This game gets more flak than it deserves.
It's actually a good game with some flaws with pacing.
It has a good amount of variety, fun worlds, and enjoyable (albeit repeated) bosses.

Can horror games be considered fun?
I don't mean they're all bad, far from it. But they ARE supposed to make you feel as uncomfortable as possible.
Jump scares are fine, an excessive amount however is not.
I mean what would be the point if a game had no jumperscares?
Why would you "fear" the atmosphere if nothing could surprise you?
It would be like a STALKER game but those are not really horror and after you discover that there are indeed no jumpscares in the whole game you won't be so much scared of exploring the laboratory anymore.

Last night, me and my friends played a 30 minute coin game with all overpowered items on high, we played on FD where Melee's BREAK THE TARGETS played in the backround. 30 Minutes of that song and coins and final smashes, it was fucking awesome.

I like industry levels, but it's hard to pull off. You have the ability to have a lot of background animation and intricacy in the level design, but if you approach it like any other level it ends up being a grey muddy mess.
