?
is this the BEST engine out there right now?
>holy shit the best optimization
>MGSV:GZ and TPP ran it, Silent Hills would've ran it
It's definitely the best engine for a game rather than some sort of peacock art piece.
Graphics isn't more showy than it needs to be and it can handle many complex CPU driven elements efficiently enough to be somehow runnable on last gen consoles
It's a GW1 thread get in here
This looks fucking incredible. But I'm not sure if I trust the idea of it being 1 guy that made it.
>created by YANG BING
I would take the plunge for several reasons.
-The amount of risk involved in purchasing an indie game
-Seeing what kind of interesting bugs you will run into while playing it
-Being impressed by one man's talent to create an indie game in UE4
-most importantly supporting that talent in hopes that he can create more
I'm in my nigga
This may have been posted to hell and back so I apologize, but I want to know what's the most definitive way to play the classic games (Sonic 1-3&K and Sonic CD) on PC? Is there a proper collection of them for PC with all the bugs ironed out? It'd be good to have and play before Mania comes out.
As a side, are there good Romhacks worth checking out? I tried to play After the Sequel but it keeps crashing on me.
What do you do when you get bored of playing video games?
>mfw the past month i actually been having fun playing video games
Hey guys, Anonymous here. Welcome back to my Let's Play of the Witcher 3, Game of the Year 2015. Let's just start a new game and go on our way.
No cut-scenes, right out of the gate. Just wandering around as the Witcher dude, not much has happened yet.
Fuck Skyrim Remastered!
Where are my remakes of Arena and Daggerfall?
Can we have a thread about rpg maker games?
WHEN THE LOW HEAVY SKY WEIGHS LIKE A LID ON THE SPIRIT ACHING FOR THE LIGHT...
>NO SUB FEE
>CONSTANT GUILD VS GUILD OPEN WORLD PVP
>TONS OF STUFF TO DO
>GREAT CHR CREATOR
This is great.
>You get to the center of the universe
>It's a huge mirror
>You fly up to it
>You see yourself
>You're Norman Reedus
>Norman's sky appears at the top of the screen and under it
>A Hideo Kojima game
>just wanting to play a nice session of NMS with my friends
>start the game
>check my network connection
>apparently the game does not feature multiplayer
>a few hours later
>120 players roaming around my base breaking everything
So which one are you picking and why is it [spoliers]Popplio?[/spoilers]
>Live in a time where developers don't have to sacrifice framerate for visuals
>Developers still make games that are locked below 60fps, or are intended to be played below 60fps
Why are the shit games popular while the great ones barely get noticed?
Every fucking person who posts a no man's sky thread should be banned on sight. It's shilling top tier and it's fucking disgusting. How can you people stomach this shit ass indie trash?
>but muh infinite possibilities
It's archeology simulator 2016 you cunts
It's a waste of money and I honestly hope that anyone who buys this game full price has a stroke or a heart attack
I'm starting to get into weeb games. I finished the trifecta of western-friendly weeb VN-like games (Ace Attorney, Zero Escape, Danganronpa). What should I go for now?
>tfw being a weeb is cool now
Listening to my normalfag friends talk about the dubbed Netflix anime they're watching is the strangest feeling
I must guide them to greener pastures
Holy shit this game is fun. I made a topic a few days ago on whether or not to get it. I ended up getting it and have been playing it recently. I love it so far. All these fucking options on what digimon to make is ridiculous. I think I would have absolutely loved a game like this as a kid when I used to watch Digimon.
A little overwhelming though with all these options. I don't know what to make first. Any hints /v/? Otherwise, Digimon Cyber Sluts thread. Talk about the game. Wish this shit came with cross buy. Would have been nice.
How are your summer temps?
IS THAT FUCKING SUNLIGHT WHAT THE FUCK YOU FUCKING IDIOT
i live in a civilized part of the world where my house has solar panels and can run the AC all fucking summer.
>tfw 25 celcius
Stop living with your parents or get a better job.
Which is the biggest disappointment of 2016 so far?
>play on server
>some faggot keeps harassing and insulting you
>say you will fuck his shit up
>he completely dominates you instead
What's the best way to progress through this game for someone playing for the first time? Are things like FATEs still relevant? Is there anything you should just avoid because it's not worth the time or effort? This is without the expansion by the way.
FATEs are okay early on, but you'll want to do the main quests on your preferred class, since it's plenty of XP and you don't have to have the monotony of leves. For crafting/gathering, leves are better for powerleveling, but you'll want to actually go through the process for things you need. Gathering especially, since the XP for leves is great, it's usually handy to just get a tonne of shit which you might use later.
I'm tired of these retarded "twists" and the game explaining everything to you as if you were a 5 year old with no concrete logic capacity, why does it do that?
The first game also did it but at least it didn't include retarded questions like in the pic or the minb-numingly dumb multiple choice questions that are in SDR.
Is this even M-rated? It looks like it was made for teenagers.
OP here, getting real tired of this shit.
what does /v/ think of memes in videogames?
