motherfucking STALKER trilogy.
Shit's extra spooky yet beautiful during midnight thunderstorms.
When will games be fun again /v/?
I used to play games for the pure sense of magic, discovery and fun that developers tried to pack into every title. Things are just too edgy for me now..
so which games now will give me a sense of magic, discovery and fun?
i think largely the market just went in a bad direction because muh edgy teens or something. hopefully in 5-10years everyone will be bored and we'll come full circle. Indie games seem to do well, and Doom3 > Doom4 looks like an improvement from what they've said.
It's time you realized how the real world works /v/.
Noone there cares about resolution. Noone there cares about framerate. Noone there cares your obscure decade old games had more "interactivity" than modern AAA titles. Noone there cares that sometimes devs have to make their games sound better than they are, that's just business. They don't mind if some devs put minorities in their games, that's not a problem to a well-adjusted person.
People care about having fun. Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, Watch_Dogs, Dragon Age: Inquisition,...

I don't care about resolution, I often play on 720p to trade it by enabling all/ most effects on highest settings
what I do care about is optimization and it seems that every big-name game of late is releasing unfinished and badly performing pieces of shit
>sony abandoned the shita
>now they are even porting their own fucking games to the 3DS
Sonyggers on suicide watch
This game is true definition of artificial difficulty.
>dumb friendly AI
>enemies have aimbot
>literally- one shot kill
>enemies spawn endlessly
It's impossible to complete this game without coop. So if you don't have a wifi better not waste money
Who here is hyped for Oculus Rift?
What games are you looking forward to playing on it?
Video game TECHNOLOGY thread
Posting an obvious
This girl is just playing some Smash like many of you are and suddenly a guy gives her 200 dollars, 5 seconds later another guy gives her 150 dollars.
What the fucking hell.
ITT: game endings that made you cry, or at least made you shed a tear
Oh because I see that redhead around a lot.
Imagine a game with Asura's Wrath level of over the top scenes and fight choreography but with DMC3 or Ninja Gaiden Black detail of gameplay in either of those directions. How good would it be?
Lethal league had such a fucking GOAT soundtrack
Because it's the hero that PC gaming deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we'll hunt it, because it can take it. Because it's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight.
>PC game sales plummeting because pirates can't get games for free
>store sales plummeting because stores decided to hire security guards
>cars sales plummeting because car manufacturers decided to add door locks
Wow, thieves are truly delusional...
I'm fucking pissed.
Assassin's Creed 1 STILL has the best escapes in the entire series. Best assassinations, best chase theme, best atmopshere.
like holy SHIT
LOOK AT THE FUCKING COLORS AND MUSIC. SO FUCKING HYPE. You FELT like a fucking assassin.
The asssassinations in all the other ACs are so fucking disappointing in comparison.
ITT: Shit in the WC3 campaign that doesn't make any fucking sense.
I'll gi first:
>Tyrande goes to free Illidan from prison.
>In the final mission cutscene, he brakes out of his cell all by his fucking self.
Why is the game so hard
