What choice do you make on repeated playthroughs of Bioshock 1?
I'm mostly interested in what makes for a superior gameplay experience, since I know the story already.
>Console war thread
Quality you got here OP
Best $1000 or under pre-built PCs? Digital storm, Alienware, ect
What do you think blizzard is going for in terms of balancing?
1. Make big and small changes towards an ideal point where all heroes are fairly balanced
2. Constantly make big changes so that the meta is an ever evolving beast (this month hero X is the bomb, 3 months from how X is nerfed, 6months later X is the shit again)
People who played SC2 might shed some light on this, as blizzard might follow the same path.
inb4 3.they have no fucking clue
What went wrong?
Seriously what in the actual fuck
It looks like cod4, barely any players and i needed to play at low settings at 900p on a 560 to have 60fps
Source engine is a piece of shit
I just found out about this game the other day. Why don't we ever have a nice thread about good indie games? Has anyone else played this? It's not quite as good as Super Ghouls n' Ghosts, but it certainly fills the void left by capcom.
Yeah it's a good game. No one talks about good indies because most people on /v/ are casual faggots who only know about games because they are advertised to them. It and Volgarr The Viking really scratch that Ghosts n Goblins itch. I honestly liked it more than Super lack of difficulty aside. Hydorah and Curse of Issyos are good too.
So this is my first Witcher game and I'm really enjoying it so far, well into chapter 3. Liking the city and the swamp even though i heard it sucks, it's the only area I find exciting as well thus far.
BUT I have one major gripe with this game, I have numerous quests completed, such as help the distressed nurse's grandma, kill moe the wyvern, see triss, HOWEVER they aren't to be found at anytime of day in their location?
Is this intentional so I progress further into other side quests? I have some that I could do in the sewers/elven ruins and...

you're asking some quite spoiler-tastic questions.
Let's just say that people in Witcher 1 don't just idly stand around all day long. Also, certain characters are not found in their assumed position for a reason.
Still, glad to hear you're enjoying Witcher 1, OP!
>Liking the city and the swamp even though i heard it sucks, it's the only area I find exciting as well thus far
Damn your ugly
So who was the better girl in the end?
>Game has multiple endings
>evil ending is canonical
>game is unfinished because the creator is homeless
>TFW I will never again have a feeling like I had reading the end of the weed party
Post those rigs boys.
Why is the PS3 still so expensive?
Is Sony run by Jews?
Who was in the wrong here?
This is a japanese tomgirl (female)
What mouse are you using?
My G500 is about to die and i need to buy a new one, not sure which one i wanna get, i like heavy mice and play a lot of fps.
/v/cord for whoever may wanna join some good ol' vidya discussion!
god i hate ubisoft so fucking much, imagine how good this shit would be if it was from valve or blizzard
Neither Valve nor Blizzard are remotely familiar with the Rainbow Six series. Besides, Valve don't even make video games anymore and they'd probably end up using Source engine shit.
This came out today, from the makers of Recettear I guess? Anyone know if it's good?
I read the words weeaboo and foot. Tell me more.
It's apparently a game about qts racing on foot with Mario Kart-style shenanigans. This is the very upbeat trailer:
And it came out on the 15th apparently
So since it's now official that ESPN dictates the costumes that players must use, what are the odds that every game company is going to revise their franchises for American television standards to get better publicity?
Will all fighting games now ensure that 0% of skin is showing on female fighters? Also will games like Mortal Kombat remove all blood and gore to appeal more?
Jensen looks like a cartoon and the dialogue system is even more simplified.

GitS game on Konami's FOX engine
how can Mario Maker even compete with the original LBP?
Blizzard should just copy GW and add a fuckload of abilities but limit the amount a player can use and emphasize them more over gear. WoW is now saved.

>"lCE TO SEE YOU"
So we have the whole indie scene blowing up with 16-bit replicas everywhere.
Is there a way to portray any of these in 240p/480i on a CRT and have them look legit like older games, or are we stuck with the awful emulation-esque blockyness for now?
Are there actually any projects making good new 8/16bit games from the ground up that are compatible with that era of consoles on a flash cart or something?
For example, how would I go about hooking up undertale to a CRT and having it look legit? Can it be run in old native resolutions, or do you have to add some sort of switch to add in scanlines and shit?
>retards thinking digital is the way to go
Can you name some other games that do this?
How does Kojima get away with making Joosty dress-up for his pleasure?
Should /v/ have post IDs to prevent samefagging?
What did they mean by this?
Top is a heavily photoshopped screencap some anon made just to exaggerate the comparison, the original unshopped pic is still better than that example, but not by a wide margin.
Go to 2:57 for source of the original image.
It's also worth mentioning the lower screencap in OPs pic is the wors the game looks in the entire presentation. Not saying it looks great, it suffers badly from pop-in (though the washed-out look was a problem with the Direct streams, as it doesn't look so washed-out in other people's captured footage of the game), just pointing out how ridiculously exaggerated OP's pic is.
